Chapter 118: Knowing the truth

Chapter 118: Knowing the truth

Waylen's POV

I tried to keep my eyes closed but even that was impossible. Sunny's body was nested very close to mine and she was fast asleep.

It was in the early hours of the morning and I didn't sleep a wink throughout the night.g

The thought of Emily kept me awake….the thought of her alone and terrified kept me from sleep.

I stood up and I made my way outside. There was no reason why I should wake Sunny up with my restlessness. I was already dealing with the guilt of thinking of another woman when I was in bed with her.

I left Sunny's room and I headed for my room but half way there I changed my mind.

I needed space to think and the small room was not going to work for me.

I followed the trail down to the playground instead. It was the perfect location since it was too dark for the children to be there anyway.
