"Bzzzz!!"

The Beedrills swayed their wings strongly in order to blow away the smoke around them, but the smokescreen was dense and it took a long time for all of them to get out of it.

But some of the stronger Beedrills including the queen were able to escape quickly, trying to chase Arthur who was already too far away.

The other Pokemon living in the Beedrill territory saw the group of Beedrills rushing through the forest and didn't dare to come out of their hiding places.

At that moment, Arthur was already quite close to reaching the Gloom territory.

Arthur's eyes widened at the sight of the queen leading a group of Beedrills. He had thought that he had finally gotten away from them, but he was wrong.

Without wasting anymore time, he again started running and even increased his speed to the maximum. His heart felt like it would blow up, but he had no choice other than to run.

"Charmander, use smokescreen again and block their way!" He ordered Charmander who nodded his head and quickly fired back a smokescreen at them.

Thick smoke came out of Charmander's mouth and rushed towards the Beedrills, but this time, the queen was ready for it.

"Bzzz!!"

Before the smokescreen can do anything, she and the other Beedrills flapped their wings together to blow away the smokescreen.

Seeing that, Arthur cursed in his mind and kept running.

The only way to get away from the Beedrills was to get into the Gloom territory. They won't be able to chase him all the way through there.

'I need to keep going somehow!'

Arthur thought in his mind and brought out a black piece of cloth from his pocket and covered most of his face with it, only revealing two of his eyes.

It was a prevention against the foul odor that Gloom frequently releases when a human is close to them. Arthur can even faint if the odor is strong and this was also the reason why he was always so careful while walking through the Gloom territory.

He can't be too careful with Beedrills chasing him. That's why he brought out the cloth.

With that in set, Arthur decided not to look back and directly rush at the bushes that lead to the Gloom territory.

Seeing his trainer like that, Charmander got anxious and kept attacking the Beedrills with ember and smokescreen.

That also worked out as they were finally able to reach Gloom territory safely, but Arthur didn't stop running even after that. He would truly be safe only if he reached the center of the territory.

At the same time, the Beedrills also reached the entrance of the Gloom territory and they eventually needed to stop.

"Bzzz!" One of the Beedrills besides the queen made a worried noise, asking whether they should continue chasing Arthur or not.

After all, it can even start a territory war if they entered the territory of Gloom like this. In the first place, Beedrills and Gloom are enemies and they avoid each other.

Arthur had killed many Kakunas and Weedles that were the future of the territory. She can't let him get away no matter what.

"Bzzzz!!" The queen roared and without waiting for a response, she entered the territory of Gloom. Seeing this, her subordinates were bewildered, but they had no choice other than to follow her.

'Fuck! They are still after me!'

Arthur cursed when he saw that the Beedrills were still after him, but he didn't panic too much this time.

He had already considered this possibility before and he very well knew that the Glooms won't let the Beedrills be in their territory. Sooner or later, both of them will get into a fight.

And that would be his chance to get away.

"Gloom!"

Like Arthur had thought, the Glooms were alarmed when the Beedrills suddenly appeared in their territory.

In a matter of seconds, they quickly informed the leader of the territory, the head Vileplume. After hearing about the Beedrills, Vileplume quickly ordered Glooms to block their path and not let them get away.

Just like that, a fight between the Glooms and the Beedrill started while Arthur quickly made his way through the territory.
