Hey look, it's a chapter!
No this fanfic is not dead. I've been focused on A Gamer Into Trails these last few months, along with another few fanfic I recently released.
I now have a new posting schedule. I will be revisiting my other couple of fanfics. I'm posting this chapter on Sunday, but you will see chapters get posted for A Reincarnated Tale: Pokemon on Friday/Saturday.
Currently, my posting schedule is:
Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday: A Frost Demon In DBZ

Friday/Saturday: A Reincarnated Tale: Pokemon
Please use some of those power stones so others know I'm back to updating this fanfic again!
This chapter is mostly about Itsuki's, Serena's, and Lillie's updated Pokemon roster. I do hope you all like it!

Some time had passed since we started going over the new Pokemon we caught in the Safari Zone back in Fuschia. On top of that, we had a look at all of the Pokemon we had trained during the time we spent travelling from Celadon to Fuschia. We did meet quite a few trainers along the way during that long and lengthy cycling road, and challenged most of them to ready ourselves for the next gym battle we have against Koga. Koga is known to have beaten many rookies during his career as a gym leader, causing a trainer's journey to be over right then and there. The latter half of Kanto was no joke. We made sure to get all of our preparations out of the way so we can have a successful gym battle against Koga.
I still couldn't help but suck in a cold breath of air seeing how much we have progressed during that time. Along with our new additions of Pokemon, some have even evolved. Starting from the Pokemon that I had, my newly caught Pokemon were Feebas, Snorlax, and Water Paldean Tauros. They were freshly caught and would need time to train to partake in future Pokemon battles, since they haven't seen any battling yet. Powerful Pokemon like Snorlax could definitely be used right off the bat, but it likes to laze around a lot. It would definitely take some time to get this Snorlax in a serious mode for battling.
Apart from the new Pokemon I caught in the Safari Zone, it was Serena's turn to go over her Pokemon next. Serena was able to catch the main prize she had her eyes on during the whole trip, which was that Shiny Tauros. Additionally, she managed to find one of the best support Pokemon that can be used in group battles, a Chansey. She also found a Miltank, but it was definitely topped off by finding a rare Electabuzz.
Migration was definitely a thing here. Lots of Pokemon migrated to be inside a large wildlife zone that was solely meant for Pokemon, even if it wasn't their natural habitat. With knowing that, it was indeed coupled with finding a Magmar, which Lillie ended up catching. Those few Pokemon were what Serena caught so Lillie's turn came last. Minus the icing on the cake which was Electabuzz, Lillie caught the other Paldean Tauros, which was the Fire Breed. She also was able to catch a Kangaskhan, a Heracross, and even a Rhyhorn.
All of these were very powerful Pokemon in their own right, and most either had third stage evolutions or Mega Evolutions to further display their strength. With that being said, they required a lot of training.
Overall, the Safari Zone was quite a hall in terms of newly added additions, for each of us, and that included all of their Pokedex readings. Our list grew a good chunk. It was also a surprise to find out the Safari Zone wasn't just limited to Kanto Pokemon. There were definitely plenty of Pokemon roaming about from Johto and Hoenn regions.
It didn't end there though. Those were only the new Pokemon we caught in the Safari Zone. I will have to make a trip back to Celadon's Market to secure a few items for the Pokemon we've caught, but like I said earlier, a few of our Pokemon successfully evolved during our route training.
Apart from that, we managed to evolve some of our Pokemon. Raphael, my Wartortle, remained Wartortle and I have plans to use Raph against Koga to help it evolve into a Blastoise. Venonat was the first to evolve, becoming a good Pokemon in using various types of status effect moves. Scyther was next. I bought a Metal Coat for it back in Celadon, and it successfully evolved into a Scizor. The Shiny Rowlet I obtained as Lusamine's gift to Lillie for her becoming an independent trainer evolved into a Dartrix. It was now only one stage away from becoming a Decidueye, which I thought was the coolest starter Pokemon from Alola. Aerodactyl received some training, and I managed to secure that Aerodactylite for Aerodactyl. It likes to show its superiority to the other Pokemon we have, but it is definitely going to be a menace while it's in its Mega Evolved form. Speaking of Mega Evolution, I did hear Gramps say that Professor Sycamore does have plans to give Mega Rings to Serena and Lillie, and we are expecting it to come to us through mail sometime soon. It likely won't be ready by the time we battle Koga, but their Mega Rings are definitely on the way.
The remaining Pokemon I've previously had that evolved were Zubat, which had long evolved into a Golbat, and it quickly evolved into its final evolution, Crobat, thanks to its quick rise in happiness it had toward me. The rare Porygon I caught alongside Growlithe evolved into a Porygon2. I bought both an Upgrade and Dubious Disc for it, but only gave Porygon an Upgrade for now. Held items were a thing here apparently, much like how Lillie's Clefairy currently holds the Eviolite. Likewise, I also bought an Eviolite in Celadon, making Porygon2 hold it for now. It is already a powerful Pokemon but holding the Eviolite as a middle stage Pokemon will cause its defenses to soar. And at the very beginning from Celadon, our Eevee eggs hatched, which I evolved mine right away, as did Serena and Lillie to theirs, making my Eevee evolve into a Shiny Sylveon. While we were in Lavender Town where I caught my Gastly in the Pokemon Tower, it quickly evolved into a Haunter. I traded it to Serena to evolve it into a Gengar, and she gave it back to me.
