Reincarnated into prison life, with a trash system

He wasn't the one the whimsical god wanted, so he was discarded to the side, with his memories locked up until the world was saved. Who cares about that, though? When his memories finally returned, he was standing in the courtroom, as the judge was sentencing him to a lifetime in prison for a crime he did not commit. And although at first, the Prison Dungeon didn't seem so bad, he was about to learn that the prison, is not just a place...

...monster...!

~If you are not Kirrie, Tir, or Laor DO NOT TOUCH ANY OF THIS. I will consider it stealing and punch you hard enough for you to shit out your teeth for the next week. If you are either one of the three abovementioned kids though. - hello, as you can see I require your assistance once more, I am currently acquiring more materials but if you want to cooperate again, you can start bringing everything into the trade point. Sincerely Viria.~

Right in front of the opened gate, written in the monster's blood, a message from the man who was bothering Lithsar so much was clear and out there for everyone to see.

Even though it was made by using crimson fluid instead of ink or anything else including carving it into the ground or door, the message wouldn't have THAT MUCH of an impact if not for the sight of absolute carnage that started only a few feet further in.

"...did that guy set out to annihilate the entire spawning ground by himself...?!"

Lithsar gasped in disbelief – the usually brown and gray spawning ground was dyed in red, doused in a copious amount of slowly coagulating blood as the corpses of hundreds of mole rabbits and a few occasional mole-foxes were literally everywhere.

Littering the floor, stuck to the wall and even the ceiling – although the last ones did not for very long some already began to fall down because of the work of gravity.

"Tsk...!"

Lithsar clicked her tongue and run inside the monster spawning ground, jumping over the message written in blood and then dextrously navigating in between the carcasses.

"Oi! Where are you going, Lith?!"

One of the other prisoners – a man who was both a returning customer in the bathland of the respite and one of Lithsar hunting buddies called out after her in shock.

"Somebody has to tell that idiot that the more he kills, the stronger rare spawns are bound to appear! That idiot is here for less than a week – he surely has no idea about it!"

The gold-haired woman shouted back without stopping, and turned the corner, disappearing from the sight of the gathered prisoners.

The actual spawning ground wasn't that big so sprinting at full strength lead her to the other end rather quickly.

Normally something like that could not be achieved because of the monsters that spawned at a steady rate, but this time things were different.

All the beasts that Lithsar encountered on her way were dead.

And there were literal mounds of corpses by the sides of the cave.

It was an almost hellish landscape – blood, guts, and gore – that definitely wasn't the sight that one would expect from the spawning grounds of the first floor.

During her stay in the Prison Dungeon, it was the first time that Lithsar ever saw something like that.

Even during her time in the gang that she joined because of the influence of the man she fell for, she never was in a situation that came close to that level of carnage.

Usually, it was taking quite an effort for a lone prisoner from the first floor to take down even a single mole-rabbit, even if they had a low grade soul artifact meant for hunting – but Viria was supposed to have only a trash grade weapon.

"With that much death, what sort of monstrosity would appear...?"

Lithsar muttered to herself, passing by a huge pile of guts.

The gold-haired woman was worried – not for the reckless young man, mind you, but rather for herself.

She even began t regret her decision of running in to warn the guy.

Her problem was that freshly spilled guts shout release steam – which none of the gore she passed was doing.

This meant that the bodies had time to cool down – which in turn meant that the powerful rare spawn she feared could have already been out and about.

The possibility of her running in on the monster gnawing on Viria's corpse was outrageously high.

"Why do I even feel an obligation to do something...?!"

Lithsar cursed to herself and run to the side of the biggest mound of monster corpses yet – and once she passed it, she finally saw the bloody-black-haired man...

*SHING* *WHAM*

"YIIIIRGHHHH...?!"

...as he sliced the belly of the jumping mole-fox and then punched it while still in the air, causing the beast's body to spin and spill all the gust from its inside all around in a swirl.

"SCWEEE!" "SCWEEE!" "SCWEEEE!" "SCWEEEEE!" "SCWEE!" "SCWEEEE!" "SCWEEE!"

At least half a dozen of mole-rabbits jumped at the young man as he was landing, not giving him any time for recovery...

*WHAM* *WHAM* *WHAM* *SHING* *SHING* *WHAM* *SHING*

...or so they must have thought in their rabid brains, because the moment that they got into the range, the young man's hands became a blur and all beasts fell around him, either crushed or stabbed to death.

"Ah~!"

"!!!"

As that happened, Viria straightened his back and cheered out with excitement, and Lithsar ended up flinching and blushing thinking that it might be because of her presence.

Well... the truth was a bit different though.

[Prison shiv (mole-fox bone) – low grade soul artifact – it sometimes breaks but can be remade from any kind of trash in your possession.

"Ah~!"

After shaking off the blood the mole-rabbit blood from his hands, Viria glanced at his soul artifact and let out an excited gasp seeing that the fox swipe skill became mastered. If things were working how he believed them to, it meant that once he remakes his weapon with better trash, he will be able to add it as a bonus skill.
