Revenge With a Pinch of Tree

Due to the destruction of his kingdom, our friend was cursed to relive the same event time and time again. Will Cleo be able to reform the remaining squabbling cities back towards a unified state? Or will they loop time and time again until insanity grips onto their soul indefinitely? Anyway, this is Discontinued. I don't like what I did for this and I don't want to continue. If you want to see what has become of cleo I will upload a new story involving him. It will sadly not have any magic but it has cleo as a competentish person. so that's nice.

A bit of assistance

As I noticed the seed my body felt... as if I was being drawn near. [It's large, possibly around a foot in circumference... fuck it, I might as well go with the flow.] I submitted to the force and walked towards the seed. With a closer inspection I could determine that it indeed was what I assumed it to be. [It's radiating mana similarly to plants as well, so I should've been able to tell more accurately from afar.] "Tsk" I grew frustrated at myself for forgetting such basic material.

But then, out of nowhere "Hello kind soul," the seed used telepathy to speak. [This is not good, the only plants that can do this are predatory in nature.] Sweat dripped down my face as I backed up a few steps. [It could be a dryad trying to lure me into a trap!] I concluded and was about to get the hell out of there before the seed spoke again. "Don't compare my being to lowly dryads! They are the embodiment of weak trash!" I comprehended its words and had two things spark up in my mind.

[It's either of dryad with some god complex or an entirely different being...] I thought out and then began to talk back. "How about you prove it to me then?" I finally stated knowing full well that if it was bothering to talk to me it should be interested in something I could do or have one me. [Due to me only having the clothes on my back it should be something I could do then.] With my conclusion I waited for it to speak back.

"If that's what you want just come up and touch me," It spoke to me without anything alerting me for it being a lie. [Though telepathy can easily hide lies I'm going to put my bet on this seed.] I walked up to the seed and did as told, and to my surprise it showed all of my traits similarly to when I touched a power crystal on my 13th birthday to know what type of magic I had an affinity towards.

[So that's why they seed was interested in me! Jeez, how much have I forgoten since then?] I ignored that it stated that I was a semi-human for now and spoke up again. "So you want me to plant you?" I asked the seed and awaited an answer.

"I thought it was pretty obvious, but you are correct." The seed responded so my question. [Might as well, I'll have someone to keep me company while I figure out what to do in the near future] I reasoned out but before I complied I asked one last thing.

"So... how will I do this task? I don't really have a tool and even if I had one I doubt I could even make a dent in the soil." I finished my question and went a bit into thought. [I'm talking to a seed now... what has my life become?]

"That problem can be solved with one quick trick! It's pretty simple, if you grant me an offering I can give you a spell to assist in that. A drop of blood should work for that." It answered and made me rethink this whole helping a sentient seed thing. But just learning a new spell is worth it especially for just a small bit of blood.

"Alrighty then" I said as I bit one of my fingers because of my lack of blades and allowed a drop of blood to fall onto the seed. But this did something that neither had expected.

With a loud boom and a blinding light enveloping my eyes. Within a few seconds both had subsides revealing nothing of difference to me other than a slight feeling as if I had gotten stronger.

"Your welcome! You now have the ability to make a hole somewhere around me and then plant me so I can grow at a faster rate!" It seemed excited though it's voice tone never changing. Though I checked my status with the seed one more time to see what I had gained.

---------------------------------------

Weak Earth Manipulation I

Cost: 15 MPS

Allows the user to move a small amount of dirt at a time. Is a spell mainly used by some sentient plants to gain more nutrients from the surrounding soil. Though it can still move dirt it is ineffective because of how little it can move. for how much it costs to move.

----------------------------------------

"It's not great but I think I can do the job with this." I told the seed, grateful for now being able to learn earthen magics.

"Okay now that's over, chop chop human. I don't have all day," The seed commanded me to do the task at hand and I complied.

-----------------------------------------‐----------------------------------

I spent the next hour slowly moving dirt out from a designated area which was large enough to fit the sentient seed. Once it got around two feet deep I finally said bye to my newfound friend and rolled it into the hole in around 5 minutes even thought the hole was just a few inches away. With that finished I was able to end the job off by pushing the dirt back into the hole until it was dull of the dirt.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Success!" I announced as I finished planting the sentient seed. [This seed had quite the judgement of a good spot to set up shop.] I thought out as I saw the clearing to be near the ocean for easy access to food. It also had a good amount of trees that could be used for housing. "This land shall be the begining of the new Kingdom of Anavel!"

Well there it is! A second chapter to one of my stories. Pretty odd for me to do that but let's do a bit of explanation. This is going to be about cleo restoring his former kingdom with the assistance of a certain someone. I have also updated the first chapter a bit to make more sense so I suggest going back and reading that. If you've enjoyed so far do want you want but I strongly encourage you to vote for me and leave comments and reviews to let me know what I could do better.
