The Outlaw [1]

[You have selected the mission with the 'hard' difficulty!]

[Survive fighting the local outlaws' boss for 5 minutes! (Difficulty: Hard), Reward: 30,000 TPs, Deadline: N/A, Punishment: N/A]

"Could you put my satchel in the inventory now, Nova?"

[Yes.] She said, putting the satchel Aisam had hidden beneath his cloak, dematerializing it into his inventory.

He then pursued the outlaw's member, weaving through the bustling crowds and keeping a vigilant eye on his target.

Eventually, he watched as the man slipped into a dimly lit alleyway, its desolation contrasting sharply with the lively streets.

Stealthily, Aisam pressed against the wall, observing his target's movements as he made his way toward a weathered wooden door leading underground.

"Now's my chance," he muttered under his breath, unsheathing his weapon and moving with purpose towards his quarry. In an instant, he closed the distance, ready to strike.

Slash! Clash!

As he was about to slash his dagger cutting his back, the man turned around clashing his knife with his dagger as he held a cold face.

"I don't have any money, boy."

"I don't want your money," Aisam said then jumped back.

Now, they were both facing each other, the man standing in front of him with indifferent expression and loose posture.

"If you're that eager, let's get it over with then."

Swoosh

The man ran fast toward him reaching beside him as Aisam was standing still on his spot.

Clang

Aisam managed to defend his body in the last second by deflecting his knife.

Thud

He fell to the ground with his back.

Swish

The man aimed for his chest jumping above him.

"Gotcu!"

Swoop

Aisam swiftly dodged his dagger reaching next to his body.

Cut

Aisam lacerated his right shoulder.

The man jumped back still holding the same cold face despite his probably painful bleeding wound, "You're not half bad," he said, and didn't hold his hand on his bleeding injury, letting his blood spill.

Swoosh

Aisam quickly moved forward aiming for his right injured shoulder.

Parry

The man parried his dagger with one remaining hand, making Aisam lose his balance as he aimed for his right leg.

Ping

Aisam threw his dagger with force toward his torso as he rolled in the air kicking his left arm.

Clatter

The man's knife fell at the end of the alley.

Whack

Aisam's dagger hit his right shoulder again sticking into the wound.

Swoosh

Aisam quickly moved toward him.

Thump

He hit his face with his fist as he pulled out the dagger with his left hand simultaneously.

Thud

The man fell on his face, "ARGH!" as he finally screamed in pain.

Thrust

Aisam shoved his dagger into his right bleeding shoulder.

"ARGHHHHH!"

The man shouted in pain but no sane ordinary person would come looking into a dark alley if they heard pain screams.

Thrust

Pulling out the dagger, he thrust it into his neck which hit his critical points this time with his higher strength.

"AHHHHH!"

The man screamed one last time struggling as his legs and arms convulsively contracted and moved.

...

After 5 minutes of his convulsive struggles, he eventually died as Aisam pulled out his dagger from his neck.

"Sigh, I've become bloody again," Aisam said sighing heavily and looking at his bloody clothes, hands, and body.

"Thank goodness, this body is compatible and doesn't get hyperventilation, unlike that Erebus," he said reflecting how this body didn't limit him like the last one and he could do the things he wanted to do right.

"Nova, Generate the model of this person?" Aisam said looking at the dead body of his target.

[Fine, wait a bit...]

[Model successfully added:

ID: B-01

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Race: Human

World: Elysiuma]

[Do you want to swap to this model right now?]

"Yeah, my body and clothes are all bloody," Aisam said considering that when swapping to a new model, his body, the target's body, and clothes clean themselves.

[Swapping in the process...]

*Ding

[Swapping to selected model completed.]

He now was a lean older boy with a height similar to his previous model, wearing a sleeveless red shirt and black pants, with red short hair, and red eyes.

"I think he was on some kind of drugs," Aisam muttered reflecting how his expressions were abnormal and it seemed like he didn't feel pain until the end when he screamed.

"Nova, place my dagger in the inventory for now, please."

[... The host's dagger was placed into the inventory.]

"Anyway, let's resume toward the main target," Aisam said walking toward the wooden door at the end of the dark alley leading underground.

The door opened as he pushed it slightly, and he started walking down the 20 stairs he reached a corridor leading to his right.

After walking straight into the corridor for about 1 minute there came an intersection, with three symbols written in the middle of the intersection each pointing to one way.

The symbol pointing to his right looked like a cat fighting with a dog while both standing on their back legs.

The symbol pointing on his left looked like an open treasure chest yet empty.

The symbol pointing ahead looked like a lion's head while roaring.

"I suppose the way is straight ahead since it seems the most menacing," Aisam thought then averted his gaze from the symbols as he walked straight ahead.

Walking for only about 30 seconds, he reached an iron door and tried to open it by pushing down the handle, but it wouldn't open so he tried knocking with his finger a few times.

"Alright, Alright, I'll be there," said someone with the voice of a soft young woman.

Looking through the peephole, she saw a familiar person a member of their organization.

"Oh, it's you, Valtor," the woman said as she opened the door immediately.

As the door opened he saw a young woman with red shoulder-length hair and red eyes.

Probably in her 20s wearing clothing resembling a red crop top and red short pants.

Her complexion was like ivory, smooth and gleaming with a natural glow yet possessing a raw, untamed beauty, and a muscular body that wasn't so prominent to diminish anything from her prettiness.

"Welcome home, bro!" she said, "Did the meeting go well? You don't seem gloomy!" she already started talking to him in front of the door locking eyes with him.

"Shit! I forgot to act depressed like he did! Well, I've already done it, might as well continue it otherwise I would seem more suspicious," Aisam thought.

"I-" she interrupted him, "Let's go in first," she said holding his hand and pulling him in.

As they entered the room, he saw a large room with many chairs in the middle, a room like a kitchen on the left, some cupboards on some sides of the room, and 2 closed wooden doors on the right.

Still holding his hand she closed the door, pulled him again toward the two chairs facing each other, and let him sit on one side.

Sitting in front of him, she rested her chin on her hands looking straight into his eyes with enthusiasm like she hadn't met him for years.

"So, tell me now? How did it go?" She said.

"Before that, Why do you seem so happy?"

"I haven't seen you not having a somber expression for a long, long, long, long time, you know!"

"My heart is sizzling with happiness right now!"

"..."

"Tsk, it can't be helped."
