Julia sighed after a while of hugging Caiden, and he looked down at her before lifting her up, and she looked at him with shimmering eyes, and a smile appeared on his face before he placed his hand against her cheek, and she rubbed her face against it, and he exhaled deeply.
"I am sorry," she apologized and he scoffed.
"It's fine, want to tell me what's bothering you?" he asked and she looked up at the night sky and smiled.
"I just felt like hugging you, there is nothing bothering me," she responded.
"Damn it, I have known you for too long Julia, you liar, start talking," he said and she chuckled.
"You didn't have to call me a liar like that, you are so mean," she replied then he patted her on the head.
"I enjoy tormenting you, you should really know that by now, besides, you are still not feeling well, are your powers intact now?" he asked as her eyes glowed purple and she smiled.
