Ch. 18 Coronation
Pov.
-Kara-
The tall man with long pointy ears had a long snout too
"Whoa, it's a dog!" I say
"A black dog" Coeus adds
"This is the almighty God of Destruction, Anubis!" The small purple cat boy says
"Yeah! Get it right!" another fat version of the cat boy says
"Hey, you two are cats!" I tug on the skinny one's ears
"Gahh!? How dare you!?" he struggles to get out of my grip
"Father, help Beerus!" the fat one cries as I examine his brothers ears
"Awesome" I giggle seeing they really were attached to his head
"Greetings, young Kara" Anubis finally says
I look up
Rhea backs up, hiding behind me
I slowly let go of Beerus's ears
"Hello mister" I giggle as I offer to shake his hand
"C-careful, Kara" Rhea whispers
Anubis leans forward, looking right down at me
"It's a pleasure" he smiles before shaking my hand
"You must be very strong, huh mister?" I say
He nods "very" he smiles
"Now" Anubis steps back "let me introduce you to my children here" he sets his hand on on the cat boys head "this boy is Beerus and his brother Champa" he pats their heads
Both were just about my age
"I'm older just saying" Beerus says
"By like five seconds!" Champa shouts
"And this is my beautiful wife Bastet and…"
"our daughter Cleopatra" he adds
Cleopatra jumps in my face "You can call me Cleo and I'm a cat too!" She wiggles her ears
Her and her mothers skin were a little brown. Almost like the Spanish people with awesome mustaches and that make just as awesome tacos back home
"Yeah look at your ears" I pull her head down examining her little ears
She giggles
"Yes and we had the decency to take on our human state" she says
"Shut up ma, you know we can't!" Champa shouts
"Besides, Champ would look like a fat slob if he did." Beerus scoffs
"What was that, Champa?!" Anubis growls
"I… uhh" he giggles nervously "b-be quiet?" Champa asks
"I know your not telling your mother to Be Quiet, Champa" Anubis says
"I-I m-m-mean I didn't mean to" Champa gulps
"Now why don't we all just try to get along for once" said a blue lady that looks a lot like Isis, except she was tall
"Hey ma" Vados waves from behind me
"Hello darling" the lady smiles
"Whatever" Anubis sighs "where's Ignia?" He raises an eyebrow
"I think he's still with Irene" I say
"Giving him an early 'congratulations.' If you know what I mean, oh ho-ho-ho" Whis does his silly laugh
"Gosh, how gross" Beerus and Champa cringe
"I see," Anubis chuckles "you know I'm still a bit tired myself Bastet" he whispers as he grabbed her hips
"Well I'm not" she pouts "where's your mother Rhea?" She asks Rhea who was still hiding behind me
"Whuaaa!?" Anubis' jaw drops
"Oh… she should be inside" Rhea says
"Very well, c'mon let us make our presence known" Bastet goes on her way
"Man, why do you have to be so mean, baby." Anubis sniffs with his head down
"Shut up you Dog, that's all you think about!" She shouts
"I'm the God of Destruction, show some respect, stupid feline!" Anubis shouts as the doors opened for the two
They go at it the entire way Bastet had made Anubis so angry his energy was bursting around him but I sensed it suppress once they made it inside
"All right, who's stronger?" I ask Beerus
"Who do you think" he puffs his chest
"Shut up, only cause you're older!" Champa shouts
"What!?" Beerus growls
"Really?" I ask "your awfully skinny" I poke at his ribs
"You wanna try me?" He gets in my face
"You bet!" I smile widely
"I highly do not recommend that" Whis says
"What!?" Beerus growls
"Look what he did to me" He turns his head so he could see the little scratch on his cheek
"Hehe*" I giggle
"What!? No way you let this monkey lay a finger on you" he points a finger on my chest
"Indeed." Whis sighs
"How did that happen? I thought you mastered ultra instinct?" Beerus asks
"Yes I did, but unfortunately I was consciously suppressing my energy therefore by body wasn't as fast as it needed to be so that it could easily evade Kara's attack" Whis explains
"Whoa, what is ultra instinct?" I ask
"It is a technique that allows the users body to react on its own" Vados explains
"So like your body is on autopilot" Coeus says
"That's awesome, I bet I can master it easily" I giggle excitedly
"You know what, I bet you will *Oh ho ho" Whis laughs
"My ass this monkey will master anything" Beerus says
"If you wanna go I'm all for it" I slam my forehead against his
"Yeah? Well me too!" he growls
"Enough" Whis and Vados both tap their staffs on the floor, getting our attention
"You two need to seriously calm down before your little fight destroys the castle" Vados says
"Well tell your little pussy cat here to calm down" I cross my arms
"Shut up, you monkey!" Beerus gets in my face
"Pussy!" I shout before we bash heads again
"Monkey!" he growls
"Pussy!"
