Origin of Chaos: Legend of The Red Tiger

In the world of Zenon, where Psychic and esper powers reigned supreme, Alexander, the royal prince, was born without the ability to harness the psychic energy known as “Zet”. Branded a “dud” by the society, Alexander faced discrimination and hate, even within his own kingdom. However, tragedy struck after a brutal coup claimed the lives of his parents, casting Alexander into slavery, stripping of his royal name and status. During his time suffering as a slave, Alex’s rage grew even more and he swore to get revenge on the world that had rejected him. His chance for vengeance came after fifteen years, when he and a large number of slaves were forced to go through an inhumane gene-altering experiment. A huge majority of the slaves lost their lives, their bodies unable to take the excruciating pain from the experiment. There were only five survivors, which included Alexander and four others, emerging as new beings with supernatural abilities. With their newfound powers, Alexander and the other four unleashed chaos and destruction upon Zenon, wreaking havoc on those who once oppressed them. However, their actions and even their mere existences drew grave consequences, ones that may be far bigger than them. **** This novel contains serious bloodshed and gore, please don’t read if you can’t stomach any of this. A deserving death

"F-first… I have to s-sound a warning to the kingdom…" He mumbled, his hands trembling uncontrollably.

He frantically dashed to a set of keyboard a few steps across him, his hands still shivering.

'A creature that wouldn't die even after having his brains blown out… how the hell are we supposed to stop that?' He thought, biting his fingers.

'I hate to admit it… but he's at least… a world-level threat…' He mumbled inwardly, the gravity of the situation sinking deeper inside him.

   "But—"

Boom!!

A loud bang suddenly echoed behind him, causing his eyes to widen in shock.

Before he could even react, a strangely familiar hand abruptly gripped his neck from behind, sending chills down his spine.

Contrary to his expectations, the palm was… surprisingly warm, however, that only terrified him even more.

"W-what…?" He mumbled, slowly turning his head to the side, only for his gaze to meet with a pair of bright red eyes.

"Did you really think you can hide from me?" Alex said, slowly tightening his grip on the man's neck.

Drip!

"Y-you… how did you.. find me…?" Port'hov mumbled, his body trembling in pain as Alex's claws pricked his skin, slowly drawing out blood.

Although it didn't hurt much, he was still wary since anything could befall him from that small graze alone.

Nonetheless, what surprised him the most was how Alex found him, and so fast at that.

He had already expected to be found sooner of later, but he hadn't expected to the caught so soon.

The lab he was in was fully soundproof, and there was a thin barrier around it which prevented any one from detecting it.

The only ones who could grant entry to it, were him and his daughter, who was late now.

"How I found you…?" Alex muttered, slowly releasing his grip on the man's neck.

He was currently putting on a different set of clothes, comprising a long-sleeved blue T-shirt, and thick black trousers.

They were clothes he picked up from the other lab.

To his surprise, there was actually a bathroom there, where he rinsed off all the blood on his body.

He also found some set of clothes, and he simply picked something he felt comfy in. At least, it was better than running around in a bloodied transparent gown.

As for how he found Port'hov, it was very easy, especially since the man was not too far from the other lab.

From what he had noticed, this whole place was one giant underground laboratory.

The white room he was in before was a couple meters deeper than this one, so in order to find Port'hov, all he had to do was smash through all the floors, until he finally got here.

'This place… is huge.' Alex thought, staring around with a slight frown on his face.

Compared to the white room he was before, this laboratory was a lot larger.

Numerous holographic screens hovered in the air, each displaying a different set of  information.

There were also large tubes around the walls with a strange liquid pumping through them, along with other laboratory equipment.

"You sure have one giant laboratory…" A low voice suddenly reverberated in the air, causing Port'hov's eyes to widen in shock.

'What?!' He thought, subconsciously snapping his head to the direction the voice came from.

His eyes met with that of a strange blonde haired man, who was standing nonchalantly on one of the giant tubes.

"W-who are… you?" He mumbled, his eyes widening in surprise. 'I didn't notice him… not at all.'

"Who am I you ask…" The man said, slowly turning to Port'hov.

"Why don't you take a guess?" As he spoke, his eyes suddenly glowed yellow, causing Port'hov's eyes to widen in shock.

'His eyes… don't tell me there were two of them?!' Port'hov thought, his body trembling in fear.

'W-wait… I might be overreacting here. His eyes aren't red… like Alex's… so they might not be the same. He's probably not as strong… yeah…' His thoughts kept flying all over the place, as he tried to convince himself that the situation was still manageable.

Just having one of them was already enough calamity for the kingdom, talk less of two!

'As long as I kill him… it'll all be over.' Port'hov thought, his gaze turning back to Alex.

  'I just have—'

"So this is where you're manufacturing it… that strange fluid you injected into all of us." Alex said, breaking the man off his thoughts.

He slowly walked forward, his gaze lingering on the giant tubes connected all over the place.

Meanwhile, Port'hov's lips slowly curled into a smile, as his fingers finally pushed a red button hanging at the side of his belt.

'This is it… a chance!' He thought, swiftly pulling out a small gun from his pocket, before pointing it at Alex.

Swish!

However, before he could even pull the trigger, his right arm suddenly dropped to the ground in front of him.

The gun slipped from his fingers, falling to the ground with a low thud.

Plop!

Spurt!

"Huh?" He muttered in shock, as he watched his arm fall to the ground with blood gushing out of the sliced off part.

"Argh!!!" In the next second, the pain from having his hand cut off hit him like a tsunami, and he screamed out in agony.

Spurt!

He immediately fell down to the ground, lightly gripping his shoulder which was now missing an arm.

'What happened?! When did he cut off my arm?!!' He thought, biting his lips in pain.

Drip!

Warm blood rapidly trickled down the gaps between his fingers, forming a small pool on the ground beneath him.

'I-i have to run… kill him…? What was I thinking… t-that's impossible!' He thought, his eyes trembling with a mixture of fear and pain.

He swiftly turned around, slowly crawling away from Alex.

'I-i need to get away… I… c-can't die yet!' He thought, his body shivering uncontrollably.

However, despite trying his hardest to get away, all he could manage to do was crawl on the ground slowly.

The large amount of blood he had lost, and the sheer amount of pain coursing through his body greatly affected him, severely weakening his body.

'No… move faster… p-please…' He mumbled inwardly, tears streaming down his face.

"Port'hov…" The devil's voice suddenly seeped into his ears once more, sending a shiver down his spine.

"You're a curious one aren't you?" The devil spoke again, lightly gripping his neck from behind.

"N-no…" Port'hov mumbled, feeling an even greater wave of despair wash over him as he felt those bright red eyes drill into his head.

Drip!

Alex slowly pulled his hand away, before suddenly digging his claws into the back of the man's neck.

"Argh…" Port'hov grunted in pain, as he felt a strange fluid slowly pump into his neck.

"W-what… the h-hell is that…?" He mumbled, gnashing his teeth in agony.

"Aren't you curious… about what my venom does to the human body?" Alex muttered, his lips curling into a sinister smirk.

"V-venom…?" Port'hov mumbled, his eyes slowly widening in horror.

Suddenly, he felt a sharp burning sting at the back of his neck, which rapidly spread throughout his body.

At first, he tried to hold in the pain, however, he failed woefully as pain immediately shot up to even greater levels.

"Arghh!!" He shouted in agony, rolling his body helplessly on the ground.

"A slow and agonising death, that is what you deserve." Alex muttered, with a slight smirk on his face.
