Chapter 36: What am I looking at?

~Kuro POV (10 years old) ~

When I was done with the presentation of my speech, I ask everyone in the village, "Alright as my first act of being your leader we have to feed our fellow breatharian with food fortunately for you guys I know a way to help and the second is treat everyone as if they are your family with respect."

With that I open the door to the Door Dimension surprising everyone here except for Ram and Cinder, "Since everyone is here how about we get your stomachs full before we start your training against the Grimm invasion trust me you will not regret it!"

With that I left inside with everyone from the tribe come inside to see there was floating islands and tower and…

Morgiana points out to the giant water bottle and non-perishable food bar, "Leader Kuro sir, why is there a giant water bottle and food bar?"

Now that is a good question at this, I just use that for a water supply and shower when we take the water and Cinder heating it up with her fire but didn't answer her question when I saw Kagero coming towards me.

When Kagero came towards us I greeted him accordingly, "Sup Kagero! Listen do you still have the Meat Trees still inside your castle because we need them to feed the Faunus."

Kagero nods its head as well as responds to me, "Don't worry Kuro sir, the rest have already seen what was happening and Rem with the I, Nora, and Neo help to get a feast ready for them."

Oh, really now I guess they would have seen my fight with Morgiana and prepared in advanced when they saw their situation good.

Then Kagero releases out a table out of his castle surprising the Fanalis tribe with the food presented in front of them with some of them drooling while I ask them, "What the hell are you guys waiting for dig in already!"

With that I see every single one of them started to eat down with tears rolling down their faces at the meat their eating that is something I can agree with...

Then I see Ram going away from us with her shadow soldiers as into Kagero while saying to me, "Well then Kuro sir I think I'll help the rest with the cooking, you better start training them as soon as possible just leave me and Rem to all the cooking needed while you are busy training the rest."

I nodded my head towards Ram as she left, I see everyone enjoying the meat their eating I couldn't help but laugh at the scene which was noticed by Cinder, "Hahahaha…"

Cinder then questions me about my laugh as she smiles at me, "Oh? Nero why are you laughing at the scene ahead of us?"

I just look at Cinder with a reminiscing smile while responding to her, "Oh, nothing Cindy just remembering the first time hunting and getting a meat was something rare for us at the time without the threat of us being killed from Grimm or starving just some old memories is all."

Cinder also starts to remember the time when we were very hungry and starving during our time in the orphanage while she finally responds to me, "Yeah… those were some pretty shitty times for us wasn't it and the second when we are free we just have to get forced into some else group right?"

Yeah talk about dumb luck and stupidity there but I agree with Cinder our luck or mine is pretty bad, "Yeah those were some shitty times as well but… I guess we had each other's backs during the worst of things right Nya~?"

Cinder just giggles at that still though this only just two years when we left the orphanage and a lot has happen during that time but for now, "I think it's time to train the hunters you want to come with Cindy Nya~?"

Cinder nods her head as she says to me, "Wouldn't haven't any other way Kuro. Now then do you have an idea how to train them?"

I just revealed a sinister smirk at Cinder question with my answer, "Easy will train them in the Hungry-La island it will be easier this way to physically train them all as well motivate them to get their prey since everyone here will probably want more of this food."

Cinder just pales at the idea and then replies appropriately, "Oh, those poor bastards they never stood a chance."

I laugh at Cinder response then I started to walk towards the 35 Faunus hunters including Morgiana while lowering the Hungry-La island down to ground level, "Alright then my hunters I see that your done eating now is the time to train yourselves but first do all of you have your auras unlocked?"

They all nodded their heads perfect now on to the next step while the island is finally at the ground level, "Ok perfect now then the island were going to is going to be a food paradise with their own creatures that are delicious for the tribe and perfect way to strengthen yourselves."

They all agreed to go but first I went over to Morgiana with a Curse Remover and the Suna Suna no Mi with me finally deciding that she will be the one to eat the Logia Sand fruit since were going to need a Sand Faunus/Human for this invasion.

We need to use everything our advantage and luckily, she already loyal to me plus the Grimm maybe used to the sand but I'm willing to make a bet that they never have had the sand attack them.

I managed to grab Morgiana shoulder and told her only enough for her to hear me, "Wait one-minute Morgiana I want to something, do you care for your tribe?"

She turns towards me but is surprised at the sudden question but replies to me with a serious voice, "Yes I care for my tribe a lot enough to train to be a leader… I guess former leader…"

Good then this makes things a bit easier with the next question, "Ok then here is the next question you know that your people are going to be killed but what if I give you a power to change that?"

Morgiana was getting confused what was I getting at but replies to me with a determined gaze, "I'll do anything to help my tribe leader Kuro sir!"

