Chapter 20

Ivelyn who on the other hand, getting irked by every seconds. After she and Isaac just done with their breakfast, she told him that she would prefer to stay at his penthouse until he finish his work, but Isaac told her that they will head straight to the main house after.

Then, when they reach the company, she had to wait for him fetched his files at his company. Isaac did offer her to take her upstairs instead of waiting inside the car.

However, since she don't want to get involve with his matter or his family's, she refused his offer. If possible, Ivelyn want to keep her identity away from having any attachment with Isaac and his family from public. They were quite well-known legacy in Country S as one of the oldest that stay strong and stable along the times.

And then, when they arrived at the other where he had his meeting, she told him she don't want to go with him but want to wait for him at a nearby café alone. Isaac, then counter her back by saying that he did not really familiar with the surrounding of the company where he rarely come to visit. So, he can be rest assure as long as there is bodyguards that will let him know her whereabouts around the area.

The thing is that she is not a child that need to be watch out for all the time. She had told him and give her words that she won't run or hide but still her brother insisted that she would be under close watch of guards until he finish his meeting.

The other reason he come up with is even more believable than that one. He said that since she is new around here, she will be safer with one who know and understand the area better. The possibility for her lost even lower that if she walks around all alone.

All in all, Isaac talks is just his way to reduce any chance for her disappear from him. Even if she can give him a few more reasons that she want to be alone, he would counter with even more annoying baseless reasoning.

Ivelyn can't understand Isaac way of thought. He should have nothing to worry about as he had her passport and almost her every card that have enough for her to escape from him. He should rest assured enough that she did not has anything with her but phone and his card.

At the end, Ivelyn spend her half of her day unproductively. She rarely spent her time waiting for other. She do all her things accordingly and productively. That is why she reach where she is at very young age.

At that moment of the day, it is a few hours before lunch time, Ivy spend her time in a café that is quite a walk from the company her brother at. Although, she is all alone at the table, actually the guards that watch after her is just a few feet away from her. Their stare can almost make a hole on her body as they hardly take their eyes from her direction.

After finish a piece of strawberry cake and a few pieces of blueberry cheese tarts, Ivelyn sit at the table mindlessly. She had nothing much to do and the scenery from the window of the café does not attract her interest much. She just stare into the space thinking what is she supposed to do since she already arrived there.

Unknowing to her, she had attract a lot of eyes from boys and men inside the café. If only she knew how much her looks added with the lighting from the sunlight effect the other. And then there is one boy who was baffled by their encounter and she had cause the boy's eyes glue to her almost since he reach the counter.

When the wait had reach the end, her phone buzzing with a ringtone she put on. She really don't want to answer it nor want to move from her seat. However, after the ringing stop, one of the guards come for her to let her know they need to leave.

Sigh with a grim face, she stood up from her chair and leave, of course her trails are being followed by the men in black.

She felt suffocated with those big men following her around all the time. Thank god they had conscience and did not follow her into the toilet.

"Will you just drop the idea of let them follow me around. I don't like when people keep take a look at me when I walk at the outside. They make it way too obvious that they are guarding someone." Ivy point at her back and complain as soon as she saw Isaac lean his body on the black car.

She put her hands on her tiny waist as to show that she is serious on not wanting bodyguards surrounding her when she is outside. Her actions shows that she demand him to take the men back and let her have her live with freedom.

Isaac on the other hand, shrugged at Ivy's complain and open the door of the car for Ivy to get inside first. "Let's have the talk inside. We can get into it on the road."

If possible, Isaac don't want to argue with Ivy in public. That is why he asked her to get inside the car first. Other than that, he want to make sure that they will not waste their time on the same place when there is a way for them to fill it wisely.

As soon as Ivy get herself inside of the car, not before she stomping to release her anger to the ground, did Isaac went to the other side. He take his seat while facing his body towards Ivy. He want to see every reaction of her face when he talks.

Isaac take a deep breath before he start his long speech for the girl. He want to know about his thought on why he need to put security around her all the time. If only he can let her that, he would love to have the same for himself.
