Chapter 135: New Pokemon

A few moments later, hot air escaped from the bathroom that we had just come out of. We could now be seen dressed and our hair still slightly damp. Serena and Lillie still had their hair in white towels but they were back in their usual outfits. Serena was in her red blouse and black spats while Lillie was in her one piece white dress.

As for me, I was wearing a casual white shirt and tan pants, with a small Pokeball on the white shirt. I was still tan for having spent a lot of time back when I was studying abroad in Alola with Lillie, so wearing a white shirt over my tan skin gave the look a nice contrast. I didn't have my Professor's robe on either, but it could be seen placed off to the side where the bags currently were.

"That felt awesome. Thanks again for renting this place, Itsuki. That was much better than trying to swim in a public pool, but I wouldn't be against going to one sometime either. I'd love to try out one of those water slides.", Serena said as she continued to dry her hair off.

"Yeah. If we go back to Alola sometime during a break we should definitely try the one we have back home.", Lillie said, also nodding her head. Lillie's cheeks still appeared a bit flushed from the deed we had done earlier, but happiness could be seen in her eyes.

"Oh that will be a must.", Serena said, nodding her head in acknowledgement. After saying that, she looked up and down at Lillie, only to have her eyes land on Lillie's back. A hint of worry appeared in her eyes after we came out of the bath.

"But are you sure you're alright to stand up like this, Lillie? You two did go at it pretty hard back there.", Serena asked with interest. Hearing that, Lillie smiled at Serena.

"Surprisingly, I didn't feel much pain from it. The prep work was done quite well. I don't feel many aches either, so I should be fine to move around at least.", Lillie said, pumping her fists a bit as a form of encouragement.

"That's good to hear. Do take it easy though, okay, Lillie? Serena had to rest for a while, so don't try to push yourself too hard.", I also said, with a hint of worry.

"I think I'll be fine. Thank you for worrying about me, Itsuki, Serena.", Lillie urged us two, saying that she was fine. Yet at this time, we suddenly heard the sound of a stomach grumbling. It was that of an empty stomach. The moment we heard this, it came from Lillie's stomach. Hearing such a thing caused Lillie to blush.

"Haha, I guess it is that time to make lunch, eh? We need to figure out what we need to do for these next few hours too after checking our dex entries. I was actually thinking of paying a visit to the school those three graduated from, since it'll be the same school Liko will be studying abroad at.", I started to say, drawing the two's interest.

"It's that Indigo Academy, right? Back in Pallet Town we did learn that Ash, Gary and Green were able to successfully graduate earlier this year, but we know they won't be starting their journey until next month. We're approaching the end of April now, right?", Lillie asked.

"That's right. That means we have about a month ourselves now to make our trips around Fuchsia, Saffron, Cinnabar Island, and back to Viridian City. According to Gramps, it seems Liko is going to join those three start their journey. But that's not all I heard from him last night. It seems those three still pop in the academy every now and then to hone their battle skills. They all seem to have a partner Pokemon already too. How about we take a peak at Indigo Academy? With any luck we'll catch them there battling the school's students.", I suggested to Serena and Lillie.

"Mmm. We haven't seen 'em since we left for our own journey. I don't see why not, since it'll give us good luck at the campus Liko will be going to as well.", Serena replied with interest as she clapped her hands together.

"Guess that's a plan then. We'll head out to Indigo Academy around two. It is actually out of Viridian City so we'll be able to enjoy the countryside a bit. Gramps said it was about an hour bus ride from Viridian. With that taken into account, that should place us at the campus around three. Should those three be there today, we'll be able to get a practice battle in, and head out around five to the airport. We aren't travelers this time so we just need to make sure we're there before Liko's plane lands.", I said, giving out the travel plan for today.

"That works for me. I say it's time for lunch though!", Serena happily said, remembering Lillie's grumbling. Lillie's grumbling stomach seemed to have persisted, as we heard her stomach growl again. Though this time it seemed a bit more fierce.

"Ohh...", Lillie tried to hold in her stomach, only to place her hands over her belly, feeling a bit uncomfortable. Serena blinked at Lillie's reaction this time, only to smile before she started to put her hands on Lillie to push her back into the bathroom.

"I think we got this, Itsuki. You go start lunch, okay? I guess Lillie is having a side effect after all, hehe.", Serena said as the two started to dart to the bathroom again.

"Haha, got it.", I replied, seeing the two quickly shut the bathroom door again.

I was now by myself, so I proceeded toward the kitchen area. It was basically an entire kitchen with everything available to cook whatever what one desired. Since Lillie ended up having a bit of a stomach pain after the fun act we had together, I decided to make something smooth and nourishing to help her stomach get back on track. The two spent a while in the bathroom. I knew it would be best not to disturb the two, so I proceeded to cook along.

Before long, a nice aroma of herbs and cooked meat along with some sandwiches wafted around our suite. Even my stomach started to growl a bit, seeing I was hungry now too. As I began to place the food down onto the tables, the bathroom door opened again and Lillie walked out of it, having a satisfied look in her eyes, along with Serena who was behind her.

"Food's just about ready. Feeling better now?", I asked, seeing Lillie's current appearance. She smiled and nodded.

"Much better. That food looks really good too.", Lillie responded seeing our table was now full of food.

"It sure does. I can't wait to dig into it. We can do our dex reading as we eat too.", Serena also happily replied seeing the food presented on the table.

