Levels and Tiers

In "Remnant Soul Chronicles," the System utilizes a standard Experience Counter and Tier bracket to distinguish how powerful a character is. Upon levelling up, the character retains all experience (ex. 1000/1000 -> 1000/4000) and must train to fill the experience counter back to full for another level. In some instances (or quests), the System may grant a level up as a reward for an achievement though any experience is retained.

The maximum "soft" level cap is 100, but the hard level cap is 300 which can only be feasible through special conditions/achievements. Be warned as there are other ways to level up than what I just mentioned in this story!

As for the Tier System, those are similar to cultivation tiers in Xianxia/Wuxia novels and focus primarily on the ability to refine the Soul, Body, and Mind.

- Core Refinement

- Origin Formation

- Origin Refinement

- Origin Synchronization

- Divine Core Formation

- Divine Core Refinement

- Divine Origin

Each respective Tier has three phases (or stages): Early, Middle, and Peak. Aside from the MC, no one else in the Galaxy is able to cultivate. Only the MC is able to utilize external abilities through the System which may prove useful in combat when the MC is unable to use their weapons.
