Affinities of a Half-Blood, Jennifer Takes Over The Training

"WHAAAAAT!!!!" Leeds roared, "YOU don't get to decide that!"

"I do, I can and I will!" Jennifer shouted back.

"Um… do I get any say in this?" Sky said after he got up.

"NO!!!" They both shouted at him, causing him to shrink away.

"We need him to be a warrior, not some cowardly witch!" Leeds yelled.

There was a pause as Jennifer stared at him, her eyes started to redden. In a few moments her lips started to quiver as struggled to keep herself composed. The silence continued for a few more moments until finally Jennifer said, "If you're such a better teacher then can you tell me his affinity?"

She was met by silence as Leeds grinded his teeth and turned to Sky and stared.

"It's too bad because I've already figured it out but the great 'Tide Caller' couldn't?!?" She reverted back to her old self, "How shameful is that!? Mhmhmh!"

"Don't you ever! Call me that! EVER!" Leeds growled. The water in the river rippled intensely with each word that came out of his mouth.

The water forming his right hand lost form and collapsed onto the dirt below. Slowly he walked towards a large tree, slumped against it and closed his eyes. "I'm not in a mood to teach anymore..."

"As it should be." Jennifer giggled.

"Now… Sweetie… let me explain to you what this disgrace of a man could not." She continued.

"Sweetie…? Just how ancient are you?" Sky mumbled underneath his breath.

"I'm 13, only 13!" Jennifer shouted back, hearing what he had said.

"Oopsie… you're new right… then of course you wouldn't know anything about me." Jennifer straightened herself.

"I am Jennifer Anastasia, daughter of Aphrodite and a demigod." She said with a courteous bow.

"Ah... " Sky suddenly felt awkward, "I… I'm Sky… son of-"

"Ah you don't have to say anything… everyone here already knows who you are… you're kinda famous you know." She interrupted him.

"I see...." Sky mumbled, finding it hard to believe the girl that stood before him was only a year older than him.

"Now then, let's start from the top," The air around Jennifer changed, "Each half-blood is born with a specific affinity, there are five affinities in total."

"They are… Enhancement, Creation, Manipulation, Healing, and Summoning," She raised a finger as she said each name, "Every person's affinity is different and comes in different levels, one-arm over there is a manipulator and I am a creator."

Sky nodded along, this was surprisingly easy for him to understand.

"However, to become a demigod you must master each affinity, that is why so few are able to do it, and even if you do master each affinity, if there is someone who is stronger than you, you still won't become a demigod until they pass away."

"Especially recently, this has led to a lot of 'accidents' happening on the battlefield..." Jennifer said.

"Too many power hungry fools trying to become demigods...." Leeds grumbled from the tree.

"What's so good about being a demigod… other than… you know being strong?" Sky asked.

"The demigods are the commanders of this fort, they decide who to accept, to train… to abandon… who lives where… when and where we go to battle… and who the next target is..." Jennifer explained.

"They are the ones in charge of everything… but even among the demigods there is one person who decides everything… His name is Bahrny, son of Hades and the strongest demigod to live since Capricorn."
