Reincarnated into prison life, with a trash system

He wasn't the one the whimsical god wanted, so he was discarded to the side, with his memories locked up until the world was saved. Who cares about that, though? When his memories finally returned, he was standing in the courtroom, as the judge was sentencing him to a lifetime in prison for a crime he did not commit. And although at first, the Prison Dungeon didn't seem so bad, he was about to learn that the prison, is not just a place...

*thump*

The destroyed corpse fell onto the ground and rolled to the side until it stopped on some more gore.

"...that I'm busy? Idiot."

Viria finished his sentence and shook his hand with a grimace. The teeth and bones of the creature weren't the softest and stopped the charge of a monster – even the relatively small one like the mole rabbit could not be just shrugged off that easily.

"How in the world I will hide you or at least keep you without getting too suspicious...?"

The young man returned to the bones extraction and said gazing upon his yield.

One thing for sure, despite the rare spawn mole rabbit's size Viria was not expecting the creature's femurs to be that massive.

The young man was already wondering whether the much larger material will create a much larger weapon, but for him to test it, the bones would have to be turned into trash first.

*crack*

The trusty rock that Viria was using that day to turn materials into the trash that he could use crumbled in his hands only after a single swing at the rare spawn's femur.

"Hmm... Isn't that troublesome...?"

The young man furrowed his brows, looking at the pieces of stone in his hand, before throwing them away and switching the grip on his prison shiv.

*SHING*

*crack* *clang*

Holding his soul artifact firmly with both hands, Viria delivered a devastating overhead stab right at the giant bone – only to have the blade of his shiv break off and bounce off the opposite wall with a clean sound.

[Prison shiv (mole-fox bone) [borken] – middle grade soul artifact – it can break but can be remade from any kind of trash in your possession.

Abilities – Bone weapon (The higher the mastery level, the higher the damage dealt by the weapon)- -Ambush hunter (Boosts the damage dealt to enemies unaware of the user's presence)-

- Bleeding (Even a little cut afflicts the target with hemorrhage)- - Rabbit strike (Adds the speed of a mole-rabbit's jump to the attack) [Mastered] [Bonus]-

Mastery – level 2/12

The visuals were enough proof, but the young man still focused on the remains of the soul artifact still in his hand until the dialogue window with its desrpition popped up and confirmed what he already knew.

"Yeah... this is definitely a far too good thing to let go off... but storing it in the shack would be equal to putting it outside with a big STEAL ME sign taped on."

Viria groaned, once again assuming one of the worst outcomes despite being very lucky – relatively, at least, considering his circumstances and all.

"But that just means that I need to get my hands on the black bill and got myself a proper place. I wonder how much materials I would have to gather for that though, it can't be an easy feat..."

The young man's face darkened with a concerned expression, with everything that happened in the extremely short time period, it was not that surprising that he completely forgot, or rather missed the fact, that he actually already is in possession of the black bill – only that the said black bill is in the hands of the three children that have been helping him out with the transportation and selling of the monsters that he hunted down.

"Repair – but use the mole-fox claws as an augmentation."

Viria spoke up being very specific and the soft light engulfed his soul artifact, the splintered mole-fox's bones, and the broken mole-fox's claws, just as he requested.

"The night is still young... With a bit more luck on my side, I might even manage to get the mastery for the fox swipe while trying to hunt enough monsters to get myself a house~"

Viria grinned, looking at his soul artifact's description and changing the grip on the shiv while crouching down and sneaking towards the entrance of the shallow tunnel from which most monsters have come out as it must have been where their spawner or spawning point was located.

Early in the morning, the gold-haired woman, Lithsar was heading towards the monster spawning grounds to earn some bonus money before her shift at the bathland of respite would start.

On her way there, she could not stop thinking about the new prisoner, Viria.

The handsome mister that the resolute girl, Kirri, was adoring so much.

There was this embarrassing episode when Lithsar and Vriia met in front of the private bathroom, but despite it being something that she would prefer to not happen, the gold-haired woman wasn't actually focused on it.

No.

She was more bothered about the outrageous mess that the young man left IN that private bathroom.

Viria did pay with a second green bill for the cleaning service – and saved himself from having destruction of property added to his crime list – but the trouble of returning the room to the usable state wasn't what was bothering Lithsar either.

"Those were definitely the toxins leaving his body... but the amount of them... he must have rushed all the steps between the low-low and the medium-low levels all at once... but he was supposed to only have the trash grade artifact... so many questions..."

The gold-haired woman mumbled to herself while looking to the side on her way from the first barrier to the second one...

"...eh...?"

Where she gasped, staring in confusion at the group of prisoners standing in front of the open door and peering inside with strange expressions.

"Hey! What in the world are you all doing? Trying a new hunting method or something?!"

Lithsar shook her head in disbelief and called out, making a few of her fellow prisoners turn her way.

"...?"

And silently moved to the side, making way for her to come closer and see for herself – which she did, ready o summon her soul artifact at any time.