Perfect at least for now she will be helpful in the future with that I bring out the Logia Suna Suna no Mi and a Curse Remover and hand them over to Morgiana with clear confusion on her face.

She then asks me with clear confusion in her voice, "Leader Kuro sir, how would this fruit and potion be of any help to our cause?"

I then started to explain to her the power that the Suna Suna no Mi holds as well as the purpose of the potion to remove the sea water curse as well as warn her that she still has weakness to aura coated weapons but is invulnerable to normal hits from normal Grimm as a bonus.

After explaining it to her she didn't hesitate any longer and ate the fruit whole and drank the potion then she looks surprise to see her body change to sand!

I smirk at the scene before me at Morgiana bows her head to me while having tears of gratitude, "Thank you very… sniff… leader Kuro sir with this… I can help my people…"

But this point I corrected her by saying to her with my voice filled with conviction, "Correction we are not strangers and anyone under my family I will do my best to keep them happy always remember this Morgiana!"

Then she looks up to my gaze that was strong and determined, "From the moment I took control of your tribe is no longer the Fanalis tribe but under my me as family those who are under me are treated with respect and those who defy me are enemies!"

Then I hear Morgiana says to me something I haven't really thought of before, "In that case leader sir, sniff, what is your family name then?"

Uhm… now that I think about it, I really didn't give my family a name, yet haven't I?

I see Morgiana is smiling at me expecting an answer while I sheepishly say clearly embarrassed but Cinder snickers at the background, "Ugh… never mind the name for now we have pressing matters to attend to Morgiana just make sure you catch up with the other members while we observe your activities."

She looks confused but nodded in agreement and says to me with excitement in her voice, "I understand leader Kuro sir! It must be something really important I hope to hear the name one day leader sir!"

When she left Cinder comes to my side laughing at me struggling to answer Morgiana question, "Hahaha! Oh, man that was gold Kuro the guy that does the impossible possible couldn't give a answer to a girl?! Oh, how the mighty have fallen."

I look towards her clearly seeing giving her a deadpan look while finally sighing out loud but smirking at the end, "Sigh… are you coming to help out or just enjoying my suffering why don't you miss 'Cruel Sun' Cindy Nya~?"

Now Cinder just freezes on the spot while I was showing a smug look on my face while my best friend is blushing out of embarrassment you didn't think I would find out about this didn't you god bless Oda for the ability of the Goro Goro no Mi.

When Cinder heard my sentence, she was blushing madly trying to defend herself while covering her face with her hands, "Now, now, Kuro maybe you heard that wrong you know I never do those childish things like that right?! Please believe me I was framed! I was set up for this I didn't say the name of my attacks?!!!"

To my response was me laughing on the floor rolling all around for today there truly is a god if they made Cinder follow my bad habit, "Hahahahahahaha!!!!"

Oh, man this truly is a glorious day!

Oda is great for naming the attacks-

That was as far before I was suddenly hit by a flamethrower by Cinder while she was grinning at me… I know that look!

That is a look of when Cinder gets angry but then she tries to cool down again and says to me while expressing a cold smile, "As much as I would like to attack you to keep that a secret we have more pressing matters to attend to right Kuro?"

I nodded my head slowly at Cinder yeah, it's not from a wrath of a girl ok, it's just not that she can throw huge fire balls of fire at me nope it's not that really!

But we should really get ready for the fight and stop playing around and with that we began training the hunter Faunus how to fight.

~Third POV~

5 days have passed in the Door Dimension with everyone training to the best of their abilities and were making progress on all their personal strengths.

The other hunters in the tribe and Kuro group were training as hard as they could against the Gourmet Beasts and Kuro group as well, but they were only able to fight against the barbequed pigs since it requires at least 10 experienced people with guns to take it down.

So almost everyone in both groups are at the strength of 10 adult people except for the younger members of Kuro group like Nora and Neo still need time to develop their physical strength.

As everyone was training Morgiana was getting more used to her new sand logia devil fruit and had some perfect testing grounds in the real world since they are surrounded in her natural element.

Kuro was training his physical body as well as get some traps set up thanks to Kagero, Neo, Morgiana, and the Automata's preparing their electric powered rifle guns with Nora help as a refuel source and setting up traps in the Ancient Birkia Island.

When Kuro wanted to face the Grimm, he knew they were going to be difficult since they were going to be at home field advantage since, they are already used to the dessert's environment, so he decided two forces ready.

The first force will release a barrage of long-range powerful attacks that consist of the Faunus hunters of Fanalis with 35 people including Morgiana as the spear head of the attack holding off and killing as much Grimm as possible.

