Slander!

"What're you doing?" Link asked loudly. He had his guard down which led him to not even notice them until it was too late. He waited for a response but none of them spoke. Bows, swords, spears, some formed fireballs and other elemental spells were prepared and still, all aimed at him.

"Identify yourself and state your business" A voice spoke out of nowhere again. Link still incapable of figuring out its source. The voice sounded altered and even if Link detected the Mana used for the spell, he couldn't find the source with all the people around.

"I was accidentally teleported into Rockhill Village, so I'm trying to get back home" Link answered. He was not gonna tell these people the whole truth, but he felt like their reaction was understandable.

Link concluded that they must have been preparing to fight against whatever or whomever did that to the village back there. He came from that direction so their hostility is not surprising.

"I said Identify yourself and state your business" The voice ordered.

"I came here to purchase a map and some resources so i can get on moving again" Link said "and for my identity, i would say it is none of your business"

After saying what he said, Link noticed the people around him got a bit agitated. They lifted their weapons higher and were prepared to attack, so he activated all his speed skills and got ready to Blink out of there if need be.

"If you do not wish to identify yourself, then you are not welcome into our city" The voice spoke. This time, Link has been using his Psight and trying his best to find its source, but all he could figure out was that the voice came from someone in the crowd.

"I've been traveling for a while now, I need a map and more resources" Link spoke with a frown. "I hold no hostility and I understand why you people are doing this, but I myself will not just walk away. I will get what i need" Link started to get pissed off. He understood, but he was not the patient type. Link was fully prepared to fight, even kill all of these people just to get his maps and other things.

"And how do you think you're going to do that?" The voice asked "I might not be able to detect your Level, but seeing that you walked or ran here and did not fly, I'm sure you're still a Level 4. There's over 50 people here, are you sure you can win?"

"We can try if you wish!" Link spoke threateningly. He did not care about any of these people or their business. But he will not attack first and wait for them to make the first move.

"I can't take this anymore!" A different voice spoke this time. A bald muscular man came out of the crowd and walked towards Link. With a quick look, Link could sense he was nearing Level 4, just dangling his feet on the edge.

"Even if you are a Level 4, I don't think you're a big deal. I'll kill you and make it as painful as possible" The man said, unsheathing his giant axe as fire erupted from it.

Link's Psight was still on, and he noticed the smirks and smiles on the people's faces. Some even cheered. "They're really about to kill me because of a misunderstanding?" Link thought. "Whatever then!" He muttered under his breath. "I wanted to test this out anyways!"

"Soul Burst!" Link muttered, activating a skill. He had confidence in his Mana. Link was sure that if he even used the skill on someone of the same Level as himself, he would still win.

The bald man took a step forward as he emanated some impressive Mana from his body. His foot left a small imprint on the ground as he lifted his axe with shocking speed, about to drop it onto Link.

BLERGH!

Suddenly, the man started bleeding in liters from his mouth, eyes and nose. Wounds started appearing on his body as his skin and flash started peeling away like an orange. Then suddenly, he burst. Like a balloon being popped.

Blood and gore went everywhere. The crowd took several steps back, ruining their formation.

The bald man was quite famous in the city. He held a high rank in the adventurer's guild and was quite famous for his strength and sturdiness. People would rather fight anyone else but him. Or so they thought.

"OH MY GOD!" A woman screamed, causing the rest to do the same.

"BY THE GODS, WHAT HAPPENED??"

"FED IS DEAD?"

"A MONSTER!"

Link looked at them mockingly. He no longer had the angry or annoyed look on his face anymore. "These people are warriors and adventurers. How can they be this weak?" Link said, looking at the few people vomiting. "Protecting the city my ass!" Link said this a bit loudly, making a few of the people around hear it. But they did not react, fearing what happened to Fed would happen to them as well.

Link looked around a bit before speaking to a specific someone. "There you are!" He smiled.

A woman dressed in a light leather armor with a bow on her back stood there. She was calmer than the rest but not calm enough. Seeing this, Link knew she was the person that spoke to him. The owner of the voice. A leader should always be more collected and experienced than the rest, and considering the Mana he sensed before from the voice was radiating from her, he was sure.

