Chapter 9: Blossoming Feelings

Yulie should sue Law. She actually wanted to if only the man didn't look so handsome while working. Yulie stared at Law intently while the older male was checking some papers on his desk. 

Law had actually been serious when he told her that she wouldn't be able to leave his room. They had been doing it until morning and only stopped when they both heard Penguin knocking on Law's bedroom door asking him if he had seen Yulie. The group had returned from their excursion and when Ikkaku found that Yulie wasn't in their room, they panicked and searched for her only to realize that Yulie was with Law in his room.

Law had let Yulie get dressed first before opening the door and was surprised to see the whole crew at his bedroom door. Yulie wanted to explain to the guys but before she could even reach the door, her legs gave way, earning a few grins from the crew who immediately noticed what was going on.

"Leave, this will be her room from now on"

Law had told them before shutting the door on his cheering crowd and scooping Yulie up to lay her on his bed.

And that was how Law's room had become her room too. It had been two days since that and Law had never let her out of his sight which led to their current predicament. The two of them couldn't keep their hands off of each other which made Law's work pile up. Apparently, he was building plans on how to get back at Blackbeard as well as taking notes of what should be repaired or renovated inside his ship. 

Since he was too busy, Yulie was left all alone on his bed for the whole afternoon. When she finally had enough, she stood up from his bed and sat on his study table, hiding Law's stack of paper behind her.. Law raised an eyebrow at her sudden movement.

"'Love"

He called and just like every time he used her new nickname, her heart skipped a beat.

"This is illegal. I feel abandoned"

Yulie pursed her lips only to be laughed at by Law. He placed her bare feet on his lap, his hands moving from her ankle to her legs. 

"We just finished earlier, haven't we? Have you become addicted to it?

Law grinned when he saw how Yulie's face turned the shade of red.

"Tha— THAT WASN'T WHAT I MEANT"

Law let out another chuckle when Yulie pouted her lips and crossed her arms in front of her chest. The fact is Law was the one who couldn't get enough of Yulie. He could feel himself losing all reason whenever he held or embraced Yulie. When he saw her sleeping beside him, he couldn't stop the admiration that was blossoming inside of him. Yulie was beautiful and she was even more enchanting whenever Law saw her beside him. 

Law smiled before standing up from his seat and scooping Yulie up in his arms. Yulie instantly wrapped her legs around Law's waist as he walked over to his bed.

She would never tell him but she loved it when Law treats her with so much care. She had hated it back when she was with Dadan and her brothers but it was different with Law. She didn't hate it for even a tiny bit when he was treating her like a porcelain doll. Somehow it felt different with him.

"Do you dislike that I'm clingy?"

She asked when Law had finally laid her in his bed and laid beside her. Law smiled at her once more and shook his head.

"I'll dislike it if you stopped being one. I don't hate the affection when you're the one giving it"

"It's weird right?"

"What is?"

"The feeling like we both know each other for a very long time now"

Law chuckled at Yulie and nodded. After their love-making session, he and Yulie talked about why Law had avoided her the first time he had kissed her.

He told her how it felt surreal to fall so quickly for a person he had just met for over a week. But then Yulie had told him that her feelings were the same as his.

"This really must have been destiny, like you said"

Law never really believed in Destiny or Fate. But he wanted to thank them for bringing Yulie into his life.

"If the guys hadn't come up with a solution, would you have kept on avoiding me until we reached Elbaf?"

Law asked to which Yulie shyly looked away.

"I would've if you didn't initiate to talk with me"

Somehow, hearing her reply made Law grateful that he had the courage to talk with her that day. He didn't know what to feel if they had parted ways without talking again.

"About me in Elbaf"

"Don't think about it for now love"

Yulie took one look at Law and immediately understood that he didn't want to talk about their parting for now. And she knew the feeling, she nodded at him before hugging him. Law returned her feelings and hugged her tighter.

"Can I do it?"

"No, let me get some rest"

Law chuckled when he heard Yulie's reply. He wasn't a brute, he could wait and he can control himself even if all he wants to do was to bury himself inside of her over and over again like how he had been doing for two days in a row.

Yulie's soft breathing was all Law could hear now. She had fallen asleep in his arms again and he can't help but smile at her image.

Law couldn't believe that this kind of thing was happening to him. He never had a paramour or any sort of lover. He never felt the need to love someone of the opposite gender. And he certainly never felt any sort of feelings for anyone before. It had always just been a one-time event, something like getting his needs out of the way. He had never done it with someone because of his feelings

After Cora-san had died, his life revolved around getting revenge on Doflamingo. When that had been carried out, his life revolved around defeating Kaido and Big Mom. Now, after what had happened with Blackbeard, he wanted revenge again. But that came with a special gift as well.

That incident had brought Yulie into his life and he can't help but feel scared at the fact that he was beginning to fall in love with Yulie.

He knew that once they had reached Elbaf, he needed to part ways with her. Even if not permanently, he would still part ways with her. And just thinking about it now made him want to just tie Yulie up inside his room and never let her out.

But he didn't want to be a jerk. If Yulie doesn't want it then he wouldn't push the thought.

So, his only plan right now. Is to make Yulie want him so much that she'll never be able to live if he wasn't beside her.

He'll make Yulie depend on him like her life was only worth it if he was with her.

He'll make Yulie fall in love with him deeply, she wouldn't even think twice about not leaving them for Elbaf.
