Rude awakening

Only a few days remain until Eldric reaches ten years of age. A special milestone for the people of the Alabax Kingdom.

During this time, a lot of things happened to him, both good and bad. However, all of that didn't matter at the moment.

The slightly more aged version of Eldric lay on his bed after having a bath following a full day of training and research. As per usual in these last three years.

'Another day.'

Just when he was about to close his eyes, he heard a strong voice.

He sat up in a startle.

*Swoosh*

Eldric strongly clutched the small light dagger that appeared in his hands. With the 'weapon' still in his hands, Eldric  wearily looked around, but couldn't find anyone or anything that could have made that noise.

He heard the same voice yet again, however, it was different this time.
