Chapter 215: Amazon Lily: The All-Knowing God of Thunder

Kaku's comment nearly made Enel explode with anger.

Standing up in silence, Enel pointed outside the cabin with a calm expression and said, "Long-nose, come outside. I need to have a word with you."

Kaku wasn't that foolish and was about to refuse when Takumi pushed a few of his dishes toward Enel.

"This won't do," Kaku pushed the plates back. "If it's not to your taste, I can learn other cuisines, but you have to finish everything on your plate."

Takumi: "..."

"From now on, your three meals a day will be according to my arrangements, and you're not allowed to waste food," Kaku added as he saw Takumi reach for some wine, snatching the bottle away from the table. "You can drink, but only after you finish your meal."

"You're asking for it," Enel grumbled, "Now you even dare to manage Takumi, huh?"

Kaku shrugged, "I'm not trying to manage you. But there are certain principles to follow. I'm doing this for your health. If you don't eat properly, you'll regret it later. I know before, when I couldn't cook well, you guys refused to eat, and that's understandable. But now, my cooking may not be top-tier, but it's at least edible, right?"

Enel, thoroughly annoyed, muttered, "So, to protect my health, you're feeding me grass?"

Kaku laughed, "This isn't grass! It's wild vegetables unique to this island. Once we leave, you won't be able to eat them again. Besides, there's some meat in there too, isn't there?"

Enel picked up a tiny piece of meat from the wild vegetable dish and scowled, "This? You're kidding me!"

At this point, Enel was starting to suspect that Kaku was targeting him.

"Enough," Takumi interjected, tired of hearing them argue. "Enel, sit down."

Grumbling, Enel sat back down.

Kaku, with a slight smirk, pushed the wild vegetables back toward Enel and said, "The fridge is running low on ingredients, so that's why there isn't much meat. If you want more, you can go out tomorrow and hunt for some game. However much you catch, I'll cook for you. How's that?"

"Hmph, that's more like it," Enel snorted, still annoyed, but began eating.

Takumi, seeing no point in arguing further, also started eating.

Kaku chuckled softly, already familiar with the personalities and habits of both Enel and Takumi.

Enel, arrogant, boastful, and overly confident in his own strength, had little sense of morality. He would attack anyone, regardless of age or gender. Outwardly, he appeared difficult to get along with, but he was actually childish and easily angered, though he could be soothed just as easily.

Takumi, on the other hand, appeared cold and emotionless, acting as if he didn't care about anyone. He often seemed like a robot without feelings. However, Kaku had learned over time that Takumi wasn't as uncaring as he seemed. He was simply someone who was tough on the outside but soft on the inside, especially toward those he considered his own. If you wanted to deal with someone like him, the key was to always treat him well until he completely lowered his guard.

That's why Kaku was confident in his ability to complete the undercover mission given to him by Spandam. After all, patience was one of his greatest strengths.

As Kaku was about to start eating himself, he realized, to his surprise, that Takumi and Enel had already finished all the food.

Their speed was unreal.

"Huh? You didn't leave me any?" Kaku asked, half laughing, half annoyed.

Enel grabbed the apple juice from the table and coldly remarked, "You spaced out during the meal, so you get what you deserve."

Takumi, meanwhile, took back the bottle of wine Kaku had taken and left without saying a word, heading back to his room.

"You two are really harsh," Kaku muttered helplessly. "Honestly, on this ship, I'm nothing more than your free babysitter…"

"Hah, being a free babysitter is a bargain," Enel replied lazily, "Do you know how hard I had to work to convince that stone-hearted Takumi to take a shipwright on board? Others don't even get a chance."

"Wait, what?" Kaku was caught off guard.

Enel glanced at the darkening sky outside and, without another word, headed out of the cabin.

Seeing this, Kaku quickly put down the dishes and followed him. "It's getting dark. Where are you going? Don't cause any more trouble."

"Long-nose idiot, don't you trust your God of Thunder?" Enel snapped, "I'm just taking a stroll after dinner, maybe hunting for some wild game. What's wrong with that?"

"Wait for me. I'll come with you," Kaku said, catching up.

"I'm not a child. I don't need a babysitter."

"I don't trust you," Kaku retorted, "You're too reckless and have no sense of moderation."

"Long-nose, you must be itching for a beating!" Sparks of electricity crackled around Enel's body, lighting up the dark night.

Suddenly, a small voice interrupted them, "Wow, that's amazing!"

Lila stood by the shore in front of the ship, clutching a pile of food, her eyes wide with admiration as she gazed at Enel, who looked like a god surrounded by lightning in the dark night.

"Hm?" Enel turned to look at Lila, his face full of disdain. "You've got guts, actually daring to come here."

In fact, Enel had sensed Lila approaching the ship earlier, thanks to his Observation Haki. But since she was just an ordinary girl with no threat, he hadn't paid her any attention.

"Wait, you knew I was coming?" Lila asked in surprise.

Enel smirked, "I knew the moment you left that town full of women."

"Wow!" Lila exclaimed, full of excitement. "Really? That's incredible! I totally admire you!"

Enel, clearly pleased with the praise, laughed, "You've got good taste. I, the God of Thunder, forgive your ignorance."

"God of Thunder?" Lila blinked, then excitedly asked, "Are you really a god? Does that mean you know everything and can do anything?"

"Yahahahaha!" Enel burst out laughing. "Of course!"

Kaku, now standing beside Enel, glanced at Lila and sighed, "Stop lying to the poor girl…"

Enel shot him a glare. "Mind your own business."

Lila, full of admiration, asked eagerly, "Oh great, all-knowing God of Thunder, can I ask you a question?"

Enel, enjoying the attention, smirked and waved his hand. "Go ahead. Ask anything."

Lila wasted no time, blurting out, "Can you tell me the difference between men and women?"

Enel: "???"

Kaku: "..."
