Evil Angel

Morgana surged out of the fortress, after her new prey like a furious gale. The forest, the dim lights, the endless dark trees, the echoes of monsters, all were welcoming sights to her senses. She knew this playground like the breath of her wings and as she swept through the trees, it wasn't long before she located what she was looking for.

The squadron of scorpions hadn't left the fortress for too long, but already they were facing off against monsters. Morgana could feel the clang of battle even before she arrived, her strong wings racing through the trees to get there as quickly as possible.

However, she slowed her approach when she spotted a familiar face peering through the trees.

It was a monster centipede she'd faced before, a bloodthirsty, unusually devious type that rarely travelled alone.
