Path to Strength

This is the first book I am posting on this platform, so I ask for patience. My native language is not English, and I am not ashamed to say that I am using the so-called "Best Translator in the World" to help me with this work (DeepL translator). I was really trying to find fanfics that take place in the worlds of Baki, Kengan Ashura or the like, and although I found them, I only came across ones where the character gets supernatural powers that put him above any fighter from these worlds, and that frustrated me. A man needs to see two people fighting using their fists entirely, rather than creating interdimensional portals or something of that sort. So don't expect these kinds of powers here, because here there will just be the old way of solving problems. ---------------------------------------------------- It was a normal day for Yuji, going to school, then to the gym he was attending and finally home. A monotonous, but pleasant routine. There was no cause for pride, much less shame, so for the teenager that was enough. As always, everything was going as it should. That was until the moment when, looking in the mirror, the boy's whole perspective seemed to change. Facing someone who looked like him, but at the same time, was not him, Yuji sees himself in a similar world, but which is certainly not his. Crossover world of animes, including Tokyo Revengers, Baki, Kengan Ashura, Holyland, Hajime no Ippo and others that can easily be included in FF if readers have ideas.

__________Narration_________

In a very spacious room, Akira, Shiki and Osanai were gathered together, the older blond exchanging messages on his phone, while the two teenagers chatted on the bed.

"Yuji hasn't sent a single message since he left on a trip." Shiki spoke, a sigh escaping her lips.

"Really... Just when more problems have arisen, we can't even ask him for help." Akira pinched his nose in clear frustration.

"Uh? I've been busy because of school, so I haven't been very up to date on what's going on, did something bad happen?" Shiki asked, genuine curiosity and concern on his face.

Osanai, who had been out of the conversation for some time, closed his phone when he heard the question, his brow furrowing as he sat down in the chair near the desk of the room.

"Crimes in Shinjuku have increased greatly. Murders, rapes, and robberies. Our gang and the Brahman share the same thoughts , and we believe it's the work of a new criminal organization." Osanai began, his hands wiping his face as a tired expression appeared on his features. "That wouldn't really be a problem, but it has affected us, as some members are being beaten and even... Abused... By these sons of bitches."

Shiki and Akira frowned, them quickly pushing aside the dark thoughts that were settling in their minds.

"Since the arrival of this boy, Ryo Narushima, the problems have only increased, since he was responsible for beating up some members of our divisions and even participated in some of the work of this organization." Osanai gritted his teeth, his eyes glinting dangerously as he clenched his fingers into a fist. "This city is rotten enough as it is... Adding more scum just makes things worse."

Shiki, who heard the name mentioned by the blond, squinted his eyes in confusion, the feeling that he knew the name from somewhere permeating his mind, this not going unnoticed by Akira, who put a hand on his shoulder, drawing his attention.

"Ryo Narushima is the boy who murdered his parents two years ago. It was national news, everyone talked about when it happened." Akira said, Shiki's eyes shining in recognition.

"So that's him..." Placing his hand on his chin, Shiki remembered what the news had reported two years ago.

Ryo Narushima, after a kind of outburst, probably caused by bullying , exploded into madness, where he brutally murdered his parents by stabbing and beating them. The news traveled all over Japan , becoming propaganda for bullying to be fought in schools. After the crime, Ryo was arrested and sent to a reformatory, where he spent two years. At least that is what the news reports said.

"That shit is fucking with my sleep! He's lucky I have to prepare for my pro fight!" Osanai, in a fit of rage, punched the desk hard, the wood of the desk breaking into pieces, scattering them across the floor.

"My desk!" Shiki cried out in despair as she saw her desk being destroyed.

"Oh, sorry." Osanai looked down at his hand, pulling it back as he ran his hand over the back of his head.

Shiki just whined, his head lowered as he looked depressed.

"We can't really do anything, at least not now. Yuji has made it clear that he no longer wants to lead something like a gang, and wants to keep us on track, so as long as they don't make a considerable move against us, we won't fight back. Also, if attacked , we would not be dealing with a gang, but with a criminal organization. Firearms would certainly be in their arsenal." Akira explained, his arms crossed as he maintained a calm expression, despite the clear frustration indicated by his slightly twitched eyebrows.

"Senju said he would keep an eye on them, and let us know if anything was getting out of hand." Finishing speaking, Akira leaned his back on the wall.

Shiki, who had kept quiet, looked at the bedroom window, his eyes filled with curiosity and concern.

'I hope Yuji returns soon.'

_________Yuji Pov_________

After 5 days of rest, I finally recovered. My skull was almost healed, and there was no more pain or dizziness, so I didn't have to worry about it affecting my performance. During my rest, I studied the building that the zone leader was in, and nothing really caught my attention.

The guards circling the building were just wimps, but I hadn't seen much else inside. I could climb to the top of the building where the leader would probably be, stubbing my toes on the concrete to do it, but honestly, that made it less fun. If I wanted to be recognized, I needed to do something that would draw attention, and what better than sheer show of force? Walking through the front door and climbing to the top while knocking out the guards was sure to make a name for myself.

I had confidence in my strength, so that even gunshots were not enough to make me back down. My body was not yet strong enough to withstand gunfire, but I didn't really need to welcome it with open arms.

My plan was to storm the building, take out the guards, get to the leader, gather as much information as possible, and if he was a maniac, throw him off the top of the building.

Should I encounter someone too strong, which is unlikely to happen, I would use my speed to retreat, but not before weakening him.

"Wow!"

I heard a familiar voice, my eyes turning upwards to see Kou staring at me in fascination.

As a form of warm-up, I was doing upside down push-ups, using my five fingers to prop myself up on the floor. The little girl looked shocked by what I was doing, and I couldn't help but smile as I imagined what was going through her head.

Letting my legs fall back, I stood up and stretched my body for a few seconds.

I hadn't taught Kou anything yet, but that was certainly on my to-do list, it just wasn't my priority at the moment. Probably after I had solved the problems with the zone leader, I would start teaching her.

Closing my eyes for a few seconds, I thought about my struggle against the two elites . In those 5 days, I fought against the two in my mind several times, and realized how many mistakes I made. The fight shouldn't have lasted long, but I was careless, which led to the blow to my head. If I were just a little less resistant, I would probably be dead now.

I wouldn't let something like that happen again.
