The Library

l was finally free from my room and started my adventure in a new world. I explored the different rooms in the hallway. But there was nothing that interests me, I also found out that I live in a castle just looking out the window.

I shouldn't be surprised after all I am a prince but this castle is huge, just looking out the window I can tell just half of it is the size of 5 football fields. I can also tell my room is located really high up. While I was exploring I would run into knights who were patrolling the hall.

I would hide in a room until a knights has passed then I would continue down the hallway until I came across some stairs and went down to the next floor.

When I step in to the hallway ,the door at the end caught my attention because it was different from all the others because it has a golden arch made with dragons that was on top of the door.

I went straight for the door as there must be something amazing in it after all it not like the other doors.

I jumped up to reach the door handle to open the door and go through it. what greeted me was a row of bookshelves filled with book and other instruments that I'm not sure what uses they have but this place looked so cool.

The room was huge as i walked further in i saw a skyline with the sun shining down illuminating the room of the library. The library was at least 20 floors high and i was on the first floor of the library.

This must be the royal library, I can learn a lot about this world from the books that are in here. I walked further into the library and was greeted by a surprise. There sat an old man with short white hair and silvers eyes with a long loose-fitting white shirt and black pants with black boots. he was looking at me while sitting in a big wooden chair.

What shocked me was I didn't feel his presence even now even while he is right in front of me.

" well well little one you've come a long way from your bedroom , do you know how worried your mother is going to be when she finds out that you're gone. Little boy come here"

The little-baby boy with black hair and sky blue eyes wearing a blue onesie just looked at the old

man with a weird expression.

who is this old man and he wants me to go to him? who the hell would go to someone they don't know especially since you are suspicious. how about you tell me your name first.

The old man looked at the young boy hesitant to come to him so he points to himself and said" my name is Cassius Godfang the former ruler of the Heavenly fang Kingdom and Father of the current ruler Kol Godfang and grandfather of the first prince of the heavenly fang empire Leo Godfang. That's a right little one I'm your grandfather"

This surprised me this old man is my grandfather; I started to approach him at a slow pace after all I still have to act like a baby.

Cassius just smiled and stood up to picked up Leo and then went to a nearby table put Leo on the table. Leo sat down on the table with his feet crossed and stared at his newly discovered grandfather wondering what was going to happen.

Cassius raised his hand and a book came flying to him from the shelves. This made Leo's eyes sparkle with wonder. he has been in this world for six months and barely seen any magic at all. he might have seen the servants that take care of him use it when they used fire magic to warm up the water so they can bathe him. but the magic his grandfather used was way cooler.

Cassius looked at the book and then looked at Leo and said little one I'm going to tell you a story about the history of the world and about the different types of magics in the world. After all, you are a prince and you should be educated about your empire.

Leo just looked at him with excitement after all this what he wanted all along to learn about magic and this world he can't wait.
