After the killer got out of bed, Jay immediately handcuffed him, while Anton pointed his gun at him without blinking.
Even if he isn't a dark entity, he should act carefully to maintain control of the situation. Maybe he was wrong, and it was just a normal human, but the person's actions gave him a bad feeling.
"Sit on the bed and don't make any wrong moves, you hear me?" Jay said it in a threatening voice.
"Wait a moment," Anton said as he approached the man and checked his pockets. After searching, he found the wallet.
"Alright, you can sit."
Anton and Jay looked at the man's ID and confirmed his identity.
"Are you sure you caused all this mess, Mr. Antonio Banderas?" Anton asked, looking at Antonio.
"I don't know," Antonio responded, shaking his hands. Mysteriously, his voice didn't change tone.
The blood, which was evidently not his, covered his entire body. From his mouth to his hands, he was bathed in slightly dried blood.
Anton looked at Antonio again and was sure he was the killer; the cameras did not show anyone else entering this apartment except for the victim and the killer.
"Did you cover it up because you were afraid of seeing a corpse?"
Antonio heard Anton's question and nodded without saying anything. Looking closely, it was clear he was quite confused.
"Then, why did you kill him? You don't remember that either?" Jay asked, intervening in the interrogation.
After hesitating a bit, Antonio said, "I had something like a dream, but..."
Before he continued, Anton asked, "Was it a dream to kill him?"
"He couldn't escape since he was covered in blood. He was thinking of how to get out of this, and the police interrupted. I'm sure that's why he hid."
Anton was doing his job as a detective, but looking at the killer's appearance, something told him it was an anomaly.
The subject was covered in blood, mainly visible in his mouth. Therefore, Anton was sure he had bitten the victim on the neck until he killed him.
In all murders, this is a peculiar way to end a victim's life. No matter how he looked at it, Anton unconsciously associated this case with an anomaly.
To confirm his speculation, he asked the killer while walking around the room, "Where's the weapon? What did you use to kill him in your dream?"
"Right. Without a weapon, the court won't recognize it," Jay said, feeling a headache.
It's normal for the investigation to immediately seek the murder weapon. This way, when the suspect is captured, the court processes the crime and sentences him as quickly as possible.
After a moment of silence, Antonio said, "Well, strangely, I got very thirsty." While speaking, he wiped the blood from his mouth, reinforcing Anton's speculation.
Anton quickly approached and took the handkerchief from Antonio's hands, then carefully opened his mouth, revealing blood-stained teeth.
"Damn bastard, did you bite him?" Anton asked as his thoughts moved quickly, processing the possibility that it wasn't an anomaly.
"Have you taken any new drugs lately?" Jay was doubtful.
"He said it was a 100% legal drug," Antonio said in a low voice.
"I'm sure he meant he wouldn't get caught 100%. Maybe it's a new drug capable of evading certain tests," Jay said, looking at the killer.
"Do you know the name of the person who sold you the drugs? Do you have any left?" Anton asked, a bit relieved. It seemed like it wasn't an anomaly.
"His name was Sandor. I know him well; he's a friend aspiring to become an S.C.S. agent. And about the drugs, I received four and took three pills, but I think I took them all," Antonio replied, trying to remember.
That's the unit where S.C.S. agents work. If he's an aspirant, he's under the special training mentioned earlier.
If Sandor sold those drugs that caused such an effect, it's best to inform the S.C.S. agents as soon as possible.
"Let's stop for now. Have him taken and processed quickly," Anton said as he quickly left the motel.
"Hey, where are you going?" Jay asked, puzzled by Anton's sudden departure.
"Damn it, you guys outside, quickly take him," Jay ordered the police outside as he left the room.
After leaving, he took out his cellphone to inform the S.C.S. agents about the possible drug dealer.
Just as he was about to dial, Anton came out and watched as they put the killer directly into the van. Looking at Jay, he said, "Take it easy with baseball. I don't want you to get injured again."
"I can't get hurt in a game." Jay felt a bit embarrassed.
