Chapter 23 The Nightmare City

They walk the rest of the way and they were going to the city and then they see that the old man was dead.

He was mug while going to the city and he had been met with more bandits.

"Bless him," Lillen said

"I need to understand something that needs to bring this city into a better place."

Amber looked up and she that there was a gate and the city change on the outskirt of the original one and there was nothing that they could do about that yet.

"We need to get in."

"Okay."

They went toward the gate and there was a line ahead of them and they were looking up at the top of the gate and they were trying not to be seen by any of the guards.

"What is happening?"

"Why are they looking at us like that?" Lillen said

She was hiding behind Amber and she was trying to look at something that isn't there but only toward her eyes.

"What is that?"

She was looking at the sky and he was trying to see about what she sees and it looks like a snowglobe and she turns away and then she looked again and it was her imagination.

"What I saw?"

Amber kept walking and she was at the gate and she was trying to think about what she has seen.

Amber was first and they were trying to figure something out about her and they check for her ID and the machine said, "Cleared."

"You can pass on through."

The police said next.

"Stand still please."

He did the same thing to Lillen and it had said, "Cleared."

"You can pass through."

They both were in and they were trying to figure out where to go and they look around and they had walked forward and they were looking around the city.

"We need to look for something that is not part of the city."

"I understand."

Lillen and Amber had spilt up and they were trying to figure what was that something.

Amber look around and she notices that there was no crime and there were people that were working and there was a little kid that stole some apples and she looks at him but what she sees after was horrifying.

She was looking at something that was getting her nightmares. The little kid was beaten up and stomp on by the people and then the dogs got on him and she wanted to stop it but she couldn't do anything about that.

"What is this place?"

A tear came out of her eyes and she stops and sat down and holding her head and she said, "Where the love? Why is the world feel with so much hate?"

She sees this scene as it was madness.

"This is no place for the wicked and this is no place for the good. They are people that are corrupted and fill with false lies but in return, they are given any wish they want."

Amber was crying and she got up and she was walking around and was looking for Lillen but her vision was burly and she was dizzy and she was trying to control her breath.

"This is madness."

She had different thoughts and she was walking down the road and she met up with Lillen and then she fell in her arms and she was sweating like crazy and she was breathing heavily.

"Don't worry about anything. You will be safe don't worry."

She was holding her tight and she was trying to make sure that she can control her breathing and she was making it to where she can.

Amber was having a bad nightmare.

"No, no, please don't go. I need you. I love you."

"What type of dream is she having?"

Lillen was checking her temperature and she was burning up.

"Come on Amber. Please be fine."

She was sleeping and in her mind, there was nothing but a dark void and the darkness and coldness around her and she was having a nightmare and there above her she sees a snowglobe and she was running away from it.

"No, no. I don't want to keep going."

The white hand of the ghostly figure and she look at it eye to eye and see her dark empty face. It was a mirror image of herself and it was reaching out to her and she was scare and afraid of what is coming after her.

She was looking into a shadow. A dawn shadow that is yet to come and shows her dark desires.

"You want to be love. You want to love by a man. You want to look at by all the guys."

"Shut up!"

"You will bring them to their knees for you. You are selfless. You are what I called a sinful person."

She laughs and she was wondering why she was laughing and she was on her knees and she was trying to keep her feelings in check. She wants to make sure that she feels excited.

"What is happening? Why am I laughing and crying?"

She touches her face and she was freezing in the place she was standing at and it was closed in on her face and she opens her eyes and she that her soul was getting suck out and she was about to die.

"No, I want to live. I want to feel love. I want to see Lillen, Blake, and Danny. I also want to see my family. I want to be happy with them all. I need them."

She had frozen up and she was breaking into pieces and she was gone.

She woke up and she sees that Lillen was right in front of her and she was watching Lillen sleep and she was trying to figure out how she needs to move but she couldn't move.

"Dammit, I can't move."

She tries to get Lillen attention but she couldn't and she was looking around and she sees the ghostly figure in the mirror and she was trying to move back and she was trying to move her body from the ghostly figure and she was trying to make sure that she could move but she was so afraid of what is going to happen if she doesn't move.

"I need to move. I need to move."

It comes closer and she was closing her eyes and then it touches her face and then she screamed.

"Amber, Amber."

She opens her eyes and she was breathing heavily and she was trying to control it but she wants to drink something and she asks for a drink.

She drunk up the water and she was calm but she was shaking.

"I never see her like this before. What did she see?"

"Is she okay?" Nurse said

"Yes, she is okay but I think I should stay with her or else she won't stay calm."

"You can but call me if anything happens to her."

"Okay."

The nurse walked out and Lillen was wondering what can she do about this and she does get the King of Hearts and she needed to use it but she needed to heal her soul and mind but she didn't know what to put on her and to make her have a clear mind.

She thought about it and she realizes that she can use water as it is pure and it can clear the mind but she didn't know how to bend water and so she listens to the sound of her card and there it was a voice.

"Who is this that called upon me?"

"I do but who is this?"

"I am the water dragon god and my name is Kirin."
