Chapter 8
Keinichi had his dinner without speaking at all. During their dinner, he sensed that Cacha peeped on him for so many time, but she ducked her head down as soon as he peeked at her. After dinner, they continued their conversation earlier.
"Cacha. what year are you in Uni ?" Mrs Yamaguchi was very curious for a reason.
"third. I still have another year to go"
"What is your plan after graduate ?"
"Don't know yet but I'll start work part time in my area in February" she answered politely.
Keinichi subconsciously tilted his head when he heard his grandmother called her name. When She introduced her self, he thought his ear tricked him "So it's true that her name is Cacha, What a weird name" he sneered inwardly. However, He felt her voice was very pleased to hear. He was stunned with his own mind then he touch his nose and shift his attention to others. His eyes were darker as he saw a couple on the corner "They are the couple who enjoyed free ungrade to presidential. Ah of course they contacted grandpa. Another upgrade soon" His mouth twiched, he had not a good impression about the family.
Cacha who was studying landscape architecture intented to stay in Japan a little bit longer. She really wished to explore more to get inspiration for her project. So, She asked her mother " Mum, can I stay longer in Japan ? I really want to see more garden here for my project"
"Let her stay. we will look after her" Mrs Yamaguchi supported her.
"5 more days please. Mum, I need an idea for my thesis. Dad please " Cacha gave a puppy eyes to her parents.
Keinichi was amused with this girl, she was cute and trouble ome.
" My grandson can help with accomodation and flight ticket. Let her stay here longer, we will help you to look after her. Our other grandson will come home soon, we can help her." Mr Yamaguchi said.
Keinichi twitched, he was sure that the elder intention was to match making The girl with his cousin Mamoru.
"Mum, Please. Double please" Cacha asked.
"Mum, let her stay. She doesn't have anything to do until end of the month anyway" Nick spoke up.
Mrs Feng shook her head helplessly before nodding.
"Yay !!" Cacha exclaimed happily. she rushed to hug her mother and kissed her "You are my best mum in the whole world".
"Do you have any other mum ?" Mrs Feng glared at Cacha.
"No, no. it's only you and it's more than enough" She kissed her mum again.
"Where is my credit ?" Nick asked.
"I love you my brother" She grinned.
Not long, Feng family went to their room one by one. Cacha left as soo as her parents left but, before she left the room, she glanced at Keinichi once more. She had an urge to say something " too many people" she made an excused not to say it and went away.
it was only him and his grandparents left. Mrs Yamaguchi stared for while at her grandson "It's a rare thing you come here. I just wonder what kind of win blow you here". It sound sarcastic but she was glad to see him. They had not meet for a whole year not mention to have conversation. The last time they met was on one of their hotel when Nick and Alice were in Tokyo for their honeymoon.
"Mum called me. She was worry about you since you called uncle for so many time. I need to call her to inform her that you are fine. And I'll be back tomorrow" Keinichi was being very honest.
"Are you traveling from Tokyo to see us ?" Mrs yamaguchi was stunned.
"No. I was in Osaka when she called me"
"Can you just stay here tomorrow and go back to Tokyo on Monday. Feng family wishes to spend their break here, we invite them to stay here for few days.They just arrived this morning and will travel to Tokyo on monday" Mr Yamaguchi took a sip of sake.
"I won't back to Tokyo. I'm going to Sapporo"
"Wait a perfect coincident. They won't travel to Tokyo actually, They will go to Sapporo. You have some clothes here. By the way what did you do to Cacha ? She was very frighten" Grandma Yamaguchi was very corious.
"Nothing. I just walked behind her. she was the one that scare me" He frowned.
The elder laughed until tears flew.
Grandpa Yamaguchi wiped his tear "No way. She is cute girl. She won't do any scary thing".
"ok, Have a rest. Help us to accompany the family tomorrow. Nick is a good man, you met him before. Try to have a conversation with him, He will be a great friend for you, his brother is good as well" Grandma Yamaguchi patted his back.
Keinichi went to his room. He took his old clothes and went to bath. He came out from the bath drying his hair while gave Kuro a call " Bro, I won't be able to spend time with you. I am staying here"
"are your grandparents ok ?
"Save and sound. they have a family friend come here and asked me to accompany them"
"Is there any cute girl there ?" Kuro was serious with his question. He hoped they paper was right.
"Shut up. I need to call my mother now".
Keinichi hung up. After that he called his mother to tell her that the elder were fine.
Cacha used the other bathroom. when she finsihed and walked to back to her room, She saw him talking on the phone. She noticed that no body there and grinned "perfect time". She waited for him to end his call while biting her lips.
Keinichi frowned when he saw her "Are you eavesdropping ?"
She rolled her eyes "I don't understand Japanese. The only words I know are 'Arigato', 'sayonara', 'Ohayo'. If you consider my ability is enough to eavedropping then I am" She walked to her room.
Keinichi twitched, he found out her reaction was somewhow cute. Suddently, Cacha turned her body around and face him. he was in time to put his usual expressionless back "What ?" He asked her coldly.
"Sorry about earlier" She bowed her head and went inside.
