Chapter 190: Vivi vs the Flying Pirates Part 1

The crew was in turmoil and the giant Wadatsumi started screaming in agony at the loss of his Captain.

"I don't understand, who shoot him?"

"Look for him, he can't be too far away!"

"Wait, look over there!" Someone pointed up, there was a small vehicle approaching.

"Someone is approaching!"

They all took out their weapons and prepared for battle.

"It's a human?!" One of them shouted.

The vehicle approaching was covered in a bubble, something that fishermen would not need to use.

Vivi stopped some distance away from the group of angry fishmen and looked at them.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to shoot him like that, but he left me no choice when he started to move that big ship."

"Human!, you killed our Captain!"

"Get her!"

The fishmen screamed with rage.

"Okay…lets see…"

She opened a small box that was given to her by Nami.

A small bubble started to grow and cover her body, she had to hurry up and leave the vehicle before the two bubbles collided.

Vivi moved some distance away from the vehicle to avoid it getting damaged during the upcoming fight.

"Hey, this is not bad at all. It feels a bit weird thought"

Her body was covered in a round bubble. The device she had open was an "instant personal coating" that was sold on Fishman Island to allow non-Fishman to move around freely underwater without the need for a vehicle.

"It will be easier to fight with this and I will not risk breaking my only vehicle.

She descended until she reached the bottom and was immediately surrounded by a crowd of around twenty very angry fishmen pirates armed with swords, knives, and spears.

"How dare you shoot our Captain!" One of the men pointed his sword at her.

"Whoa, I already said that I didn't mean to shoot him down like that," Vivi said defensively.

"Are you going to claim that you killed him by accident?!" He could not believe what he was hearing.

"No, no…I totally meant to kill him. I just did not want him to die so quickly. I wanted to make the pedophile die slowly." Admitted Vivi.

"What's a pedifle?" Asked a confused pirate.

"I think she may be referring to our Captains…emmm…preferences" Another one concluded.

"Oh…well that doesn't matter!. We are going to make you pay. You lowly human!" Shouted the fisherman.

"Come on, tone down the racism, you damn fish!" Shouted Vivi.

"That sounded pretty racist too…" Someone commented.

"Ahh! " One of them charged at her with great speed, trying to stab her bubble with a sword.

Vivi moved aside and managed to dodge the attack but her movements were sluggish underwater while her opponents were much faster here than on the surface.

"You have no chance of winning, human"

"Yeah, you only took down the Captain because of that sneaky attack but won't be able to fight all of us underwater"

"All we have to do is break that bubble and you are dead."

The pirate's confidence grew and they grinned in satisfaction at the thought of killing her.

"Charge!" They exclaimed.

She dodge the first attack reaching her and answered with a simple punch to the chest, resulting in the Fishman spilling his guts and dying instantly.

This made everyone stop in place. They did not expect her to be this physically strong.

During her two years of training in the Fire Island, Vivi had her body broken apart hundreds of times, and every single time this happened, the God Fruit would put her back together a bit stronger than before. At this point, even in physical capabilities alone, she could be compared to the likes of Zoro.

'The Old Hag said that I should be able to reach the growth limit during those two years of hell, but even after all of that, I still can't feel my limit…'

Vivi came out of her inner thoughts and noticed that everyone had stopped moving and was staring at her in horror.

"Come now, you are not going to get scared just because one of you died, right? You are fearless fishman pirates. Show me your superiority!" She teased them.

The provocation seemed to do the trick. The pirates yelled and moved towards her, weapons in hand.

Vivi deflected a spear attack and responded with a swift kick to the neck of the other pirate.

She then backstep a sword slash and launched a series of punches.

The fisherman pirates were falling one after the other. In only a minute, their numbers have been cut in half.

Vivi wasn't even using her powers, just some mixture of martial arts and her physical prowess alone.

"Shit!, she has some monstrous strength"

"Yeah, and knows how to fight too…at this rate, she is going to kill us all"

Then, all of a sudden, a gigantic hand descends upon her.

"Bamm!" The hand made contact with the floor where Vivi was standing.

"Wadatsumi!"

Exclaimed the men. The giant would never move without an order from their Captain so they were not expecting him to join the fight.

"You did it, Wadatsumi!, you crushed her!" The men cheered.

"Urggg!" The giant started to make a difficult expression. He seemed to be struggling with something.

He then gave a painful yelp of pain and quickly rose his hand back up. They were all expecting to see the bloody remains of Vivi, but they found her still intact and looking up with frowned eyebrows.

"That was not nice… "

"She is still alive?"

"Wadatsumi didn't manage to crush her? What kind of monster is that, is it really a human ?"

Vivi used her water abilities to propel herself and flew up toward the giant.

" You want to fight too, big guy? okay… let's do this!"
