A New Ally
Since King Dillion announced Melisa as Alexius' new concubine, Alexius had a new routine of visiting Melisa whenever he could. Alexius considered this act as atonement for his past mistakes. Even though Melisa only gave him basic attention behind her polite smile, Alexius never stopped caring about Melisa.
That day, Alexius' work finished earlier than he expected. As usual, after he finished, Alexius went to Melisa's castle, even though he heard that Amelia was looking forward to his presence. Alexius heard the news that Melisa was in her room. With permission from Teresa, Alexius finally went up to go to Melisa's room.
