Chapter 7

Anna's pov

when I arrived at the cafeteria I saw people struggling to leave the cafeteria not even caring about the life of others I looked around and saw someone lying on the floor i was about to leave the cafeteria when dawn stopped me

" Anna don't go there it will be bad for you"she said to me with worry in her eyes

" I know you are worried but I will be okay let me just help her up" I said to her reassuring her

I got inside the cafeteria and went closer to the girl laying on the floor and tried helping her stand but she couldn't I held her hands and tried supporting her and she was able to stand up I was starting to suffocate not being able to breath properly I took her hands and helped her walk we reached the door of the cafeteria I went outside with the girl

"Mike dawn take her to the clinic" I said to the both of them trying my very best to breathe in oxygen

"Are you sure you're okay" dawn asked me with a worried look

"yeah I am, thanks for your concern" I said to her trying to force a smile

"okay we will be back soon " dawn said to me and left with Mike

I walked up to a seat and sat trying my very best to breathe "strange I don't know why I can't breathe properly"I said to myself and stood up and tried to walk a little bit when I staggered and got caught in the hands of someone's face I couldn't see clearly I tried my best to see the person face but I couldn't because my I was blacked out

As I slowly opened my eyes I saw a pair of brown eyes looking at me I widened my eyes when I realized it was that jerk I tried my best to seat on the bed when my eyes were a little bit clearer

"what the hell are you doing in my room and where is Dawn"I asked him

"I think the fire also affected your brain that you can't even differentiate between a clinic and your room"he said to me.

I looked around and saw that it was not my room but the school clinic I looked at him and asked "where is Dawn and Mike"

" Bad manners you can't apologise for misunderstanding my innocent intentions at least be nice enough to say thank you"he said to shaking his head

"why should I apologise to a jerk like you huh I never asked you to be my knight in a shinning armour okay"I looked at him and replied

"I wonder how you became friends with dawn because obviously no one will want such a friend"he said annoyed by the fact that I didn't thank him

"And when did you become a friend detector huh because you know a lot about who and whom a person should and shouldn't be friends with"I said to him annoyed by the fact that he said am not worthy of being Dawn's friend

Before he could say something dawn and Mike came inside the ward

"I told you it Will be bad for you" dawn said to me with a worried look

" yeah I can't believe the first day we became friends you got hurt"Mike said to me

"Hey am okay just a minor thing okay" I said trying to reassure them that i was okay

"says someone who was struggling to sit on the bed earlier" Alex said to me and stood up

"I wasn't struggling okay I just wanted to sit comfortably"I said to Alex with an angry look

"well I don't care gtg I have few things I have to do"he said to us and walked outside the ward

" As if I care" I said and looked at the wall of the ward trying my very best to get him and his annoyingly handsome face out of my mind

Alex pov

I walked into the principal's office and banged the door

"why was there a fire outbreak in the cafeteria they were lot of people there what if someone had died"I asked him in rage all I felt like doing was grabbing him at his collar and beating to a pulp

" well I don't know how it happened all I know was that they were here"he replied me with a serious look

"How did they get inside the school you are fucking gonna take responsibility of each and everyone's life if something disastrous happens "I said to him

"you need to call them back"he told me with a serious look

"who needs to come back ?" I asked him

"your friends we need them now I sense danger ahead of us they need to come back"he said to me and stood up and left the office

"Why does he need them now I wonder what's going on that old man's head .
