Superboy could be seen gripping the T.V remote as he sat in a chair within the kitchen. Their team's plan was to just leave the remote with the strongest while the other two patrols the surrounding rooms where any entrances could be made. 

'Nothing at the Zeta-Tubes.' Kid Flash's voice speaks within Superboy's mind, causing him to cringe slightly. 

'The Happy Harbor Entrance as well.' Megan's voice is heard this time. 

'This is suspicious...' Superboy communicates. 'It's been 30 minutes and we haven't heard or seen of them.' 

'Wait! Movement at the Zeta-Tubes!' Kid Flash's voice bellows stressfully. 'Never mind.' He retracts. 'It's just Red Tornado.'

"What are you doing here?" Kid Flash asks the red robot, announcing his presence. 

"I'm here to check up on you." Red Tornado turns to face the speedster. "Are you doing fine?" 

Kid Flash frowns with a smile. "Yes?" 

"Then I will be going." Red Tornado turns back around and exits the cave using the Zeta-Tube. 

"What the hell..?" Kid Flash mutters before tensing as something taps his shoulder. Quickly spinning around while creating distance, Kid Flash tenses at the sight. 

"Hello Wally." Beast waves, his tone scary. 

'Guys, I-' His thought communication stops as he felt another tap on his shoulder from behind.

Doing the same as previously, his eyes lock onto another Beast. 

"Hello Wally." Beast 2 waves, his tone even scarier. 

'Guys I ha-' Once more, a tap interrupts him. 'No way.' Tuning around, he spots another Beast. 

"Hey Wally!" The third Beast speaks in a friendly manner. "I don't know if you noticed, but..." He looks at the other two Beasts that surrounded Kid Flash. "...You're fucked, mate." 

'What is it, Wally?!' Superboy's impatient voice booms in Kid Flash's head. 

'I have three Newts surrounding me...' Kid Flash explains. 

'What? Wally this isn't a time for jokes.' Superboy scolds before Megan's voice comes through. 

'He's not joking. I have three Newts surrounding me as well. They rushed through the entrance I was covering, catching me off guard. I have tried reading their minds, but it proved futile as I cannot.'

"Are you talking to the other two right now?" a Beast questions, noticing Kid Flash's laps of concentration. Getting no response, Beast continues talking. "If you are, then do tell them that the games almost over." 

The Beasts rush in on Flash in an instant as the boy speedily dodges their attempts at catching him. "C'mon man. You need to focus." a Beast speaks up from behind Kid Flash as he punches him square in the base of his spine. 

"Ugh." Kid Flash grunts before turning around, wanting to dish the Beast a serving of his fist. 

*Pah* 

Another hit lands on his spine, causing him to kneel down on one knee.

"You're a speedster." One Beast states. "Now use it." 

Kid Flash's eyes widen. Berating himself internally, he speeds behind one of them and kicks him into another one. 

"Yes yes. That's it." The two collapsed Beasts stand up like nothing happened. The three of them walk slowly at the front of him, like cornering a pig. 

"a Pig about to be slaughtered..." One Beast mumbles as Kid Flash starts to run off, only to slip on a layer of ice on the floor. "Right about now." Beast comments as Kid Flash falls onto his back before being knocked out by Aqualad who hid and was slowly making a thin layer of ice on the floor. 

"Nice... oneeee..." The three Beasts slowly dry up before turning into dust.

'Wally! Wally!' Megan speaks through the mental link, trying to get into touch with Kid Flash. She had just been in a fight with three Beasts before they simply turned to dust, confusing her greatly. 

Ignoring her stress, she dashes towards the kitchen, intending to protect the remote. 

---Meanwhile---

"Well well well." Beast speaks as he slowly comes out of the shadows, into Superboy's sight. "It seems it's just the three of us for now." 

Superboy scoffs. "And what are you gonna do? How will you take this?" He raises the remote. "From me?" 

"Oh no no no." Beast wags his finger, clicking his tongue. "You have gravely underestimated me."

"I haven't." Superboy retorts. "You can make clones and you have a long ass tongue." He smiles. "How will that help you?" 

"Wrong again." Beast sighs. "Sea Sponges can make clones and a frog has a long ass tongue. Me? I have this." He lifts his hand, revealing a pill within his grasp. "Checkmate." He chucks it into his mouth, swallowing it instantly. 

"Why are you talking about animals? Is this why you call yourself Beast? Cause you have different abilities from animals?" Superboy questions, putting his guard up. 

"Yep. Wanna know another interesting fact?" Beast asks back, but continues even before Superboy could talk. "Did you know that a Mantis Shrimp can punch at speeds up to 80km/h?" He speaks, slowly walking towards Superboy. "But the question is: What do you get when a human gets that ability?" He raises a question, standing right in front of Superboy. 

"This." 

*Bangbangbangbangbangbangbang*

Multiple punches gets thrown by Beast, each one breaking the sound barrier, as blood sprays through the air. 

"Fuck!" Beast curses loudly as he held up his bloody fists and blow some cold air onto it. 

Superboy stood there, confused, with no scratch at all, although his chest had blood all over it, making the young hero a bit nauseous. 

"Shit man." Beast shakes his hands in pain, although it already healed, he still has some phantom pains. His fists already got destroyed on the first two hits, it just kept healing before the next one. "Hella painful. Anyway... Did you get it?"

Superboy frowns. "Get what?" He asks. 

"Not you." Beast points to the back of Superboy, causing the latter to turn. "Him." 

"Hahaha!" a Laughter echoes through the room as Robin reveals himself, remote in hand. "Of course I did." 

*Boom!*

Aqualad skids to the three's feet after his body got launched through the door. Megan slowly walks in after Aqualad, hands raised, ready for a fight. 

"No need Megan." Beast speaks quickly. "We won." 

They discussed the happenings of the combat game afterwards, pointing out where some went wrong and where some went right, deciding they would do this once every week because of the benefits it brings the team.
