Chapter 8.

•Y/N POV•

I watched outside of the café window as it poured down. I sighed in frustration, had I really forgotten my umbrella? It even said it would rain on the forecast.. How stupid can one get..

I rubbed my face, as I looked to the next customer.

"Welcome to Sakura café, what can I get you?" Looking at his face closely was hard, he had a hoodie to cover it and had visible scratches upon his neck. I could barely see his red eyes beyond the hoodie, although he could see my E/C eyes perfectly.

I shrugged his creepy vibe off, as he answered. "I'll order you, out the back of the café." His voice was raspy, and somehow familiar. I tried looking closer at his face, though before I could answer or see further, he turned and slinked back outside.

If I wanted to find anything out, I should go check this out. I was curious as to who and what he had to say.

"Yanaki-chan! I'm going out for a bit!" I called out to her from the front, she was the one cooking for now.

"Okay!" I heard her answer, as I took the spare umbrella from the vase and ran outside.

As soon as I got to the back, I found a familiar villainous hair on show. It was soaked, though. His blue hair was matted against his head, though he soon heard my footsteps and turned over to reveal his menacing red eyes further.

"What is it, then, Shigaraki?" I demanded coldly.

// A/N: Ya'll be lucky this is Overhaul x Reader otherwise these two would be straight up makin' out right now bro.

"What's with the attitude?" He hissed out to me. "I simply want to make an alliance against Overhaul."

Now I realised the situation I was in..

If I refused, I'd look suspicous, he already suspects Kai and I..

Although, if I accepted he would be able to blackmail me with the heroes. If they found out I worked with him for this, they'd be pissed..

I thought this through, before I shook my head. "No." I then turned and walked away, quickly. It soon turned into running and I speedily made my way back inside.. Hopefully that's all he wanted.

•Overhaul's POV•

I got another phone call, and just made Chrono answer it straight away this time.

"I think my suspicions from last time are true, Overhaul~" Shigaraki spoke as if he'd won against me, with a sing-song voice - which was very unlike him.

"What are you talking about?" I grunted slightly.

"Y/N. She refused to fight you." His raspy voice was mocking and he was clearly amused.

"Maybe because I have the bullets, which I could easily use against her." I whispered into the phone, before I hung up. That was bound to piss him off.

The phone(?) rang again, and I answered reluctantly. "What?"

"What if I kidnapped her and brought her to you.. If you can't shoot her that would give me the exact answer I need and this alliance would be over.." I heard him scratching his neck as he said this.

"What if you did? I could just point it right back at you again." I smirked behind the mask, slightly amused.

"I'm sure my quirk could deteriorate her neck faster than you could say 'lover'." I could tell Shigaraki was smirking at this point, I could tell from his tone. Though, before I could answer he hung up.

Why am I working with such a child again?
