No Truck-kun! Instead Aeroplane-kun helps our main character transmigrate in the beautiful world of Pokemon! But… the world of Pokemon is freaking dangerous! Follow the story of Orion and join him on the journey as he tours the world of pokemon while building the best team and battling against tough opponents while surviving numerous disasters. What to expect : 1. Smart and Consistent MC. 2. No Plot holes (hopefully). 3. An original story (I won't be following any canon storylines). 4. Lots of new characters. 5. Smart/Cunning side characters. 6. Chaotic and intense battles (I'll do my best. I'll need a lot of suggestions and constructive criticism to improve the battles). 7. No System. WARNING : 1. The world is dark. There will be a lot of deaths, killing and perhaps even gore (though I'll keep gore to a minimum and avoid using it when not necessary). 2. No Harem, No Lemons, No Pokephilia! 3. The MC isn't kind hearted and passionate like Shounen MCs. On the contrary, he will grow to be very ruthless to survive in this world. 4. The story will start slow. It will pick up pace after Orion begins his journey (I'll keep you updated about this). 5. I haven't seen the latest seasons. So you may not see many pokemons from Generation 8 and 9. 6. The world is an AU. Though many characters are the same, their teams and personalities could be slightly altered. 7. The MC won't become the best pokemon trainer in a short time. Though the story will revolve around him, the world will not. So don't expect him to receive much special treatment or gifts from every gym leader/champion/legendary pokemon. His struggles will be real. 8. There will be a lot of Monologues at the start of the story (especially in chp 3 and 4. Feel free to skip those if you aren't a fan of monologues). But later on it will be much less. If the above is what you are looking for in a fanfic, welcome on the journey :-) Disclaimer : I don't own Pokemon or its characters (except the original characters I create). The image used in the cover doesn't belong to me.
Orion decided, 'Rhydon and Kadabra don't need TMs right now as their current moves are good enough. I'll just buy the two for Machoke and have them focus on those two moves. That will leave me enough money for Machoke's food.
As for my plan, I'll implement it a month or two before it's time to set off. That will ensure that I have enough funds for my journey. It'll also be a good opportunity to learn more about how wild Pokemons behave, what ticks them off and what I should never do while on a journey.
After all, there are no Elite wild Pokemons around the Saffron City as they are hunted down by Elite Trainers who are responsible for the protection of the city. That won't be the case while I am travelling through forests. I'll need to be several times more careful than I am now.'
Having made his decision, Orion put his plans in place immediately. He bought the Close Combat and Focus Blast TMs for Machoke. It used up 150 thousand Pokecoins, nearly half of his remaining money, but Orion was fine with it.
Orion had Machoke focus on those two moves and continued his grind with passion. His passion affected his Pokemons as well as they gave their all to getting stronger.
Six months later, Orion and his three Pokemons were hiding among the bushes. They carefully observed their targets. After observing sufficiently, Orion softly asked, "Are you guys ready?"
All his Pokemon nodded. Orion said, "Good. We move ahead as planned. Machop, remove your Macho Brace. You'll need to be at your maximum speed. Use Focus Energy a few times as well.
Rhydon, you'll need to be extremely quick. Use Rock Polish thrice. Also, give me your Hard Stone and take this Soft Sand.
Kadabra, be sharp. You'll be the one providing support to Rhydon."
Kadabra nodded. Rhydon and Machoke immediately prepared themselves. Machoke removed the Macho Brace and gave it to Orion while Rhydon gave his Hard Stone and instead accepted Soft Sand.
As for how Orion was able to buy these items, it was just his luck. Orion had decided against taking more risks until his Pokemons were sufficiently strong. However, a month into the grind, Orion came across another 3-way war in the wild.
He couldn't give up on such a fortunate opportunity and plundered one of the colonies before retreating. The loot was quite good as well. He was able to buy a Macho Brace, Soft Sand and Hard Stone with the money. He also bought Earthquake TM for Rhydon and six months of food supply for Machoke and still had over 200 thousand Pokecoins remaining.
Seeing that his Pokemons were ready, Orion commanded, "Kadabra, freeze those three with Confusion. Rhydon, kill them with Drill Run. Don't cause any other injury. Machoke, keep an eye out to see if anyone is seeing this."
His Pokemons immediately got into action. Around 25 meters from the bush were 3 unsuspecting Geodudes. Suddenly, they froze. No matter how much they tried, they couldn't move their bodies. To their horror, they saw a massive Rhydon running towards them with a spinning horn on his head.
Rhydon jabbed his horn into the Geodudes one by one and killed them all. Orion immediately called Rhydon back into the Heavy Ball and softly said, "Kadabra, cover up Rhydon's footmarks and teleport us."
Kadabra used confusion to move the soil and cover up the footmarks Rhydon left. Soon after, he teleported them into a sealed underground room a couple of hundred meters away.
After checking that no one was around, Kadabra teleported the group above the ground. They quickly hid behind bushes. A few Doduos appeared in their sight. Orion called out Rhydon and said, "Kadabra, freeze them. Rhydon, kill them with Rock Blast. Kadabra, teleport us again once he is done."
Kadabra froze the Doduos using Confusion and Rhydon immediately fired a couple of rounds of Rock Blast, killing 7 young Doduo, before the group escaped again.
Orion continued attacking in this manner. In 3 hours, he killed around 23 Geodudes, 4 Gravelers, 34 Doduos and 1 Dodrio!
By that time, the two colonies that were extremely close to each other had begun finding the dead bodies. When they found a few bodies, they didn't mind as such deaths were very common. However, after realizing that such a high number of them had been killed, both groups were extremely enraged.
Outside the Dodrio hive, 18 Dodrios appeared. The strongest Dodrio was at level 43! He inspected the wounds and immediately realized that they had been killed by rocks.
All three heads gave out a loud and shrill cry, "Tri-tri-tri-o!" (Those giant oafs have gone and done it! Do they think they stand a chance against us just because they have an advantage over us? We will show those stupid brain-dead rocks their place!)
Hearing his loud cry, the remaining Dodrio and Duduo also began sounding their battle cry.
Meanwhile, some distance away from them, the Golems found the dead bodies of the Geodudes and Gravelers and noticed their wounds. Seeing the shape of the wounds, the Golems immediately thought that they were killed by Dodrio's Drill Peck!
"GOLEEEM!" (Those damn bird brains have gone and done it! To think that we were merciful and let them create their nest next to our mountain. Follow me! Today we will crush those little chickens!)
Immediately, the Golem colony roared. Hundreds of Geodudes, Gravelers and Golems began rolling down the hill like a landslide and moving towards the Dodrio nest next to their hill!
Around the same time, hundreds of Dodrios and Doduos began rushing towards the hill at an incredible speed. Both the groups saw each other and thought that the other group was declaring an all-out war on them! They roared even more loudly and rushed to finish their enemies for good!
Unknown to both of those groups, a human and three Pokemons were watching their move with a glint in their eyes. Orion and his Pokemons began licking their lips thinking of the valuables they would get their hands on this time.