"Monkey!"
"Pussy!"
"Grrr*" we growl at each other both waiting for the other to throw a punch
"Honestly you two" Kusu sighs
"Hehe" Coeus giggles "c'mon let's all go look at the rides" he says
"Hmph*" Beerus angrily backs off "yeah, whatever. I'm hungry too, so we should eat"
"Yeah, let's go!" Cleo grabs my wrist and yanks me away from Rhea
"Hey!" Rhea shouts before quickly following behind
We wonder around Othrys, every street was filled with different rides and games for everyone to play
It was so cool and awesome
But no matter where I looked people looked at me with such fear and hatred in their eyes
I just couldn't understand why it's always been this way
"That's him" I they mutter as they gave Me dirty looks
"Yeah, disgusting. I can't believe they really let that thing live amongst us" they whisper
"You know, I think you're awfully pretty." Cleo smiles
"Me?" I ask
"Mhmm."
"Ew, why are you saying that?" Rhea pouts
"Because it's true." Cleo shrugs. "If he looked like you.. well… I'd tell him."
"What is that supposed to mean?" Rhea frowns
"It means, Kara likes me and not you." Cleo sticks her tongue out at Rhea
"Grr* you-" Rhea puffs her cheeks
"Do you want to be boyfriend and girlfriend?" Cleo asks
"What?!" Rhea squeals
"What's that?" I ask
"You've only just met him!" Rhea jumps
"And? Look, we've been holding hands this entire time." She raises our hands
I thought she was holding my hand so that I wouldn't get lost again.
I slipped away as she kept arguing with Rhea.
I quickly realized I went opposite to where Coeus and everyone was because they were nowhere to be found
"Keheheh." A girl giggles
I turn my head after spotting her long brunette hair from the corner of my eyes
I keep my head down as I squeeze through the big peoples to find the mysterious girl
I look around for a good minute before I stopped for a breather
It was for the briefest moment, but I just barely managed to make out her face
She was the prettiest thing I have ever seen.
I was ready to hover over the crowd of people when I a blue little girl with long white hair
I sniff the air, wondering if she was who i thought she was
"Isis!" I hurry over to her
"Oh, hey Kara." she smiles
"Why are you so tiny?" I examine her arms and face
"Oh, I didn't want to be recognized. Rhea came to me when she said you ran off."
"Really? How long have I been gone?"
"Not long, c'mon. The coronation is going to commence!" She jumps excitedly
"Oh, right!" I giggle, even though I had no clue what that was
She grabs my wrist and we push through the crowd to the front of the gates where we found everyone else
"Hey." Rhea smiles before seeing Isis
"H-hey is that you mom?" She asks
"You bet" Isis giggles
"Why do you look like that?" Coeus asks
"I forgot to eat my vegetables today" Isis frowns
"You did?!" Rheas eyes widen
"Kyhehe" Isis giggles before the bells stopped ringing
"Oh no…" Rhea sniffs beside me
"I thank you all for gathering on this wonderful day" the Grand Ministers voice is heard throughout the entire kingdom
"Ignia has defeated the longtime ruler of this planet and that of the cosmos" he continues "He victoriously fought the long reigning Titan Amaterasu and for that he is to be crowned as the next Omni King," he adds
"Here now Ignia son of the First" he taps his staff on the floor before a white halo appears on Ignias back
"Accept this halo as you're crown and lead us into the future" the Minister says before the crowd roars behind us
"Awesome" Coeus giggles
"Ignias the best" Rhea says
"So cool!" I jump
"They adore him, just like when we crowned him as the King of Gaia" Isis says
Her eyes looked up at Ignia with great love and admiration
"One day I'm going to be just like him you just watch" I tell Isis after seeing how much she admires him
She smiles "I'm sure you will" she giggles
The bells rang on and on and the crowd refuse to let up
"Now c'mon" Coeus says
"Let's go, Isis!" I grab her wrist
"Wh-what?"
