Chapter 191: Time to die

Chapter 191: Time to die

Owen's POV

"Last chance! Show your face, you coward!" I yelled.

"Coward? You are the one stalking my family!"

The voice came behind me and I turned around to find a long haired boy glaring at me. I knew who he was instantly.

"Waylen"

I stared at the long haired man in front of me. His demeanor was strangely bland…unreadable and so, was his posture but his eyes were cold, almost freezing and he fixed his eyes on me like I was a piece of outdated equipment he was trying to make sense of, his eyebrows cringe together and at first I thought maybe he was pissed but with each passing second I realized, it wasn't anger…it was curiosity.

"You are a kid" he declared like it was the scientific discovery of the century.

It wasn't the statement I thought he would make.

I don't know why but being called a kid by the boy that stole my life wasn't exactly a compliment or the scowl on my face wouldn't have appeared.