"I'll take out our Pokedexs. Feel free to have as much as you want. The kitchen was full of ingredients to use, so if you two want more, I'll be able to make some more.", I said. I did make a lot during this time, so there should be enough for the three of us. It was quite a lot of food, but since we're enjoying the suite to our fullest, I decided to go all out here as well.

Saying that, the two nodded as I reached for our Pokedexs and handed the two their new Rotom-dex as we began to eat. We haven't really had a proper reading of our newly added Pokemon to our party since we've left. It was a good time to go over the new Pokemon we had caught back in the Pokemon Tower, the Pokemon that we have evolved in our training since then, and the new Pokemon we have just caught back in the Safari Zone.

"I guess I'll do my headings first seeing the two of you already eating like that.", I said to Serena and Lillie. They were already going at the food on the table. They seemed quite hungry since we landed in Viridian last night. They could only nod their heads as they continued to eat.

With that said, I turned on my own Rotom-dex. It was really nice to have a touch screen device in this world. These behaved very similarly to the smart phones in my past life. With a couple taps one could easily navigate to the Pokemon that I have caught and evolved. It also has a separate area to where my items are currently stored, which makes it easy to see that too.

Along with the current features that Gramps told us about, I'm curious to see the extra features, but they'll have to be explored later. Should it be like anything in the anime, it should even be capable of recording videos and livestreaming. I'm not sure how big the internet currently here is, but for people to talk about it already back in the Johto region, it's definitely being used.

Of the features too, I am curious to see if the instant box feature exists here. The Rotom-dex are essentially portable PCs to store one's Pokemon. If this feature isn't a thing yet it may be worth considering bringing it up to Bill next time we come across him.

But for now, I decided to scroll through my list of the Pokemon I have caught and evolved. Since Celadon, we have evolved a few Pokemon as part of our training. Since we have a more solid roster now, our chance of beating Koga should be quite higher now. With a couple taps of the Rotom-dex, I found my first entry.

Serena and Lillie continued to eat as they began to hear the Pokedex's voice call out the Pokemon I had obtained recently.

"Gengar, the Shadow Pokemon. The evolved form of, Haunter. Most of its details are said to be unknown, however its abilities allow it to pass through walls, and can even hide in its own dimension. Gengar likes to absorb warmth, so when it gets cool enough, you may come across a Gengar."

"Tauros, the Bull Pokemon. Regional variant: Aqua Breed. This Pokemon is known to blast water from the holes on the tips of its horns to strike its enemy down. They are fierce enough to be labeled as high-pressured jet streams. It can also swim on water with the same method, allowing it to traverse ponds and lakes with ease. Compared to the other regional Tauros, its body fat is quite high, which allows it to float on water easily."

"Feebas, the Fish Pokemon. Feebas are known to eat anything it can find, it is not a picky eater. Its shabby appearance allows Feebas to live in most aquatic regions where one may not expect a Feebas to be, even in areas that are polluted. Feebas only require little water to survive. And because of its appearance, it is one of the more unpopular Pokemon.

Ability: Swift Swim

"Snorlax, the Sleeping Pokemon. Its typical day only involves eating and sleeping. Its stomach is said to be very strong, and can hold in just about any types of food, causing very little indigestion As soon as Snorlax finishes its meal, it falls asleep. Many people refuse to approach a Snorlax due to how much it eats. It can even strip a full biome clean on an empty stomach."

"Venomoth, the poison moth Pokemon. It is known to be nocturnal. As they hunt in the night, they prey on small insects. Its wings are covered in dust-like scales, allowing it to create a potent toxic cloud each time it flaps its wings. One must be careful around a Venomoth's wings, as one wrong touch could lead to a person becoming paralyzed. "

Known moves: Bug Buzz, Stun Spore, Sleep Powder, Poison Powder, Signal Beam, Energy Ball, U-Turn, Toxic Spikes, Defog, Tailwind. Morning Sun. Sludge Bomb.

Ability: Tinted Lens

"Crobat, the Bat Pokemon. With its four wings, it enables Crobat to fly faster and more quietly. It does have the ability to walk since two of its wings are treated as legs, but Crobat are quite clumsy when they do so. Instead, they like to use their legs to hang on trees and perch on them, waiting for prey to approach it or to rest. One must be wary of its sharp fangs."

"Porygon2 - The Virtual Pokemon. The evolved form of Porygon, after receiving an upgrade with special data installed. It is known to develop itself by learning about many different subjects. It can take in any shape or form of data, as long as it can be installed into its memory. This upgrade was specifically designed for Porygon2 to explore the vacuums of space. While it does have the ability to live it, it unfortunately did not meet the standards of its creators."

Seeing all of this information presented to me, I couldn't help but suck in some cold air. I knew we went on a training spree since we came from Celadon, but it seems most of our Pokemon are in the Level 30 to 40 range. I didn't hesitate to evolve a couple of them either. Feebas specifically currently doesn't know a lot of moves, but what it currently knows are pretty strong moves. Gengar, Crobat, Venomoth and Porygon2 are Pokemon I decided to evolve since our last win at Celadon's gym, and Crobat specifically has a wide variety of move types, so I may use Crobat against Koga. We'll find out once we reach back to Fuchsia.

But as much as I wanted to continue going over the recent Pokemon I had caught, I saw Serena and Lillie were much more stuffed now from today's lunch. It was Serena's turn to go over the Pokemon she had caught...
