Chapter 26: The battle of legends and the CURSED

'Well, since Jiraiya and Naruto are here the battle should be in around one week I guess I will learn more about cursed techniques, ' Sanemi thought as he finished his meal, paid for it, and then left under the starry night sky.

'The fight of Tsunade and Kabuto should have begun by now...all I need to wait for is the summonings to come in play. ' Sanemi thought as he enjoyed some dango and tea while using his observation haki to assess the situation.

'Oh? this must be Jiraiya and Naruto getting in the battle, I guess it is around the time I show up as. ' Sanemi thought paid for his snack and then dissolved in the darkness.

"Who would have expected that I will be meeting all three sanin at the same time, " Sanemi's voice came as he appeared in the battleground with his Akatsuki gear.

"You are the guy who beat up Kakashi-sensei! " Naruto yelled as he recognized Sanemi.

"Oh, you remember me? Considering your low IQ I thought you would have forgotten about me. " Sanemi said as casually approached the three sanin.

"Long time no see, Mugiwara, " Orochimaru said as licked his lips.

"So you are a part of Akatsuki too? brave of you to come between our fight "Jiraiya exclaimed as he narrowed his eyes.

"You have been drugged Jiraiya, Orochimaru has lost his hands, and Tsunade is afraid of blood, which for a doctor is quite pathetic, " Sanemi stated as he pulled out Special Grade: Broad Sword which he had named Mihai.

"For the sake of fairness I will hold back," Sanemi said as he took a stance.

"Oh? even if we are injured we are the- " Orochimaru was unable to finish his words as he saw a chain heading straight for him, dodging the chain he along with Kabuto got in their respective stance as well.

Sanemi retrieved the chain and then stared towards the Sanin and the Jinchuriki.

'They are weakened to extreme right now and should provide for a good enough catalyst to increase my cursed energy. ' Sanemi thought as he rushed towards Orochimaru first.

"Hmm?" Orochimaru unable to keep up was punched in the face. Kabuto with his reflexes was able to pull out a kunai and stab it in Sanemi's direction. Sanemi dodged the kunai and kicked Kabuto away.

"Hey, you think you can just come and beat up whoever you want! I will show you! Dattebayo! " Naruto yelled as he charged towards Sanemi.

"Naruto wait!" Jiraiya called out and followed his student to fight Sanemi.

"Shadow clone jutsu!" Naruto summoned 100 more clones of himself who charged towards Sanemi.

Sanemi made a hand symbol by interlocking both of his thumbs. The shadows beneath him moved as an orange bird with a bone mask came in view.

"Nue" Sanemi stated as the bird launched multiple peals of lightning struck towards the clones which were made work of pretty quickly.

"A summoning? I have never heard of a lightning bird before " Jiraiya thought as he pulled Naruto away from the lightning strikes.

"Pervy-sage" Naruto exclaimed as he was dragged away.

Suddenly multiple snakes came in their direction. The snakes opened their mouths and swords came out headed straight for Sanemi.

{Cursed Technique: Blow Crush}

Infusing almost half of his cursed energy on his other hand, Sanemi released a massive shockwave which destroyed all the snaked.

Sanemi then turned and blocked the kunai thrown by Jiraiya and Kabuto attacked simultaneously from his exposed spot.

"Chiii!" The Nue chirped and shot lightning towards Kabuto who had to back away to dodge it.

"Oh? all of you are teaming up? except of course the Jinchuriki and the slug sanin " Sanemi said he twirled Mihai in his hand.

"I guess I should remove the distractions first," Sanemi said he targeted Tsunade with the divergent fist.

Naruto suddenly jumped in between the fist and Tsunade and took it head-on. His forehead under the regulation headband started to bleed as the previous blue headband gained streaks of red.

"You tanked it? I am impressed even though I didn't put much power into it. " Sanemi said and then pulled his blade back in an attempt to pierce Naruto.

Naruto caught the blade with his hand as it pierced through it.

"I told you, I will beat you up! Now there is nowhere to escape!" Naruto yelled as he made a clone and started preparations for a Rasengan.

"Take this Rasengan!" Naruto yelled as he tried to hit Sanemi with the Rasengan.

Sanemi covered his fist in cursed energy ad blocked the Rasengan with his other arm.

"Seems like you miscalculated, " Sanemi said as the Rasengan did little to no damage.

"He didn't " Jiraiya's voice came from behind Sanemi as Jiraiya shoved Rasengan in Sanemi's chest.

Sanemi was knocked back as crashed into rubble.

"It seems that both of the snakes escaped I hoped they would have held you back longer. " Sanemi stated as he came out from the rubble with his cloak destroyed from where he took the Rasengan.

"What can I say seeing my magnificence both of them started running in the opposite direction, after all, I am Jiraiya!" Jiraiya stated as he struck a pose.

"Why are both of you still fighting just leave" Tsunade suddenly had a breakdown.

"Tsunade! even if you left the leaf, even if you are no longer young, I Jiraiya will help you after all you are my teammate! " Jiraiya proclaimed he gave Tsunade a thumbs up.

"Well then shall we continue this? " Jiraiya said he narrowed his eyes towards Sanemi.

Sanemi glanced towards Tsunade.

'She needs a little more push, for the greater good' Sanemi thought as he made another hand sign, and shadows began moving under him a white snake with black patched and symbol on its forehead appeared.

"Orochi " Sanemi whispered.

"A snake summoning? " Jiraiya questioned as he pulled out a kunai.

"Attack the black-haired girl " Sanemi instructed and rushed towards Jiraiya and Naruto.

Kazuya: it is a Japanese name that in Kanji represents calm and peace, this was a reference to MC's mental state of always being calm and collected.

Sanemi: it is a Japanese name that represents kindness and sincerity this was the reference that MC must now collect positive karma and spread kindness with sincerity.

Yukimura: This name was a reference to a game in which a samurai went with the name Sanada Yukimura. Sanada Yukimura was inspired by Sanada Nobushige who was nicknamed the Crimson Demon of war and The last Sengoku hero.

The name represents MC's fall into a more bloody path, as you may have seen him being more brutal.

Yuki: it is a Japanese name that represents snow it was a reference to Yuki's initial race as an arctic fox.

Mihai: it is actually a roman name which is derived from Michale which means who is like the GOD.

While the names may look random but Tobi has carefully chosen them to represent MC's path, hope that you all understood.
