Chapter 166: Setting Sail: Kaku's Plan

When Enel asked his question, Kaku felt an urge to punch him. He immediately pulled Enel aside and whispered, "Big Mom is one of the Four Emperors of the New World!"

"Uh?" Enel was stunned for a moment, "The Four Emperors? Are you sure?"

Kaku nodded in confirmation, "I don't know if they're Big Mom's subordinates, but Big Mom is one of the Four Emperors."

And suddenly, Enel was dumbfounded...

Thinking of something, Kaku asked, "Do they know who you are?"

Enel silently nodded.

Kaku rubbed his chin thoughtfully and suddenly came up with a perfect solution to their problem: "Since they don't know who we are, why don't we go all out and take them down? After all, no one else is here right now. As long as you don't talk and I don't either, no one will ever know we did it!"

"But what if Takumi finds out…" Enel's biggest concern was angering Takumi, as he knew Takumi hated getting into unnecessary trouble. Provoking one of the Four Emperors was no small matter.

Just from how Takumi blocked Whitebeard's strike for him previously, Enel already had a grasp of how terrifying the Four Emperors were. In Enel's mind, anyone who could become one of the Four Emperors had an incredibly terrifying level of strength.

"Don't worry," Kaku said, patting his chest. "I won't tell Takumi, and as long as you don't let it slip, Takumi will never find out what you've done."

Enel: "…"

"You sure?" Enel hesitated.

"Of course!" Kaku nodded. "We're all in this together now. If Big Mom really sets her sights on us, future voyages are going to be troublesome. I don't want to get caught up in that mess either."

"Alright!" Enel turned his gaze to Baron Tamago, his eyes flashing with a murderous intent.

Baron Tamago quickly sensed the killing intent and his expression darkened. "It seems you two are determined to go against Mama. My name is Baron Tamago, and you'd better remember it well, for it will be the name of the man who sends you to hell!"

Enel didn't waste any words. He twirled the golden staff in his hands and struck the thunder drums on his back twice.

A ferocious thunder dragon roared out from the drums, surging towards Baron Tamago.

Sensing the danger, Baron Tamago quickly spun his body horizontally at high speed, narrowly avoiding the thunder dragon just before it struck him.

With a loud 'boom', the thunder dragon crashed into the spot where Baron Tamago had stood moments before, leaving a smoldering crater behind.

Baron Tamago drew his cane sword and, spinning rapidly, launched an attack towards Enel and Kaku.

Enel was about to unleash another lightning strike.

Kaku, meanwhile, pulled out two square spades from his clothing and swiftly blocked Baron Tamago's attack.

But with a crisp 'crack', both of Kaku's spades broke.

"Ah, I actually liked those two blades," Kaku said, disappointed.

Baron Tamago didn't give his opponents any time to recover and spun towards Kaku again.

Kaku, however, chuckled softly, not the least bit flustered. Using a technique, he launched two sharp air slashes with his legs, aiming directly at Baron Tamago.

Baron Tamago quickly used his cane sword to disperse Kaku's air slashes, then charged toward Kaku, slashing downward.

Kaku leaped into the air, dodging the strike, and in mid-air, he launched a flurry of leg slashes directly at Baron Tamago.

Countless slashes rained down like a storm.

Baron Tamago blocked the onslaught with his cane sword.

Landing on the ground, Kaku kicked hard and broke Baron Tamago's cane sword. The two of them then engaged in a furious exchange of kicks, neither side gaining the upper hand.

Enel, watching the two of them fight, began to feel bored and yawned. "Can you handle it?"

While fending off Baron Tamago, Kaku replied, "This isn't exactly a fair duel. Ahem, I could use some help…"

"Why didn't you say so earlier?" Enel smirked darkly, turning his arm into lightning and flinging it towards Kaku and Baron Tamago.

A massive horizontal lightning bolt, God's Judgment, was unleashed.

Neither Kaku nor Baron Tamago had time to dodge.

But just before it struck, Enel, moving even faster than God's Judgment, pulled Kaku out of the attack range.

Then came a scream.

When the lightning dissipated, Baron Tamago lay on the ground, his body charred black.

However, the attack wasn't fatal.

"Hmph! Still alive," Enel sneered as he flashed forward, appearing in front of Baron Tamago and delivering a one-hundred-million-volt lightning strike that completely fried him.

The air was instantly filled with the scent of roasted meat…

"Hmph, too weak," Enel said lazily, walking away.

Kaku gave him a thumbs up, "Impressive, as expected from you."

However, before Enel could take more than a few steps, a cracking sound came from behind where Baron Tamago had been lying, seemingly dead.

Enel, confused, turned to look.

Baron Tamago's body had split open, with cracked eggs oozing out, and the yolk slowly began to take shape and grow larger.

Enel's mouth twitched, "Uh, what's this?"

Kaku's face showed shock. "Could he be a Devil Fruit user?"

With a loud squawk, a newly transformed Baron Tamago appeared, his face now resembling that of a chick, his suit turning yellow like chick feathers, and his hands morphing into wings. He now looked like a giant yellow chick.

"He actually revived?" Kaku exclaimed in surprise.

Enel frowned and asked, "What exactly are you?"

The revived Baron Tamago sneered, "I've evolved into my next form. I am now Viscount Hiyoko!"

"I don't care what kind of chicken you are. Just die!" Enel flashed forward again, appearing in front of Baron Tamago, and slapped him with a powerful strike.

As Baron Tamago tried to dodge Enel's attack, Kaku appeared where Baron Tamago was retreating to and kicked him back.

Enel's slap landed squarely on Baron Tamago's forehead. In a flash of lightning and with another scream, the newly evolved Viscount Hiyoko was once again fried to a crisp.

"This guy's ability is really disgusting," Enel said disdainfully. "He should be dead for good this time!"

Kaku scratched his nose and said uncertainly, "I'm not sure…"

Then, just like before, the charred Viscount Hiyoko's body split open again, and a pool of egg liquid oozed out.

Enel: "…"

Kaku: "…"

Just as the egg liquid was about to reform, Enel and Kaku, in perfect sync, stepped forward and stomped on it.
