The Crested Triceratops

Upon completion of the preparation, their main cargo ship, the 'Crested Triceratops' rested at the dock. Its massive frame casts a deep shadow over the water.

Painted on the hull of the ship was the family's crest. It was made to depict the glory of a triceratops.

'Captain' Raul gazed at the ship and felt immense pride. "Now, that's a beaut!" he exclaimed, his hands on his hips.

"Dear?" Amina glared at Raul as she carried a wooden crate into the ship.

"Can you believe we're going on this ship, Ahmed?" Layla said as she helped carry boxes.

"It's surreal…" Ahmed gaped at the size of the ship.

Layla was a girl Ahmed befriended at the enclosure. She's the daughter of a loyal employee who was always by Raul's side.

Her mother asked Raul for a favor to bring Layla on their journey, and he agreed. He's known Layla since she was born. She was like a daughter to him.

The interiors of the ship held multiple cargoes and were spacious enough for the dinosaurs.

Every compartment was meticulously designed to fit the largest infant dinosaurs. Granting them a sense of comfort.

When the cargo was all loaded, the workers began transporting the dinosaurs to their temporary enclosures.

It took expertise, patience, and some kind of bond to complete the endeavor. The dinosaur's caregivers were the ones assigned to the task.

The first dinosaur to be loaded was Spike's relative. Spike was the triceratops that Ahmed had previously overseen. He was guided gently up the loading ramp and into his room.

Ahmed watched in awe from the back. As the triceratops made their way into his cage, Ahmed stared intently at the movement of the triceratops's legs.

"They're so… calm!" Ahmed marveled at the sight.

"That's because they trust their caretakers as much as Luna trusts you," Raul responded.

Soon it was Ahmed's turn to guide Luna into the ship. He first caressed Luna's stomach, then proceeded to calmly let her follow him.

"Dad, does it have to be Luna?" Ahmed nudged Raul as the workers put the lock on Luna's door.

"Don't worry, your grandmother is there. She's trustworthy," Raul said while scruffling Ahmed's hair.

With all the dinosaurs loaded, Captain Raul headed to the bridge and picked up the announcer.

"Everyone!" he shouted into the microphone.

"Let's enjoy this voyage!" he shouted once more.

"Aye!" everyone yelled in unison as they put their hands up.

To prevent the precious incident from happening, everyone on the crew was personally scouted by Raul. Therefore, the chance of failing is minimal.

Everyone on the crew was a committed group of conservationists. They were as passionate as Raul when it came to handling dinosaurs.

Early in the morning, the Crested Triceratops set sail. The ship moved crudely, but it did so with grace and purpose. Much like the Triceratops onboard.

As they sailed further into the ocean, Ahmed was fascinated by the sight in front of him.

Although he was wealthy, he spent his entire life being dictated to by his father. He never allowed him to venture outside the city.

He listened to the melodies of the ocean intently. The waves lapping against the hull reminded him of when he was Captain Daniels.

He and Layla stuck together the whole time. They spotted seagulls, who filled the air with their unruly calls.

When night came, they sat beside Raul on the bridge. There, they admired the moon, along with the light it reflected upon the calm waters.

The moon and its children illuminated the dark horizon. They created a celestial painting that stretched beyond the limits of imagination.

"I wonder if Luna's enjoying the moon," Ahmed muttered as he cozied himself up with his blanket.

Multiple days and nights passed, and everyone on the ship became accustomed to the ocean. Their voyage felt like a spiritual journey.

When the sun was out, they were greeted with dolphins. They played and rode in the ship's wake, propelling them forward.

The workers who were taking a break marveled at the sight of them. Some even alleviated their seasickness when they saw them.

On a random morning, what greeted them weren't dolphins. Numerous shadows varied in size and appeared beneath the ship.

To everyone's relief, it was caused by a pod of whales. The largest of the shadows was caused by a blue whale, which surfaced nearby. Displaying its colossal body in its full magnificence.

"Splendid!" commented Captain Raul as he continued to sail.

From then on, the ship would encounter various other sea creatures. From schools of colorful fish to graceful sea turtles.

At night, bioluminescent jellyfish would surface. Along with the plankton, they illuminated the water with their soft, ethereal glow. A surreal experience that left them breathless.

On a clear night, the stars of the zodiac would reveal themselves. Various signs colored the night, turning it into a cosmic river. Everyone reflected at the sight of it.

"I can't help but think that there is something else. Something beyond our reach," Amina said as he tucked Ahmed in.

Ahmed held on to the desire to tell her about the pink-haired lady. The one who oversees their every move.

While Raul let another crew take over the helm, he spent time with his family, including Layla.

Raul, Amina, Ahmad, and Layla shared a moment of silence, lost in their thoughts. The voyage influenced them for the better, deepening their relationship.

Whether they were family, like the dinosaurs, or friends, the workers were busy doing their bidding.

The Crested Triceratops continued their voyage to the Suez Canal. There, they could resupply and prepare for the final stretch of their journey to the island near Batavia.

As they approached the Suez Canal, the anticipation of what lay ahead filled their hearts.

The canal was a gateway to their destination; it was a chance to bring the wonder of living dinosaurs to a new world.

The family fell flat on the breathtaking views of the surrounding desert landscape, feeling a sense of awe and excitement for the unknown that awaited them.