But before she could ask any questions I follow behind everyone else
The bunch of us go on into the festival with Beerus Champa and Cleopatra along with the Ministers children Whis Vados and Kusu
She stayed in her itty bitty person the entire time and we all had a lot of fun going on different rides, playing tag, hide and go seek and eating
"Gosh I'm so super full" I pat my belly as the ferris wheel began moving
"You've always been a slob" Isis giggles as she wipes the glaze off my bottom lip with her finger
"Always?" I
"Hehe" she giggles
"Weird, why do you think Whis and Vados made us go on this one alone." I frown watching all of them hop into one
Meanies they lied about only two going at a time
"I-I don't know" Isis twirls her finger through her hair
"Wow look at that!" I point at the horizon
It was really weird, there were lots and lots of clouds surrounding all of Othrys
"Oh yeah" Isis smiles
"That's so weird I thought water was supposed to be there" I squint My eyes
"Oh no, there aren't any oceans here in the Alpha sector of Othrys" she says
"The, what?" I ask
"Oh y-you see Othrys is our little planet" she says "it's like a three step pyramid on top of an inverted pyramid"
"On the tippy top is us, the alpha section of Othrys where it's just one massive city" she explains "on the second 'step' is the beta section, it has many cities separated by farmland.
Finally, the Delta section, that one only has four cities" she holds up four fingers "one on each side each separated by a lot of farmland, vast oceans, and oil rigs" she says
"Each of which have their separate duties to aid and protect Gaia" she adds
"Whoa that's awesome" I giggle excitedly "so which section was I from?" I ask, wondering where I came from
"Oh… you were born in the Omega" she says
"Omega? What is that?"
"Planet Gaia"
"W-wait so Othrys is like on Planet Gaia?"
She nods
"Look" she stands up
I watch as a little sweat dribbled down the side of her head before all the clouds around Othrys were blown away in an instant revealing the massive planet below
"Wow…" I smile at the sight
"Heh* yeah" she chuckles a bit out of steam from her little trick
"It's the 'Omega', better known as Earth or Gaia, it is approximately 350 times as massive as Othrys" she says
"Wow that's like super duper huge, huh?" I giggle
"Yeah" she smiles still a bit out of breath
I bet 350 is bigger than 6
I sit back, admiring the view
We turn on the Ferris wheel a lot of times as we laugh and giggle around till the moon finally rose
"You know your father made the moon up there so Ignia can have fun in the oceans" she says
"Really?" I ask as she rests her head onto my shoulder
"Yeah" she nods "it makes waves and stuff" she huffs
"He made Othrys so he could see how the people were doing down on Gaia, he loved us all so much" she sniffs
"I wish I could've met him" I smile, looking up at the moon
He sounds so awesome
I wonder what had happened to him
"I'm getting tired, Kara" she yawns slowly sliding her hand into mine, locking our fingers together
I smile "yeah me too" I yawn
"We should head back" she says
"okay" I smile
I slowly began ascending into the air
I pull her into my arms, holding her tightly as I flew back to the castle
"So when are you leaving?" I ask, remembering she was leaving with the minister
"Oh…" she thinks "tomorrow Tora and I are heading off with the minister"
"Oh man" I sigh as I land on the balcony she said was to her room
"Soo…" I give her an awkward little smile "I'm going to look for the others now"
"W-wait" she grabs my pinky finger
"Yeah?"
"D-do you wanna watch a movie?"
"Oh yeah.." I remember hearing about those things
She smiles "come" she leads me inside
"Oh okay" I jump into her bed
I watch her throw her top aside
She bends over before she steps out of her dress and into a white sleeping gown
"So what movie?" She jumps on the bed
"Huh?" I blush "oh wh-whatever I guess" I lay down beside her
Gosh I felt so hot all of a sudden
I turn to face her before she wrapped her arms around my waist
"Your so warm" she rubs her face on my chest
"Hehe, yeah." I giggle
"You know" she looks up at me "I'm going be gone for a while"
"I'm gonna miss you a lot"
"Yeah" she sighs before throwing her arms around my neck
"Kara?" She whispers
"Y-yeah?"
"You remind me so much of your father, you know." Her eyes dart around my face
"Really?"
…
"Yeah… y-you look just like him actually." She sniffs
"Awe man." I pull her in
She digs her face into my chest as she began sobbing quietly
"I'm going to miss you, Kara." She shakes her head "so.. so much."
"M-Me too." I whimper
