Romance on a Lost Island

" Why are you avoiding me? " He cupped her cheeks and asked with a cold gaze. " Isn't it better than knowingly doing something that would later hurt the both of us? " Aria whispered lowering her head to hide the tears that threatened to fall on her cheeks. " How I live or who I want to be with is usually not influenced by my family or anyone else. I make my own decisions. " He added with a dominant tone before he pressed her red plump lips for a hard kiss swallowing the remaining reluctance in her heart. She fell into intoxication as she closed her eyes in resignation allowing herself to be encased in his tight embrace. If the cruise capsizing in the middle of the ocean was Aria's terrible nightmare, then being stranded on an island with a very hot, hidden and mysterious prince of the UK monarchy was a dream she didn't wish to wake up from, the best thing that had happened in her life. 21 Xander is dead?

Day 9.

Next morning.

" Hey you get the fuck up! "

Aria suddenly awoke to the sounds of big boss and his minions shoving Qin Cheng and Xander out of the cabin.

" No please let them go, take me instead please don't kill them, he's sick...!!! "

She shrieked struggling on the floor as tears rolled down her face. Were they really going to die finally?

She thought that she was still in a dream!

Her facial features squashed together in pain as her heart beat loudly against her chest.

She wished they had died on that cruise instead of fighting for their lives in the rough seas filled with dangerous sharks only to be stranded on an island for a whole week hopefully waiting to be rescued only to die in the end.

But she was still glad for the little time she had on the island. At least something special happened that she'd cherish forever even in her grave.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Three loud gunshots suddenly blasted in the air freezing her to the core.

" Alex...! "

Her soft voice was barely audible as a feeling of suffocation and terror assaulted her. Her body went cold. She felt as if her heart had been ruthlessly bitten by a cold viper as her pretty face went pale.

" Alex "

Suddenly her heart felt a stabbing pain as a thin layer of perspiration appeared on her forehead.

No, no she didn't want to think or imagine anything...

Her vision turned blurry, it was difficult for her to see clearly.

Complete hopelessness converted into tears that rained down her face at a lightning speed.

Her bottom lip quivered and her shoulders dropped in resignation.

" Untie the rest. "

In her blurry vision, she seemed to notice a man's tall and straight figure entering through the door.

" Alex... "

She sniffled quietly as streams of tears flowed faster than her heartbeat.

" Don't cry, it's over now. "

Xander whispered to the little woman as he untied her already numb and swollen wrists.

His deep and husky voice felt so warm and cozy, like a blanket that wrapped around her and touched her heart. She felt safe again.

He was alive!

" You're not hurt... "

Bawling her eyes out, she threw herself against his muscled chest. Her sound of wailing and suffering echoed through out the cabin.

" Enough, stop crying. "

Xander's lips formed a thin line as he tightly embraced her gently rubbing her head. The little woman was mumbling incoherent things as she choked on her sobs and it greatly pierced and suffocated his heart that he found it difficult to breath.

" Alex, "

" It's over now. "

He softly mumbled on her ears with a soft gaze that seemed like water could start dripping out from his eyes.

Few hours later the three; Aria, Qin Cheng and Xander were in a small Mexican town on an island surrounded by dozens of helicopters, ambulances and paramedics.

Aria felt as if she was still in a bad dream.

A nightmare.

Her heart that had been lingering in death had now returned to safety. Their nightmare was finally over.

She couldn't explain the feeling in her heart but her eyes were shining with glee. Even the air felt new and fresh.

It was over.

Back on the island when the two guys had been shoved out of the cabin, Aria really thought that they had been murdered.

It turned out that the handgun that they had discovered from the fisherman's boat saved their lives.

Xander was still holding onto it and had managed to unfasten the ropes on his hands by the night.

They left the island with the help of the gang's motorboat including the eight women who also looked sick and barely conscious.
