chapter three: First encounter with the scumbag

After lunch Rozinah left to her room under the pretext that she needed rest . She wanted to talk to Lily so she signaled Lily to follow her to her room. She had come to understand she needed help in this fight. After she left, Amanda and her daughter Joyce looked at Mr. Johnson eagerly.

Mr.Johnson understood and said, " I met with Ethan today and talked about his family's engagement with our family. He told me that he was already aware as he had been briefed by his father. He will be here for a visit later. I already told him about Rozinah . After he visits it's up to you two to follow up with the plan."

Joyce was overjoyed as she said," You know I have always loved Ethan . I am ready to do anything to have him. I will make sure to get him into our plan."

"Don't worry he seems to be in hurry to prove himself to his father who doesn't believe in him. He wouldn't want to miss this opportunity to let his father choose him over his elder brother to inherit the family business. I will give you tips and help whenever need be." Joyce mom said.

They had taken their time in choosing a fiance for Rozinah for their plan to manifest. And there was no room for failure as their company depended on it. Although they knew Rozinah's uncle,Richard won't be easy to deal with but as long as Rozinah was on their side,he won't have a way to stop them. They had already seen success not knowing Rozinah had been reborn.

Rozinah looked at Lily and started crying. She had been so stupid not to see her efforts in enlightening her about her enemies whom she considered family.

"I now know the truth Lily, I won't be stupid and fail to protect my mother's legacy." She said.

Lily was shocked," How did you find out their plan?"she asked.

"I started suspecting them and investigated after Joyce pushed me down the stairs in an attempt to make me a vegetable or lame." She lied and said partly the truth. Joyce had pushed her down even in the previous life with the same motive. But in both lives she didn't succeed. How could she tell Lily she was reborn. She would seem as a joke.

"I want to fight them and only you can help me Lily. I can only trust you in this house as you worked with my mother." She added

"I will always help you young madam." Lily said

"I am like your daughter Lily call me Rozinahv and I truly appreciate your help in this matter. I will tell you the plan later and I also need to know more about my mother from you . For now go back to work to avoid suspicion.I will pretend to be as before not to let them suspect anything."She said to Lily

"Okay Rozinah my dear." Lily said and left the room.

Rozinah was left to freshen up and wait for dinner later .

In the evening, Rozinah left early for dinner. As she remembered that after recovering from the fall in the previous life, she was introduced to her so called fiance and she had fallen foolishly in love with the scumbag. But in this life she would rearrange her destiny by herself. Everything was in her hands. As she was sitting there modestly dressed, she saw Joyce overdressed coming over. At the same time, the doorbell started ringing. Joyce ran to open the door in her sexy dress and high heels. Rozinah chuckled softly as she waited to see if Ethan looked the same in this life. Or the projectory inb this life had changed. As she was lost in thought, she had the same voice and the same words as in her previous life.

"Hello beautiful, am Ethan and you?

"She is Rozinah and am her sister Joyce as I introduced myself at the door." Joyce answered Ethan as she pointed for him to sit on the couch.

"You are welcome Mr . Ethan." Rozinah said perfunctorily.

The scumbag had arrived, he just smiled not knowing his true intentions were already known by Rozinah.
