Alien Encounter

Aisam remained passively seated on the ground, unfazed by the scene before him. His lack of reaction stemmed from a blend of circumstances: the unexpected turn of events failed to elicit any strong emotions within him, his physical exhaustion dulled his senses, and a lingering fear of the woman's potential actions left him frozen in place.

His eyes merely observed as the man who had threatened him met his demise, blood seeping steadily from his wounds. Across the grim tableau, the young woman stood, her sword impaling the man's chest. She maintained her grip on the weapon, tears streaming down her face as she muttered apologies, her voice wavering in distress, "I-I'm sorry! I'm s-sorry! J-Jason, y-you left me n-no choice..."

Despite the dramatic unfolding of events, Aisam's demeanor remained detached and distant, as if a mere spectator to this unfolding tragedy.

"C-couldn't we... j-just live h-happily t-together... all of u-us," the woman said sobbing to the man as the man lay on the ground taking his last breaths.

His bloody eyes were slowly closing as he reached his right hand toward the woman's face touching her cheek, "I-It i-s n-not y-our *cough f-fault... F-farewell, E-Ellie..." the man said choppily one last time as his hand fell on the ground becoming limp, and his skin was gradually losing its previous color becoming pale white.

"... F-farewell..." the woman said to the dead man as he pulled her sword out of him and held him in her embrace sobbing and mourning loudly.

Aisam found himself staring at the scene before him with a sense of detached curiosity, not quite sure how to proceed.

He mulled over his options calmly, lacking any trace of sympathy or emotional response. "Am I trapped in some melodramatic novel now? Great! Just what I needed!" he thought dryly.

While he wasn't entirely sure of the right course of action, he decided that engaging in a conversation would be the best approach.

With a nonchalant demeanor, he took a deep breath and prepared himself for what lay ahead.

"Umm... excuse me, I'm sorry for your loss but can you let me go?" Aisam said calmly to the woman.

Hearing his voice startled her as if she had completely forgotten he existed. She quickly looked up, her eyes locking onto his. After a few moments, she gently laid the man she had been holding onto the ground. Wiping away her tears with her hands and a torn strip of cloth from her clothes, she tried to compose herself.

Now, that she had calmed down, her previous glowing eyes had disappeared, and only dazzling golden eyes remained as she looked toward Erebus, "Are you lost, kid? Where are your parents?" The woman asked him gently.

"Hmm... How should I respond? I can't tell her the truth... I'll talk with her and just get out of here if I can!" Aisam thought as he readied himself for putting on an act.

"I don't have any parents. I was just looking for food." Aisam said calmly.

"... What kind of kid are you? Aren't you sad? How can you say that without showing any sign of sorrow? Furthermore, You haven't shown any evident fear or despair after seeing me kill him horribly in front of your eyes, not even a drop of tear!" She said calmly yet surprisingly to Aisam.

"... I am used to seeing it. It does not affect me anymore." Aisam said with a straight face.

"... Do you want to come with me?" She said gently to Aisam, and it surprised him although it wasn't obvious in his expression.

"Why would she want me?... She's probably a genuinely emotional one from what I've seen so far, so if she can take me somewhere far from here and free me from being stuck in that house, that would be great, She inevitably knows this world better than me so I can likely take advantage of that and prepare myself for living alone as I get stronger, or she could kill me like I think and end it all... let's try it," Aisam thought while he had locked eyes with her.

"Why? Do you want to kill me too?" Aisam said nonchalantly.

"OH, DEAR! Why is that the first thought that comes to your mind? I'm not going to harm you in any way... wait a minute! you are a human, how can you understand and talk our language, Celestians?" the woman said surprisingly as she stood up and put her guard up.

"... What is a Celestian?" Aisam said surprisingly as his brows furrowed.

Hearing his response stunned yet calmed her down, and she put her guard down, "You truly don't know?! How is this possible?... Could it be... you're a Celestian as well?!" She said.

"I've already told you I don't know what's even a Celestian?" Aisam said, and only a slight sign of anger was visible in his expression.

"I'm sorry... I want to explain it right now but this isn't the right place. If you want to come with me I promise I will take good care of you and explain everything you should know." the woman said gently.

"Hmm... If I agree to her right now, it will save me or lead me to my death... either way, I'm fine with it. What do I have to lose? Except for my life that I've already lost," Aisam thought impassively.

"OK, I will come with you," Aisam said.

"Alright, get up, and let's go!" She said then moved her hand forward to help him get up.

"By the way, you can call me Ellie. What's your name?" She said after helping him stand up in front of her.

"OK, Ellie. My name is Aisam... And can you cover yourself somehow, please? It's distracting." Aisam said indifferently to the woman pointing out her attention to her tattered clothing because of her intense fight from before which exposed parts of her belly, breasts, and thighs.

Ellie quickly jumped back, turning around to hide her blushing face. She raised her hands to her head, which began to glow with a golden light.

As she slid her hands down to her thighs, the light transformed her tattered clothes into pristine white garments. Her disheveled hair smoothed into elegant, glossy blond locks, and her appearance became radiant and captivating.

"Ahem! Let's forget that ever happened and just go our way." She said nervously her back facing Aisam.

"Fine, no problem. Lead the way." Aisam said nonchalantly downright ignoring her captivating and dazzling appearance.

"Heh! She is so easy to read... Isn't she going to pick up the body of that man and her weapon? Whatever! it's none of my business," Aisam thought noticing her awkward behavior as her back faced him, and she was drawing a strange pattern in a circle on the ground.

"What are you doing?" Aisam asked.

"We're going to the celestian domain, so I am preparing the ritual necessary for opening the gate to it," Ellie said.

"Is it gonna take long?" Aisam asked.

"No, it is... all ready!" Ellie said then stood up, "Come on, stand in the circle."

"OK," Aisam said then moved forward and stood in the circle.

"Close your eyes, please. You might get nauseous if you can't handle the teleportation," Ellie said, spreading her arms wide as the circle started glowing with golden light.

Aisam closed his eyes, getting ready for the upcoming occurrence.

"Are you ready?" Ellie said with her arms still spread wide.

"Yeah, go on," Aisam said.

"Alright, here we go!" Ellie said then quickly clapped her hands hard together, and it caused the circle's golden light to go up and cover their entire body as they both disappeared from there with nothing remaining as the pattern also disappeared.
