In a certain sea area of the New World, a pirate ship sailed at high speed, flying the flag of the Rocks Pirates. Onboard, hundreds of pirates were armed and preparing for battle. Behind them, a World Government ship with numerous navy personnel was in hot pursuit. The leading pirate, a towering figure with a Rocks Pirates tattoo on his shoulder, spoke angrily, "Damn it! Why are they chasing us?"
"I guess they came here for that thing!" analyzed the ship's second-in-command.
"It looks like there's a spy on our ship!" the tattooed pirate said, searching the crowd, trying to identify the traitor.
"Boom!" A cannon shot out from the pursuing ship, initiating their attack.
"Their ship is faster than ours, we can't run away. Fight back, kill them for me!" the tattooed pirate shouted. "This is what the captain wants; we must not let them get it!"
As the gunners on the pirate ship began to return fire, the tattooed pirate took out a Den Den Mushi to report the situation. On the other side, Rocks pressed the answer button.
"Captain, it's bad. There's a spy on our ship. The World Government knows about that thing. We can't run away. The other side seems prepared. I guess we will die this time. We can't save that thing!"
"What did you say?" Rocks's face darkened.
"Captain, I—" Boom! An explosion interrupted, and the call ended abruptly.
Rocks's face turned grim. He tried calling back but received no response, indicating the other Den Den Mushi was destroyed. He then dialed another number.
As soon as the call connected, the voice on the other end hurriedly said, "Captain, many navy and CP agents, they used Garp's moves to fly over!" The sounds of battle and soon screams came through the phone. Rocks understood his men had been defeated.
"Bastards! Don't even think about taking my things!" Rocks threatened.
"Hehe~ Rocks, this thing can't fall into your hands. Now that we got it, forget it!" a CP agent taunted.
"You wait for me!" Rocks hung up the phone angrily.
"Go, gather all the cadres and ask them to board the ship. We will set sail in half an hour!" Rocks acted decisively and walked towards the shore with his weapons.
Soon, everyone heard about the impending departure and rushed to the ship.
"Sail! Quick, sail for me, to the World Government!" Rocks ordered. The helmsman and sailors, seeing the captain's anger, moved swiftly.
Charlotte Linlin and others were shocked. Rocks was actually going to confront the World Government directly?
"Captain, what is it that you want to go to the World Government?" Stussy asked curiously, a bit fearful.
"It's a fruit! Those bastards stole my fruit!" Rocks replied angrily. "That's the key to my becoming the king of the world!"
"Captain, I calculated the date, and it seems that in half a month, the Celestial Dragons will be hunting humans. Do you think they will take this fruit there as a prize?" Flame Flower analyzed.
Rocks was stunned for a moment and agreed. "So which island do you think they will hold this event on?"
"This kind of activity is usually kept secret, so it might be hard to guess!" Charlotte Linlin added.
Uchiha Madara, sitting by the railing, thought about the plot of Rocks' demise, which took place in the Valley of the Gods. Could it be there? And what is that human hunting activity?
"What is that hunting activity?" Uchiha Madara asked Whitebeard.
"You don't even know this? I'm really curious about where you were hiding to practice before!" Shiki the Golden Lion mocked.
Whitebeard explained, "This is an event held by the Celestial Dragons every three years. They choose an island that is not a member country, start a massacre competition on the island, kill all the indigenous people, and then declare that the island belongs to the World Government. The major families of the Celestial Dragons select the young people they consider outstanding to participate, sending some of their captive slaves to help their masters kill people and score points. Those with high scores can win prizes, expand their family power, or become a Knight of God!"
"So that's it!" Uchiha Madara nodded.
"This fruit belongs to me; they can't get their hands on it!" Rocks said fiercely.
Uchiha Madara wondered if the fruit was the Nika Fruit. "Rocks' current fruit is the Dark Dark Fruit. The Five Elders have been claiming to recover the Nika Fruit, so it is impossible to use it as a prize. The explosion in the Valley of the Gods was not caused by this. What on earth is that thing? Why does Rocks want it so much?" he pondered.
"Captain, I think we won't be able to get it back if we go to the World Government!" Stussy said weakly.
"I also think that would alert the enemy," Flame Flower echoed, both clearly apprehensive.
"Are you two scared?" Golden Lion asked with a grin, smoking a cigar.
"Who is afraid? I am just thinking about the captain!" Stussy argued, her voice betraying her fear.
"That's it!" Flame Flower added, lacking confidence.
"Kulalala~ If the Captain intends to confront the World Government, I don't mind giving it a try!" Whitebeard said with fighting spirit.
Rocks, calming down, agreed with the two's point of view. "What Stussy and Flame Flower said makes sense."
"Captain, what kind of fruit is this? It can make you so upset!" Captain John, who had been silent, asked with curiosity and greed.
Uchiha Madara also looked at Rocks, awaiting his answer.
"Do you know the lifespan of the Five Elders and Imu?" Rocks asked, causing Uchiha Madara's eyebrows to twitch.
Everyone on the ship knew about this information.
"Captain, is it Ope Ope Fruit?" Captain John asked hurriedly.
Rocks nodded. "The recovery ability of those old monsters is amazing, and their vitality is very strong. I need the Ope Ope fruit to weaken them, including Imu behind them!"
"I must get this fruit!" Rocks said seriously.
Everyone nodded in understanding, but the next second, Uchiha Madara spoke. "Oh? Can you give it to me?"
Everyone turned to Uchiha Madara. Rocks was about to question his audacity when a "puff" sound echoed through the field.
Whitebeard and the others turned their heads in disbelief, only to see a blue sword, wrapped in armed Haki, piercing through Rocks' body. Rocks' eyes bulged, and his body hung suspended in the air.
