After a quick and short introduction, Mack was taken to the central plaza. To his surprise, the closer he went to the central cave, the more strongly he could sense his mate.
When Mack finally saw the bonfire of that cave, another striking thing caught all his attention: a familiar female was standing near the bonfire. Hearing their steps, that female turned around and faced them. Although he could not see things clearly in the firelight, the scent, the unique electric field and the heat of his mate tattoo were all telling Mack — this is his mate, his lover whom he kept looking for the whole afternoon.

As soon as he figured out the identity of that female, Mack swiftly dashed toward his mate, running across Bai Lu and her mates while screaming his mate's name happily.
"Thank God I didn't lose you, are you all good? I am sorry I didn't recognize this is a wombat tribe and let you walk in this maze alone for a long time..."
