Rebirth of a Killer

What if a man who has killed 5000 people and who has never been caught by the authorities, reincarnates into a world full of other reincarnated people, new species, new continents, and just in general a whole new world which is bigger than earth, a lot bigger something he couldn't fantom or any other human for fact. What will the most famous killer of the 21st century do in this new world? This is my second novel, my first novel is called the knight of war. I'm still a beginner so If you want to leave a comment on how I can improve my writing or anything else, pls do. I've changed the genre as I have first put it as an action novel(which it certainly is) : but if you search the book up it comes up as an action: martial art novel, which it is not, so I've changed the genre to fantasy.

Blending in

Smith eventually entered the city at night when most of the Paraginions were inside of their house.

There were some guards but they didn't give Smith a second look as he was a Paraginion or at least looked like one.

Smith quickly searched for a place where he could stay, after some time he found an abandoned house.

Or atleast he thought it was abandoned, as it looked really worn down.

But as soon as he entered the house he felt the presence of a very weak beast.

He looked around and saw an old paraginion rollod up in a blanket.

...

The old paraginion suddenly woke up as he felt the ground vibrating. He looked up at the thing that had entered his house.

There he saw an other paraginion standing over him and just looking at him.

-"who are you and what are you doing here?"- he said.

The other paraginion just looked at him and said something in a human tongue. "I don't understand what you are trying to say."

"huh, why are you talking in human tongue?"

"because I don't know the other language"

"well okay that's not really my problem but I'll ask it again, who are you and what are you doing here?"

"my name is Michael and I just entered this city, I was trying to look for a place where I could sleep."

...

Smith could see the old paraginion taking a big breath," my name is Tirus, and if it's really you're first time in this city you can stay here for the night."

Smith just nodded and made himself comfortable.

...

The next day Tirus woke up and looked at Michael.

"so from where are you? , as you seem to not know our common tongue." Tirus asked

"I have no idea, I used to live in a small house not that far away from a big forest but after my companions died I started to travel and now I'm here."

Tirus looked at Michael trying to detect any lies, but Michael didn't sound weird or anything while he was speaking, so Tirus trusted him.

" well you're a fellow paraginion so I should teach you our tongue, as speaking the human tongue here is very disrespectful."

So Smith started to learn the language of the Paraginions.

After a month and a half he could fluently speak and read the language, as the old Paraginion had a few books laying around his old house.

Tirus was actually very surprised by how fast he had learned it and even praised him for his brain.

Smith had also learned how to trade and gather food here as Tirus couldn't leave his house because of his old age.

He was actually almost at the point of dieing, but the sand worms that Smith had caught had saved him from stepping through death's door.

Obviously Smith wanted to fully blend in so he had to find a job or some work he could do.

So he asked Tirus if he knew where he could work. Tirus then directed him to the tower in the middle of the city which was actually an Elites housing space.

Three elites lived inside of the tower and Tirus had actually worked there as a book cleaner.

There was a huge library inside of the tower, all the books in there were copies of the main library in their Capital.

But Smith didn't care that they were copies if he wanted any type of high level information he had to get inside of that tower.

So he used Tirus name to try to get in, this didn't work.

He first had to prove himself before he could try to work inside of the tower.

So after two months of doing boring and useless jobs he finally got a job inside of the tower, he had to keep the books clean and had to place the books back that weren't being used anymore by paraginions who had just returned them.

Smith then started to read most of the books as not all of them were usefull. Most of the books were actually fiction which he found quite surprising as he had expected a lot of history books, but it was actually just the same as when he had studied with Rudeus.

There was some knowledge on the other parts of the world, and some legends about the other species but nothing super interesting.

It was like the history of these places were lost to time.

And when he tried to search for books on the death stripe, he couldn't find any of them and he also wouldn't try to ask any of the elites if they knew about the death stripe, as it would seem suspicious or weird.

But he still gained a few things, the Capital of the Paraginions wasn't that far away from here only around two hundred kilometers to the east.

He also tried to find any information on the wyvren but he didn't seem to find anything.

Smith then stopped looking for more information as it would be a waste of time.

A month later Tirus had died, surprisingly Smith had actually buried the body next to the old man's house, as the old man just stayed here every day so it would be a proper resting place for him.

Smith now took over his home. And started forming more and more connections inside of the city.

The other inhabitants now looked at Smith as he had lived his whole life here, Smith had successfully intigrated inside of the city.
