"So according to you, the other champion was given immense abilities that will put him leagues ahead of me but you give me a fruit?" The man asked trying his best to hold his anger

"Sometimes it is best to observe before you speak" The voice said

"So you're telling me, this isn't a fruit?"

"It is and it is not, call it a fruit is nothing but an insult to all celestial objects and items" the voice said

"Then what is it?"

"This is called a Primagen crystal, an agent of life known for its capabilities to forcefully evolve even the most common of organisms to the higher levels of sentience and power"

"Even just a single small chip from it, if used right can't bring the whole of humanity into a new realm of sentience and power" the voice continued

"And?" The man replied as his anger slowly subsided and a smile threatened to appear on his face

"Unlike my opponent, I am limited in my abilities. They can ignore the rules of the host universe but I can't as of yet hence I can only give you this" the voice said as the melon sizrd fruit levitated into the air before him

"Of course, as a gift to my champion, it has been modified to take you to the very limits of power, a human can achieve" The voice continued

"Method of intake" the man replied, satisfied with the gift

Even if this wasn't what he expected, this was far better than nothing. If he was going to be fighting an unknown being with unknown powers then he better have unknown abilities of his own.

"It's a f**king fruit, you can eat it or if you are a junkie or just want a more direct means of intake, you can inject it into your bloodstream... A clean syringe is advised even if it doesn't matter much with the primagen"

"Okay then, this is more than sufficient, what is the task?" He asked

"That is the simple part, dominate as much as you can and at the end of the universe, you will be judged and if necessary face your opponent in combat"

This wasn't part of the agreement, these terms literally triple the difficulty to this mission. If he was only here to gather power and then face the opponent, it would be easier to understand but to conquer here..

"You said that all I need to do was get powerful and face off against the other party's champion and that was all, you never mentioned in anyway that I will have to conquer the universe"

"I never said that, you implied that on your own and also I said you should dominate as much as you can not dominate the entire universe, that is also all on you"

"If so then I need something else, I need information... You can't expect me to conquer a place I know nothing about"

The man didn't say much, he simply held the fruit in hand as he stared into the sky. He could tell that the voice was truly gone, he couldn't feel it's presence anymore.
