Chapter 70

"What do you think about him?" asked god.(The god who reincarnated mc btw)

He was a round table with some other gods. "I like the boy. He helped me fix my relationship with hera!" They all looked at zues in doubt. "Okay. On a serious note, I expected him to be more..you know, outgoing per say?" The other gods nodded their heads.

"I thought that he would be more arrogant with the destructive powers that he posesses" said hermes. "Yes. He doesnt do anything bad. He actually still respects us I'm pretty sure." All of them nodded and went silent.

"Do you ever think that he'll try to turn against us?" Everyone looked at Poseidon when he asked that. There was another brief moment of silence until.. "He would never! We all watched him and his journey in this world. We've seen how he only wants to live a 'normal' life." Aphrodite was speaking with her hand over her chest.

"That is true. Besides, if he does go against us then what could we do? He has all of our godly powers combined and more. Hell, he doesnt even have to use them to defeat us. One thought out of his head and we're through."

The gods listen to zues, who was stated to be the strongest among them, rant on. "Well we dont have to worry. He likes us and we like him." They all shook their heads and smiled.

Those guys up there are making me blush a little.

Anyways, we were now in a huge room with only walk ways in it. It was on the 130th floor which was quite high. My room was a couple of floors down from here tho.

"So your saying that we were lead her on purpose?" Melissa looked at me and nodded. I sighed then said "Well that's fine. Were closer to the top anyways." As I was saying that, a weird sound went off.

"What was that noise?" I turned to melissa and looked at her. "Its the security system. T-They must have activated it to stop us." I nodded at her and looked away. When I turned around, I saw alot of mini robots.

"Okay guys. We just have to defeat them." They nodded at me and got serious. "Izuku, todoroki, and bakugo. You defeat the ones in the front." They nodded at me and left.

Oh yea. I can call them by their normal names because of a skill. Basically, whenever I say their names, all they hear is me calling out their hero names. Everybody hears it like that aswell.

"Momo. Create a Emp. Alot of them actually." She nodded her head and started. "Its going to take a while for me to make some. Can you wait?" I looked at her and nodded.

In that moment, a flying robot came at me and melissa. "Kenji! Watch out!" said melissa while crunching down. The robot came speeding at us and was 6 feet in front of us now. I bawled my fist and punch at it. The wind pressure alone was enough to send it away.

"A-Amazi-" I put my finger over her mouth. "I'm sorry. I forgot to tell you my hero name. Call me ajax." I took my finger off her mouth and helped her up. "A..jax?" I nodded my head at her and looked away.

I'll have to ask him if I could use his name after this. You see, I chose the hero name, god, as a joke but I realized that hero names should be more meaningful. God held alot of power behind his name but it really did just make me sound arrogant.

Ajax was considered a hero among gods so choosing it as my name would kinda be fitting. Well, the 'being a hero' part atleast.

"Sorry about that." Izuku came up to me and put his head down. "You shouldn't have hit that robot so hard. What if I wasnt next to her?" He thought about it and nodded. "So did you take care of them all in the back?" He looked up at me and said "Yes. But they keep coming. What should we do?" I thought for a second then looked at a certain person.

"Go tell bakugo and todoroki to lead all the robots here. We'll be ready for them when you come back." He nodded and jumped away. "Kaminari. Your up." He flinched a little and nodded.

Momo was finished with the EMPs now and gave them to me. I took them and threw them all over the room.

"2 million volts!" Screamed out kaminari. Izuku rounded up all the Robots that he, bakugo and todoroki brought with black whip. He then made them all float in the air. I punched a hole in the wall and told kaminari to start.

He shot out the 2 million volts at them. He could control where his lightning was going for a second before it goes loose. He aimed it at the robots and they died out. I then told izuku to drop them and he did.

They fell down on some more robots in the streets. "All right that's all of them. Where to next?" She got off of my back and said "We have to go to the server room. It's the final place before the command room." We all nodded and she got back on my back.

We then walked over to the exit and left. The hallways were empty with nothing in them. "You guys should put some paintings in here. It's very dull." She giggled when I said that. "Well, not that many people come this way but we'll consider it." I nodded my head at her and kept walking.

We soon arrived in the server room. There were huge computers on walls with a big one in the middle. "So all we have to do is keep walking I guess." We did as I sais and just kept going.

