Illi pick up the chick at the scruff of its neck, the chick that was pressed down by Scarlett.

Scarlett flap her wings and land on Illi shoulder. She disdainfully glance at the chick, snort and turn away.

The moment she saw some little 'ugly bird' trying to steal their Night flower, Scarlett flew rapidly to pierce and beat the 'ugly bird'.

Scarlett parrot Illi, which cause Illi to chuckle.

She sqeeze out the blood in a cylinder and throw the scared stiff chick away like a rag doll after the dees was done.

It dare not move the moment Illi grab the cuff of her neck.

Only when it master came running and hug it, it petrified heart calm down a bit. But it will be traumatised for a long a time.

The red hair glance intently at Illi and her only four but indomitable subordinate dissapearing back.

Once Illi reached the place of Eli hiding place, she was immediately hug by the white hair little girl.

From the moment Angelus and Lillith became part of Illi lab/ roommates, she feel that the little cub became a bit sticky and also started becoming clingy.

Illi put it all to the fact that the child started to acknowledge her as a parent figure.

Illi hum a strange tune all day giving an eerie goosebump for the people in the nocturnus, she was immerse in her bubbling joy and happiness.

He clutch his throat and finally hum in annoyance.

It was broken down in three eccentuation.

He quickly got up and run towards another inner room of the lab.

The person inside the room was not sleeping so she got up and open the door.

"Why aren't you yet sleeping?"

Illi ruffled the child messy hair while questioning but her hand was caught in a tight grip.

The child slowly open his mouth and a broken static record like voice finally came out of his mouth.

"I.l.li" the sound more of a solemn vow.

Illi blink her eyes and then a happy smile bloom on her face.

"You can finally speak, congratulation Little cub"

"I....n.ot Cub, m.y n.a.me F.o.r.t.i.s"

He spoke with difficulty but still look intently at Illi giving a bit of overwhelming feeling.

"Yes, Fortis. A beautiful name meaning Strong"

Illi smile slightly.

Fortis open his eyes wide.