But that's not all since the first force will also have Ram and Kagero be there to provide the fire power while they decrease them in a large amount while Kuro observes from above the sky waiting to see that they reduce the invasion of enough for him to send them to the second force at the ready.

The second force will consist of Cinder, Rem, Neo, the Automata's x100, Nora, and Kuro on the standby at the ready far away from the ancient city is when Kuro will open a door leading the Grim on the island already filled with the trap of Neo Cream Field that has the burning chemical properties to either slow or burn them.

At the moment when they come on to the island is when all the second force use everything in their power to destroy the Grimm from afar while it's not a 100% sure that the second force will get all of them there are some stragglers will be left over in the real world that the Faunus hunters will deal with.

This the plan that Kuro is using against the Grimm invasion this would show the hunters their time to show there training as well as show that their leader doesn't want a single casualty on his side!

Currently the citizens in the tribe are in the real world for the time being but when the day of the Grimm invasion happens, they will be transported to Re: Onigashima tower away from all the fighting that will occur in the following days.

Currently at the real-world Kuro is sparing with Morgiana getting her more used into her new devil fruit power in her environment the same for Kuro using his Electro helps him get better control of his lighting logia power.

Everyone from Kuro group has gone off to do their own training for the time being in the Door Dimension but not before Kuro leaving behind enough ice for everyone to cool down from the heat.

At the moment Kuro and Morgiana are currently exchanging blow for blow with Kuro using his fist coated with lighting in a low voltage, and Morgiana using her sand element to coat her arm into a miniature tornado of sand clashing it with Kuro lighting fist.

While those two were sparring each other Ram was left busy guarding the village for the time being till Morgiana was done training with Kuro.

When they encountered each other, they created a small shockwave from the impact sending Kuro back a few feet away standing while Morgiana was sent to ground but stands up again but says, "Leader Kuro sir, I think that's enough for today I think my body might collapse if we kept on fighting."

Kuro heard from her and nodded his head in agreement since she was the one who need the training currently since she has little time with her new logia fruit to be useful for the mission.

He went over to Morgiana and pull out his arm while she reaches for his also Kuro complements her skill in the short five days, "Yeah sorry about that it's just that there are only a few people who could go up against me there but hey your managing to get better control of your logia sand ability better than expected Morgiana."

She got up thanks to Kuro help and replies to him with a smile but rubs her cheek, "Yeah, damn you hit hard though I would think you would go easy against a girl like me, but you hit hard… ow..."

Kuro is sheepish on the subject but scratches the back of his head as he replies to her, "Well it's not like I care for gender that much? If he or she is an enemy, then I will attack them full force because they are my enemy, I don't care who they are or what they are attack full force and be done with."

Morgiana nods her head in understanding but she then asks Kuro what his goals are, "Leader Kuro sir, what exactly is your goals anyway?"

Kuro looks at her and smiles at her while he explains his goals to her, "My goals are very big Morgiana, what I dream is to conqueror Remnant and change it to make it safe for everyone. I just want a world where everyone is safe and can enjoy their own freedom without any fear."

Morgiana was surprised at Kuro ambitious dream she would have scoffed at that but after what he can do, she felt that he could possibly do it since he has done some impossible feats and managed to save her village from hunger.

Before the two of them walk to the village they both heard an explosion sound happening in the distance!

BOOM!

BOOM!!

BOOM!!!

That brought the attention of all three from Kuro, Morgiana, and Ram to immediately check out the area where the explosion originated from.

Ram made sure to leave behind 7 of her shadow soldiers behind to defend the village while rushing towards the location with Kuro and Morgiana they all met their eyes and nodded to search the location of the explosions.

BOOM!!!

When all three of them saw the scene before them something that is truly shocking them, they all have a vary of reaction of the scene before them.

But Kuro saw the scene of an injured Summer Rose using her silver eyes glowing out of her holding a scythe made out of her aura of silver while Qrow is facing off against Hazel but what caught Kuro attention was Summer opponent.

What Kuro saw was a humanoid Grimm standing at a 15'8" with three pairs of appendages on one on her shoulders, one that acts for arms, and one on the lower back with two tails standing on hind legs with two mouths one on the back of its skull and her mouth where its originally place with armor all around it.

When Kuro saw it he only had one thought in his mind that was in chaos at that moment, 'What the hell am I looking at here some kind of humanoid Grimm is something from Volume 8 like the hound or is it something else that is happening here?'

However, when Kuro appeared on the scene fate decided to be cruel at this moment that when he showed up all the attention was now on him while he was thinking to himself, 'Why me? Couldn't they have picked someone else or be back busy fighting each other?!'

In that moment the humanoid Grimm was now quickly rushing towards to Kuro and his group.
