SCP: The Unforseen Variable (Old)

Murrey, finds himself in a new world made of laws he dosen’t understand. Find as he grows his organization creates a religion and tries to prepare for the end of everything. This book is being rebooted because I screwed up some plot points that I can’t fix aside from rewriting it all. So I’m doing a reboot. If you wanna get a sneak peek into what the reboots plot is gonna be later down the line I guess you can read this. I wouldn’t because it would make the pay offs less impactful, but you do you. Permission was given to me by Duy Giang to use his art for the cover go check him out. They’ve made some of the coolest and quality art related to SCP on a visual level and is one of the reasons I wanted to make this book

Taking a break, NOT Dropping

Im taking a break be back soon I'm not dropping. Need a break as I'm overworking myself with all the research tou have to do. And if you ever wondered why SCP writers drop their fics. Its because of the research you need a LOT of research jnto this stuff. It also dosen't help that SCPs are only losted by numbers and not their classifications on the website so I have to just go through them all.

You know the chapter Throwdown I put out? (I don't expect you too). I spent over 6 hours researching into the Site, its floorplan and SCPs in there. The same where Murrey lists all those helpfull SCPs kept in Site-19s records. However with Site-19 it was hard because of all the SCPs they had listed there from a source of a madlad from 7 years ago on reddit. With Site-88 (The Site Throwdown takes place in) there were like 8. So I've come to the conclusion that if the story is to go were I want it to, and to help improve wuality in terms with my grammar mistakes. To all you out there I write on my phone and I have massive fingers so I can think I wrote say "quality" but instead I'll type "wuality". That one is very common.

I try to catch them, but I like to focus more on story and above all my wellbeing. And focusing on stuff you don't want to do because of time restraints is a great way to get burnout. And as such I'm taking a break. Don't know if It'll be a week or two, but what I do know is I'm scaling back my upload schedule to a chapter everyday. This is because naturally the further into the thick of it you get the more complicated shit is. And I have to compensate for that I still have The Journal, The Bright Family, Gaster and his multiversal portal, The Continental Hotel and the storyline going on with Jody. (Probably gonna need an interlude at some point).

So to say this story isn't complicated is to say a conspiracy theorist can present you clear and concise evidence on why the goverment infects us all with brain parasites when we are born. (That is a particularly fascinating one I found on my perusal through searching reddit for SCP stuff). But all in all this is complicated. And I like it being complicated. The one thing I hate more then a boring story with forced stakes and exposition is a linear straightforward story with no depth.

(Honestly though wouldn't be surprised if someone could make an iceberg video on this)

And that of course comes with planning. How to scale Murrey in a natural way with limiters so he's powerful, but not "I kill thte Scarlet King with a blast of my mind" powerful. Plus realistically the Foundation and G.O.C. probably have some secret weapons beside Tau-5. And if they don't I'll figure something out. Oh yeah I forgot about Bullwark. (BTW to that one guy who accused me of plaguerism for calling the faction Bullwark. Checked out Steel Waste pretty cool premise and storyline was good though a little forced.)

But hey this is SCP and if anything the last thing that should be happening is you thinking you figured it all out and have more idea on what's happening then maybe a little bit more then Murrey.

Btw if you have cool SCPs I can use comment them here so I don't have to go on a researching journey for 6 hours to find out all the SCPs held in Site-19. It was seriously mentally draining to look at the same white document iver and over again but yeah.

Note: Kinda find the Bright family arch a little forced but it had to happen somehow