"Like i said" Link spoke while looking at her "I hold no hostility. But i will defend myself, even if i have to kill all of you"

The woman froze. Her feet became weak like jelly as she felt the dominating feeling coming from Link. She felt like she was speaking with an ancient beast from the tales as she couldn't even mutter a single word and just nodded.

"It worked!" Link thought to himself, deactivating the Intimidation Skill. He ignored everyone and just started walking towards the city, entering the gate without any resistance.

The city was nothing to speak of, just the usual stores here and there with a few inns and houses. Link walked straight into a shop, purchasing all the maps they had of the region before going to another and buying food and camping equipment. Link hated having to sleep in the open like that everyday and was happy to finally be able to avoid it.

After buying all he needed, Link headed to an Inn. Ate a warm meal before going to bed. He slept like a baby, falling asleep instantly.

In the morning. Link awoke feeling refreshed. He walked out of the Inn, only to be greeted with odd looks. He didn't understand the reason for this and to be honest Link did not care in the least. He was leaving the city today anyways.

Walking out to the streets. Link found them empty, more than usual. He started walking towards the gate and was about to reach it when he sensed an arrow fly towards him from behind, aimed straight at his head.

Wosh!

Link moved his head to the left, avoiding it with ease. He turned and looked at the person that shot it, finding the same woman from yesterday.

"What're you doing?" He asked.

"Is that him?" A blond man that was standing beside her asked, looking at Link with contempt.

"What is this now?" Link sighed "I said i'll rest, buy what i need then leave. You fuckers really wanna do this?" He said with annoyance. Seeing the way these people were acting, he knew what was about to happen.

There was the woman from yesterday with the same armor on, a blond man wearing a swordsman iron armor with a long sword to his side and a what looked like a mage in his robe with a beard standing behind the two.

"You attacked our city and killed one of our people" The blond man spoke "As the commander of the guards, i order you to surrender and hand over your weapons and storage ring then await for your punishment"

Hearing this, Link started laughing. "You people attacked me first. I only wanted to stock up and rest before leaving but none of you wanted to listen. I only defended myself" Link yelled back.

"Surrender and you'll be fairly judged" The blond man spoke back.

"Fairly judged?" Link smiled "Bullshit"

"You've forced my hand, kid" The blond knight pulled out his sword and vanished from his spot. Appearing again right next to Link.

"Was that teleportation?" Link thought as he dodged the continuous swings. He already Activated all his speed skills the moment he saw the three, so even with the mind blowing speed the man was moving in, he didn't even get close. "I can sense he's at Level 4, but this speed is still too much" Link was confused. He put most of his Status Points into Agility and had all his speed boosting skills on and the man was close to reaching his speed.

Bam!

Link dodged a sword slash to the right and twisted his body, sending a devastating kick to the man's side.

Stabbing his sword in the ground, the man was able to stop himself right before slamming into a building. He looked up at Link and then down at his armor, seeing an obvious dent on it.

"This is a Level 5 armor I paid a fortune for, who is this kid?" The man thought, staring at Link.

"You people are being unreasonable" Link spoke "That day i tried to explain i meant no harm, but i was attacked by that bald man, i only defended myself, and i will keep doing so"

The blond knight frowned and looked over his shoulder back at the woman "Sylvie, you said he attacked the city and killed Fed for no reason, what is the meaning of this?" He asked.

"He is lying Sir Dan, that is indeed what happened" Sylvie answered quickly "He's lying after seeing your skills and he's trying to fool you"

"I'm lying?" Link frowned. "Did this bitch really just do that?" Link thought.

"Is that so" Dan spoke, standing back up and looking towards Link. "You'll be judged for your actions young man"

"Bro, are you retarded?" Link spoke loudly. "I don't need to fucking lie" He said, summoning his daggers and taking an intimidating fighting stance. "If you're that much of an idiot then i'm left with no choice but to fight back"

Like a dragon amidst sheep. Link's aura increased. His immense Mana filled the air as the suffocating feeling dropped on the three. His eyes shone yellow while his pupils became thinner, forming a slit like a Viper..

"This should be a good warm up" Link said "come at me bitch!!"
