Vegito grinned. His eyes sharpened at Daiko's visage coming ever so closer.
"HAAAAAH!!!" He shouted, charging towards Daiko in his base form. As they clashed, a large shockwave erupted that easily caused a crater to form below the two fighters.
Instantly, a fierce clash of blows begun, causing the surrounding wind to feel like a fierce typhoon of sheer power. As they exchanged numerous blows, Daiko smiling, quickly took charge.
He then, used martial arts from when he was on earth. However, Vegito being a combat genius quickly picked up the strike that was coming. With the punch leaving a crisp sound in the air as he barely dodged the blow, showing off his precognitive capabilities.
"I've got to say, your pretty fast." However, after saying Vegito felt a slight pang of pain on the side of his right cheek. He flew back to check what it was.
Using his thumb, he swiped his cheek. The revelation being a small cut. Surprised, his eyes widened with disbelief.
'He actually grazed me? I'm sure I dodged that blow, even if it was barely...' He thought. His eyes sharpening once again.
'It seems I need to take this fight more seriously... 50% should do.' He charged towards Daiko once more, this time moving multiple times faster than he was before.
"They're! They're so fast!" Bardock commented, only seeing vague afterimages and massive wind pressures from where both collided. The other saiyans were utterly lost at what was happening. To them, they might as well be watching the air itself, air that could produce shockwaves...
"HYAHH!!" Vegito exclaimed, his ferociousness more pronounced this time. His attack pattern being far more aggressive. But as they continued fighting, he realized that Daiko was easily keeping up with him.
'*Tch!...* It seems I have to use all my power...' Vegito thought, his ki flared with a white brilliance, illuminating the area. White sparks of electricity emanating from his figure.
His attacks grew more powerful than before once more. However, Daiko was still keeping up effortlessly!
"I'll tell you this Vegito, if you want to stand even a speck of a chance against me, you'll need to transform." He said smiling. Saying this, he intercepted Vegito's punch, using his momentum to return the strike with double the power.
*BOOM!!!*
"GAAH!" He buckled, winded from the blow. The strike proving to be very effective through his reaction.
"Alright! I'll admit, you are stronger than I anticipated, base to base, but if you think you can take on my super saiyan mode, you're a fool." He said chuckling darkly.
"Let's test that theory, shall we?" Daiko retorted in a cocky tone.
"Fine, have it your way" Vegito said, his ki flared, rising sharply. Soon, a golden luminescence graced the area, and slowly, raven suddenly turned into a brilliant golden hue. Blue electricity flowing from his figure...
"Here I come!" Vegito shouted, his strength and speed over 500-fold1 it was before!
However, Daiko remained unfazed. As Vegito winded up his fist to strike, Daiko surprisingly, stopped the powerful blow with a single finger! Easily, causing a massive shockwave because of the sheer power behind the strike.
"Wha...?" Vegito mumbled. He couldn't believe what was happening.
'He-He stopped my punch... As if he were stopping a child!...'
"...Is that really all you can do?" Daiko said, genuinely disappointed, his face exercising the same words he uttered.
Hearing these words, seemingly struck a chord Vegito thought he didn't have... Through his memories, he saw how Daiko as always one step ahead of everyone. He felt Vegeta's ego crushed multiple times by Daiko. He felt Kakarot's pain of ever wondering if Daiko was a wall he could possibly climb...
"I thought you could give me a challenge. But I was wrong." Daiko said, he then sighed.
"If you want to defuse. Just remove the earrings. I'm leaving." Daiko said, removing his finger. Flying away from Vegito.
'I thought fusion would be more powerful, but this is a little disappointing... At least he was twice as strong as I thought he would be'
"HEY!!!" Vegito shouted, with more anger than he could account for.
"I'M NOT SOME WEAKLING THAT YOU CAN JUST PUSH, ASIDE!!!" Vegito continued, his power growing wildly as the seconds passed. The red clear skies of an already blood-red planet, began shifting into a storm-like blackness...
"I AM VEGITO!!!! THE FUSION OF BOTH OF THE STRONGEST WARRIORS THAT THE UNIVERSE HAS EVER KNOWN!!! BORN FROM BOTH PRODIGIOUS TALENT, AND THE PRINCE OF ALL SAIYANS!!!!" Vegito shouted. Thunder crackled as he finished.
His aura began flaring wildly, his aura began shifting too. Turning from a brilliant golden hue, to a orange like hue...
"AND I WILL BE THE ONE TO DEFEAT YOU, DAIKO!!! SO QUIT HOLDING BACK!!!!!!"
