Chapter 151: Seeing things that aren't there

Emily's POV

"What about your father and Cassie?" I asked Waylen and took away the candy bar he was about to give Xavier.

Both of them weren't happy about it.

I looked out the window as the ride to the private airfield was beginning to feel like eternity when it occurred to me that I should probably know the whereabouts of my parents in law.

"We should have waited for them to come with us, right?" I asked Waylen but he was more occupied in scoring another limo candy for his son who was barely three months old.

I took the candy away for the second time.

"Oh come on! What are you? The fun police?!" He yelled and it made Xavier laugh like he agreed with him.

He was good with them if I can overlook the silly food he was always trying to feed them.

"Candy is not baby appropriate food, dear husband" I told him.
