Interlude 1

A massive floating island left a white trail in its wake as it penetrated the clouds and slowly travelled in the sky.

In the middle of a large throne room was a middle-aged man sitting on a massive throne that dwarfed his smaller frame. He had a leg over the other and his face rested on his knuckles causing his shoulder-length blonde hair to sag. The man's green eyes were looking impassively at the four men that were in front of him presenting whatever 'ideas' they thought were appropriate.

The man sadly shook his head, 'How dare they suggest such a plan. Are they intending to disregard what I worked for…"

"SILENCE!"

The man's strong voice travelled across the massive throne room and shook the high ceiling along with the pillars. Shaking, no one dared to utter a single word after that display of full authority.

Seeing their cowardice, the man's state only seemed to get worse. His features became stern as he turned livid. He exploded with fury clear in his tone.
