Part 10 Ironman I Part V

-Laura POV-

So I had to wait for tony to pick me up, that will get annoying really fast so I will suggest a move to NY. Anyway after I broke into the Tower because I could, I found out something interesting about the Hellfire club. The Hellfire Club was a name for several exclusive clubs for high-society rakes established in Britain and Ireland in the 18th century. The name most commonly refers to Francis Dashwood's Order of the Friars of St. Francis of Wycombe. Such clubs, rumor had it, served as the meeting places of "persons of quality" who wished to take part in what were socially perceived as immoral acts, and the members were often involved in politics. Neither the activities nor membership of the clubs are easy to ascertain. The clubs allegedly had distant ties to an elite society known only as "The Order of the Second Circle". The first official Hellfire Club was founded in London in 1718, by Philip Wharton, 1st Duke of Wharton and a handful of other high-society friends. The most notorious club associated with the name was established in England by Francis Dashwood, and met irregularly from around 1749 to around 1760, and possibly up until 1766. In its later years the Hellfire was closely associated with Brooks', established in 1764. Other groups using the name "Hellfire Club" were set up throughout the 18th century. Most of these clubs arose in Ireland after Wharton's had been dissolved. The club is believed to be nothing but a Myth now but if you look close you can see rumors surrounding every major change in last few hundred years, which makes me wonder if Victors attitude was molded by birth by Nathaniel Essex who is to say that the man Logan thought was his father was not a clone of his?

Anyway once we got back I asked Tony how his trip went. "Oh you know beat some terrorist into the ground, saved some people, got shot at by the US Military." "See I told you they were not friendly!" He looks like he wants to respond but then he just stops and turns up the TV. [ Here at the Firefighter Memorial Fundraiser Sponsored by Stark Industries, there is still no sign of Tony Stark Himself. ] "Jarvis did I get an Invite to that?" "No sir there is nothing on the calendar." "Laura want to crash a party?"

"Can I drive!?" "NO!.... I mean no, go get changed you haven't see the clothes you got yet, I had Pep put them up." "Awww, I'll go change then. I hope you give Pep a raise." "Maybe I'll give her 12% of a raise."

After changing....into a red dress ; which feels strange to think, do and say, I head out to where Tony is already waiting.

"Nice, I wasn't sure you would choose a dress, why red?"

"Meh might as well try it, it isn't bad so far. And I chose red incase I have to Stab someone, it will be less noticeable that way."

".....You know what I'm not even going to comment, lets go."

-The Party-

The Party was as one would expect practically useless, just a bunch of richies showing off their inherited money, without actually changing anything. the only things to note were Tony realizing the Stain betrayed him, and surprisingly The diamond telepath was there I could tell she looked surprised that she couldn't read my mind, not only with the natural defense I have but I had be practicing Occlumency/Mind palace creating defenses and organizing my memories. I am glad however that I have not told Tony about what I found, or at least I don't think I did, I have yet got to the point where my memories organize themselves.

-Several hours After returning-

"Hey, Laura, can we talk?" Tony asked looking...off.

"Sure, I actually want your advice on some things but shoot."

"I noticed you didn't look surprised at the fact Stain said he was the one to remove me from my company, anything you know that I don't?"

"A lot actually, Overwatch Send file IR-S-001-Colab * Ironman-stain-001-Colaberation* to Tony and Jarvis as well as the evidence we collected to back it up." "Yes, Mam"

... "HE WAS LIKE A FATHER TO ME! HOW TRUE IS THIS!?" 

"I would say 98 percent, only due to the fact that there are telepaths capable of mind control and shapeshifters. But I do believe it was him Tony.....Sorry. I found out while I was staying at the tower, I decided to look into how your weapons were being moved and that was what I could find. Do you want me to handle him or.."

"NO....I will, thank you Laura, now what did you want to talk about?"

"Well I ran into an interesting person, and yes he is a criminal, that can change the mass of objects and beings He touches, as well as a telepath which is how I got the information about his abilities. I also left a cam in the vent so we can listen and view his activities." 

"This doesn't sound like something you need me for?"

"Right my thought was that we could use his DNA to create some sort of training chamber that would effectively increase our mass while we exercise and train, we could also use is as security stopping most people before they can do anything, although it wont work as well on anyone that is enhanced. So I was wondering if such as thing was viable or if I should just forget about it."

"It is possible I was working on something similar years ago for NASA but they decided to pull out, this was before I had Jarvis so it would be in the Archives. If you can collect enough material to work with it would make it much easier, also try to capture him alive as I am unsure if his abilities would work if he dies."

"Thanks, never tried to bring in someone live so this will be a challenge, but I will do it. Though I am surprised you ant me to bring him in. Also Tony make sure you build something that can protect your mind, Theta, Beta, and Delta waves minimum. I do not know much about telepaths but I know they access those and most likely more depending on their power."

"Will do and Thanks Laura, just make sure not to keep anything like this from me okay? And I have done a lot of things I regret, so even if I have to duty my hands a bit more, this will help me do better."

"Makes sense but I make no promises, I do know some more things but it has to wait until a few things happen."

"What can you see the future? HAHAHA"

....

"Wait really!?"

"Well no but I do know some events because of reasons.... no I cant tell you them yet I promise I will but.. "

"Only after a few things happen, right I will hold you to it. I have work to do and someone to see so I will be going."

... I am glad I was able to distract Tony a bit, he did not have a good look in his eyes but it called down a bit, I just hope that my influence doesn't change him too much.