Just like Held Items, trading Pokemon was also a thing in this world. Sure, it may sound annoying and a pain to do, but people loved to trade Pokemon as much as they loved battling with them. It did make traveling alone harder, but it was well worth the price in my opinion. That was it for my new lineup of Pokemon. Going from the beginning, mine was now Amber, my Shiny Alolan Ninetales. Raphael, my Wartortle. Jack, which was Fearow. Shiny Beedrill, which holds the Beedrillite. Venomoth. Scizor. Shiny Dartrix. Aerodactyl with the Aerodactylite, Crobat, Porygon2 with Eviolite, Growlithe, Sylveon, Gengar, Feebas, Snorlax, and Paldean Tauros-W.
This roster of Pokemon was growing quite well if I do say so myself.
Serena's roster was up next. She decided it was time to use her Fire Stone, and evolved Sapphire, her Kantonian Vulpix , into a Ninetales during our stay in our present hotel. Her Shiny Frogadier, which was gifted from Professor Sycamore to start her journey in Kanto, evolved into a Shiny Greninja. I was quite jealous of that Shiny Greninja, as it was one of the coolest looking shiny Pokemon. She was quite surprised to see it. From there, her Shiny Torracat, which was part of Lusamine's gift, evolved into an Incineroar. Her Pinsir gained some experience, and I have secured a Pinsirite for it to Mega Evolve in the future. The only other Pokemon she evolved was Abra. After evolving it into a Kadabra, we traded each other's respectively, causing both to evolve. Mine became Gengar while hers became Alakazam. She still had Honedge, her Shiny Umbreon, and her newly caught Pokemon, Shiny Tauros, Miltank, Chansey, and Electabuzz.
Lillie's turn was last. She still had her Alolan Vulpix, Snowy. She was still a bit adamant in not evolving it, but seeing how we evolved so many Pokemon, she was starting to lean the other way, considering her options. She knew the latter half of the Kanto gyms was coming up fast, and if Snowy remained a Vulpix forever, she may struggle using her. Apart from that, she now had a Nidoqueen, and was given a plethora of TMs used from Celadon's Market. She had her Shiny Butterfree. Her Shiny Popplio, which was given to her by her mother, evolved into a Shiny Brionne, and was very close to evolving into a Shiny Primarina. Fairy types do exist, it was not an unknown typing. Lillie did have interest in using Brionne against Koga to evolve it like I had plans for Raph, but it was a risky move since fairy types were weak to poison. She still had Clefairy holding that Eviolite, but a Moon Stone was ready to evolve it at any time. There was Jolteon next. Lillie evolved her Litwick into a Lampent, and we picked up a Dusk Stone. She wants to use Lampent against Koga, so perhaps she'll evolve it right after. And then, she had her newly caught Pokemon, Paldean Tauros-F, Kangaskhan, Heracross, Magmar, and Rhyhorn.
Lillie's roster was still the weakest of us currently, but it's been quickly improving as of late as she's been gaining confidence in battling others as a trainer. In the anime she even struggled to hold a Pokemon, but no doubt has Lillie come a long way. Serena's roster has been improving steadily, while most of mine are fully evolved now. We will have to pick up more items to match our newly caught Pokemon.
I think we are ready to battle Koga, whose gym battle is coming up in one or two days after our short visit in Viridian City is over.
It was quite a lot to go over, but it was definitely worth it after having a full stomach. I could see Serena's and Lillie's satisfied faces from the lunch I made, as well as me.
"We really did train a lot since we left Celadon, huh? I know there was some hesitation along the way, but I think our current Pokemon are turning out quite well. You still enjoy your Snowy though, huh?', Serena asked as she looked at Lillie.
"Mmmhmm. Snowy is Snowy. We caught her together while Itsuki and I were in Alola. She's been my partner and family just like you are, but I know as trainers, Pokemon gain experience. Sometimes it may even hurt Pokemon if they don't undergo evolution. Coming this far, I realize Snowy is going to struggle.", Lillie said with a serious look in her eyes.
"Well, we'll be there if you do decide to evolve Snowy. Serena steeled herself to evolve Sapphire, and now you only have Snowy left. We won't urge you though, if you feel you want to keep Snowy as a Vulpix, then I'll be for it.", I said, trying to assure Lillie's words.
"Yeah! You decide on what to do with Snowy, Lillie. We're all along for the ride. We were able to evolve quite a few during our trainer battling, I am quite pleased with our results. That Koga's going down.", Serena said, exuding confidence. Hearing this caused Lillie to smile.
"Thank you, you two. I do feel a lot more confident now with my current Pokemon to battle Koga, despite those rumors going around. I will go in fully prepared. There isn't much time left anyway, and training at the last minute doesn't suit Pokemon well. I feel we should give all of our Pokemon a good rest and checkup once we arrive back in Fuschia.
"That is definitely a good idea. We'll do that once we return. It's about 1PM now, and we have plans to head out at 2PM to see Indigo Academy. Perhaps we'll come across Ash and the others there. Liko's flight doesn't land until around 6 or 7PM, so we have a couple hours to spend as we please. I can go make a reservation at Viridian's main bus station. There's a lot of students who travel from Indigo Academy to Viridian on a daily occasion, and I can reserve one of the more luxury buses to see how the countryside is. You two in?", I proposed.
"That sounds splendid. The air is a lot more fresh over there too!", Serena said, happily clapping her hands.
"I don't mind. We have an hour so you should probably go make that call now, Itsuki.", Lillie also said with a nod of her head.
Just like that, we finished going over all of our newly acquired Pokemon, and I went ahead to reserve a bus for us to head over to Indigo Academy, set to depart at 2PM.

This chapter was going to be a lot longer if I showed the rest of the stats and moves, so I kept them off screen.