It didn't take long before we were attacked. There were drones and this time with alot more mino bots. "Alright guys. Same plan as last time." They all nodded and started doing their own things.

I was sitting down with melissa on my side. "Shouldn't you go help them? They seem like they need it." I smirked at her and said "I have to protect a certain someone that's why. And besides, they can-" I got up and grabbed her quickly. I then jumped away.

On the spot that we were sitting at, a small missile exploded. I tucked her into my chest and turned my back towards it. Pieces of metal flew into my back but it was fine.

"Are you ok!?" I hate those questions. The ones were you know that I'm not fine but you still ask. "Yea I'm good. It's just a scratch." I softly landed on the ground and sat her down. I looked over to fight that was behind me and frowned.

"We have to hurry and and leave melissa." I picked her up and yelled out to everyone. "I'm going guys! Meet me on the roof when your done!" They all nodded at me and continued fighting.

I buried my legs in the ground and shot pass them all. I went through a door and stopped. "Where to now?" She looked around for a moment then pointed up.

I looked up and saw where she was pointing at. "This is going to hurt you know." She only nodded. I sighed and started seeping into the ground. I shot up and cocked my fist back. A wall appeared in front of us and I punched it.

The wall instantly exploded and we came through. "A-Ajax. Your hand!" I look at it and it was bloodied. Human body's really are fragile.

"Its just a scratch. Now let's go." She nodded with a concerned look. "You can put me down now. I'll run the rest of the way." I nodded at her comment. I sat her down and she took her shoes off. "Ouch!"

She stepped on a piece of rubble. "Be careful." She nodded at me and I took her hand. We continued running up the stairs for a while.

"This is where you stop brats." 2 men appeared in the stair well.

They then started shooting at us. I pulled melissa behind me and put my arms up. The bullets rained down on me but I took them. They continued firing for a while.

"So your sturdy kid?" They both stopped shooting at me. " But I bet even you cant survive this!" He took a ball of his waist and threw it at me.

The other guy then aimed his gun down at me.

I'm not that smart with writing battles so I did something idiotic. I pushed melissa back really far and darted at them. The man shot bullets at me but I just caught them all with my left hand.

I caught the grenade with my right and and kept running at them. Their eyes widened when the realized what I was about to do. I appeared in front of them and the grenade went off.

A huge exposition went off. It blew out the wall on the right and everything else for that matter.

"Ken-ji..?" Melissa stared at the scene then slowly started to tear up. She then started walking towards me with a blank stare. She tripped a few times but ignored it.

She then started removing the rubble and saw blood stains. "Oh no! Kenji!. Say something. Please." Streams of water kept pouring down her face.

I was just chilling under some rubble, waiting for her to find me. Although, the sight of this detached head next to me was kinda unpleasant.

"Kenji!" She found some of my destroyed clothes and started digging deeper. She saw me and how I was just lying there. "Hey melissa. About time you found me." She stared at me and more tears came down. She then bent towards me and hugged me tightly.

"You idiot! You should have said something. I thought.. I thought that something terrible happened to you!" I patted her back and smiled. "I wont be able to if you keep hugging me this hard." She instantly got up and backed away. She made a relieved look while i started sitting up.

My shirt was completely gone but everything else was fine. I saved my pants from being destroyed so that's something.

"Kenji. Maybe we should wait for you to heal first before going." I shook my head no and got up. "Look. I'm already healing so its fine." She stared at me for a while then sighed. "Fine. But take it easy on yourself!" I nodded at her and we started walking away.

...

"Father... What do you mean by that?" We were in some sort of vault. "Melissa honey? What are you doing here?"

He slowly walked up to her and went in for a hug. "No dad! I heard everything! You were the one that caused all of this?" She pushed him away and his eyes widened.

"Listen sweetheart. I was just doing this for uncle might. I didn't mean any harm." She shook her head in disapproval. "No father. This isn't right or fair. Those kids have been risking their lives for us because of your own selfish ideas. Look at him!"

She then pointed to me. "He risked his life multiple times just for me and look! He's injured and bloodied and beat up all over. Did you actually think that this was a good idea?" The professor then looked over to the tattered and bruised me.

His eyes widened even more when he saw me. "I-.. I'm sorry dear. I-I just wanted to heal him..I didnt mean to cause all of this." The man then started breaking down.
