"I thought camping was really fun but boy was I wrong…" Sera gritted her teeth and angrily bit on a grape. "There were so many gaddamn mosquitoes it made me question why God created them. For what? To annoy people?"
I wanted to tell her that there were no mosquitoes that pestered me, but that would just make her angrier, wouldn't it? She will definitely say it's unfair.
Her light blue eyes landed on me boredly. "Anyway, congrats on being alive. A lot of shit happened so I don't know… be prepared, I guess."
…
How unreliable.
"What happened?"
I forgot to ask about the incident. Turns out, I am the unreliable one.
Sera shrugged. "Oh, nothing much. A lot of people died. My friend almost lost an arm, but he's still alive. I fixed him," her eyes narrowed– "kinda…"
Her lack of soul threw me off that I frowned.
"Why do you sound so apathetic? There were deaths."
